Every time I see this I’m more and more convinced that this is more of a pitch than just a fan adaptation.
Kind of reminds me of the whole Deadpool leak. Maybe it'll be the same.. the demand will show producers and the actors that we really want this.

I’d heard that since this happened Netflix had approached them for a series if they could get the rights. Pretty sure the “official” movie’s on hold to settle this. (Really hope Fillion and the director wins)

I really enjoyed this. I think Nathan Fillion is a great Drake. He did look a bit stiff, especially when he runs to make the jump. But give him a few months to train and I believe he'll be great.
He does know how to get punched really well.
The one thing I liked with Nathan Fillion is how well he acts with just his eyes and facial expressions. He doesn't need to say a thing and you know what's going through that character's head. I'd love to see a full length version of this
This just fan made not sony production they prob get someone like whalburg or tom cruise to play old drake but this production story should be continued on in a tv series if not casted for the movie don't know about you guys & girls but i'm interested what drake finds in the Philippines continue this story on if not casted for the movie...

I like the fact that they've included in the script where the bad guy said, "Nathan Drake... in the flesh..." It kind of put the stress on the fact that if there is ever going to be a Nathan Drake movie out there, it should be Nathan Fillion because it's like the character itself is modeled after him lol

Correction, not hollywood, the studio or the people behind ideas, hollywood to me is just the place, if that made sense.
@Rapture is Near! yes, Hollywood's a location but in the world of cinema, it means those in the industry with fame, fortune, and with the power to make decisions. Green light whether a movie is made or not. Who writes the scripts. Decide which songs for the soundtrack. Which color gradient for the film. Whether there's a sequal. Etc. When people say "Hollywood" is my context they literally mean those with power in the cinema scene in the US.

Nathan Fillion IS my Nathan Drake. I just can’t envision how Holland can become closer to Drake than Fillion even after the former has aged 10 years or so.

My only issue is that Fillion is getting old, he already got some turkey neck going. I wish he was a decade younger so he could carry the franchize for many years to come. Other than that, i think no one can top Fillion's portayal of Drake, considering that the character was loosely based on Fillion in the first place.
Well for the role of sully I and a great many thought that Bruce Campbell would make the perfect sully. Beside the evil dead series if you look at Campbell in season 1 of burn notice his behavior was alot similar to what you expect from sully. But Lang was someone I never expected but was pleasantly surprised to see that he did a faithful take on sully. And that to me is what is important if you can faithfully capture the spirit of the role then it can be more important than the looks. But for fillion he is the best of both worlds he looks and captures the role of Drake.
How much you want to bet they didn't chase Drake because he was bugged?
Get me back in time, take Sean Conery as Sully, Harrison Ford as Nathan Drake and ... ha, never mind.

@@eighthlegofthephantomtroup1842 I would also recommend Bryan Cranston alongside Bruce. Both are good choices. Also, Bruce was the original choice to play Sully, but he didn't answer their call.

I think Bruce Campbell is a solid fit for Sully's character. Also the fighting scene is very similar to how melee action happens in the game. Agreed that Nathan Fillion is a good fit for Drake. This film is probably a pitch to a deep pocketed studio to help fund a full feature film.
Eh I think Campbell looks too close in age to Nathan and Sully needs to be a lot older than Drake for his character to work

Nathan is 47 now so a tad older than Drake and moves worse than 17 years ago. Too bad too. I have always thought he'd be a great Drake.
They should have made the movies 10 years ago, after the first uncharted game with fillion.
