I still think Mark Ruffalo simply meant it as a joke when he said that everybody dies in the end. I've said it too, on occasion, usually in frustration to someone who was only listening half-heartedly to whatever I was saying. And the second Mark said it, he realized that he had actually given something away even before Don Cheadle began saying anything.

Yea he was doing some instagram live thing just before and he shut the screen off not knowing that it doesn’t automatically also shut instagram off so it was still running and picking up audio while the phone was in his pocket. Absolutely hilarious.

Tom Holland and Mark Ruffalo are almost always sent to interviews with fellow actors that can usually wrangle them away from spoilers. But they're usually too quick! :D
Incase you guys see this. Achara was right, Mark had just been live, and thought he properly ended the live before going in, but did not.
Actually if you look at Ruffalo, he was gonna say half of them die, but he said everybody dies. He thought he gave a misdirect lol
actually, he does say half at first. He goes "Half- uh..everyone dies", but Cheadle still heard the half part and that's why he did the "Dude!" thing.
sad part is, we don't know if that half bit was said so quietly that nobody else would've noticed, because you *really* have to be listening carefully to hear it, or be wearing headphones. Because that's how soft spoken it is.

By revealing the name of a character, we can google the name and it will tell us whether it's an ally or a villain, what kind of hero/villain, even their backstory so we can guess to what extent of accuracy will the MCU draw from the comic. Names of new characters in MCU are really considered as major spoiler.
