Oh man. This is Ogre Battle 64: Person of Lordly Caliber. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ogre_Battle_64:_Person_of_Lordly_Caliber One of my all time favorite. It's part of the Ogre Battle/Tactics Ogre series. Half the series is the standard "move individuals around a small grid" system. Ogre actually did it first and Final Fantasy Tactics took it from them. And that was the second system. The first game in the series and 64 used this larger scale war simulation system where you move entire units of up to 6 characters around a huge map and the combat is automated based on their placements in the unit. The game was made by a company called Quest, which was bought and absorbed into Atlus, with its members scattered, so it's unlikely there will ever be another one, which makes me sad. But if you like long, very techincal strategy games, I DEFINITELY recommend checking it out.
it's certainly dated by today's standards but during my childhood I absolutely loved the N64 game called Body Harvest! I thought it felt great that you could hop into vehicles and drive over large insects. It felt like a kid friendly version of the movie Starship Troopers

Its so weird to think back to the commercial VHS tapes, which had material of games which never came out, like the original Conker, Donkey Kong Racing and such.
I'm glad they didn't make Perfect Dark a 3rd person shooter.
10:00 Reminds me of Fire Emblem 64! Which presumably turned into Path of Radiance years later.
I'm sad about the Robotech story I was really looking forward to it. Looking at pictures of it from E3 in my game informer over and over.
DrSnipe83 it was made in america so it was going to be garbage
just want to say that this morining, i wake up with a bad fever and feel really down. Than a new video from you guys showed up. Thanks for indirectly make my day better DYKG
Fingers crossed for "N64 Classic" coming out soon!
@WhinyDogFish NES Classic is a miniaturized version of the NES console, essentially a little bigger than a Raspberry Pi with pre-loaded games, but nowadays can be hacked to add more games.
Love beta / scrapped titles. So interesting. Awesome video!
If Earthbound 64 was released, I would play that and show it to my wood shop teacher because he's a huge fan of Earthbound
That's super cool to have a teacher that loves Nintendo games. :D
No one cares
These kinds of videos always make me sad. I want that Pokémon game, Velvet Dark, Mario 64 2, and even Riqa.
2:09 I thought they would show this
Man, I'm so glad there's finally a video on my favorite series... Game! And it features my favorite TH-camr, Person!
Can you talk about cancel games on GameCube, Wii, Wii U, Switch, NES, SNES, PS3, PS4, PS5, PS1, PS2, XboxOne, Xbox, and
Xbox 360?
Having a Pokemon RPG on the N64 would have been awesome! Imagine having Pokemon Stadium like battles on the big screen but now with Pokemon Legends Arceus seening Pokemon on a console is still a dream come true! Still waiting for Pokemon Stadium 3!
Can you do a video on GameCube and Wii games?
Is there anything that screams "Canceled n64 game" more than "A 64dd game where you could get news about horse races"
Nintendo: New Mario game on the 64!
Luigi: Am I a joke to you?
SUPER MARIO WARRIORS lol!
I wasn't expecting the footage of Kimba in 3D to be so cute!
Some games looked pretty cute on the N64. Even when Dinosaur Planet (Star Fox Adventures) was being developed for the N64, Krystal looked cute in the games engine.
Where's yoshi's tax fruad
Sir rays Knows alot and Waluigi's taco stand
Never expected a cancelled Kimba game to be here, though that would be interesting.
The title sounds like what they'd release for April fool's
orgy57 so does the description
I definitely will subscribe if you're gonna do more [Game/Subject] videos! [Game/Subject] is my favorite [Thing]!
That feeling you get when hearing the super mario 64 Select Menu music 💯❤
Looks like this one was uploaded before someone got around to fixing the title, haha.
I'd love to see a video discussing every cancelled Virtual Boy game
I was looking for any Fire Emblem 64, darn. its weird seeing people talk more about Advance Wars then Fire Emblem sometimes.
Fire Emblem 64 became Fire Emblem [6] The Binding Blade
Fe is shit
@@claudiobizama5603 Sort of. Character designs and plot concepts like Roy's design or Idunn being the titular "Maiden of Darkness" made it into FE6. Then you have the fact that Roy's prototype name was "Ike," I think some remnants of FE64 may have made it into Path of Radiance.
Of all the games listed in this video, I think the ones that interest me the most would have been Velvet Dark and Riqa.
Those intrigue me more than Mario 64 2.
That Monster Dunk game sounds pretty cool. I don't know if I would have ever bought a copy though.
Did you know? Episode whatever: G A M E
I definitely will subscribe if you're gonna do more [Game/Subject] videos! [Game/Subject] is my favorite [Thing]!
Top 5 N64 games:
5. Snowboard Kids
4. Perfect Dark
3. Goldeneye
2. Majoras Mask
1. Ocarina of Time
I din't see the video yet but i hope you will talk about kirby bowl 64 and air ride !
I remember Survivor: Day One looking pretty interesting.
I'm beyond immature, I thought he said "F-18 Super Horny" at 15:41
Damn, Monster Dunk sounds like it would've been coolest game ever!
"Here's Jordan, he's going up for the jam.... oh no, it looks like Scottie Pippen has been sucked through a wormhole! That leaves Frankenstein wide open for the easy slam."
Hi, unrelated question, do you guys keep a list of the background music you guys use for people to see?
I find it funny how many games were rumored in magazines back then that literally never went beyond that.
What about Glover 2?
The moment Cyrstal Dreams was mentioned, I was like "Hey, I played a ROM of that back in the day!" That game was surprisingly complete
My favorite console that I've never owned
I remember seeing a "coming soon" article in a magazine for Robotech 64, around the time I first started watching the show in america, I was excited to play it despite not owning a N64, but it never happened and I haven't thought about it for decades until just now XD
Anyone know what game is at 10:44 ..?
I checked NintenDaan's Channel and couldn't find it
I appreciate it ..!
I will most definitely check it out , sounds like it checks off most things I love about Strategy RPGs
*_:)_*
it's certainly dated by today's standards but during my childhood I absolutely loved the N64 game called Body Harvest! I thought it felt great that you could hop into vehicles and drive over large insects. It felt like a kid friendly version of the movie Starship Troopers
"Water, earth, sky, and air."
*hol up*
*Game - Did you know gaming? Fear. Person*
I also fear Person.
2:07 the name of the game?
Waluigi’s Taco Stand
RIQA was reworked into a game called Rogue Ops.
Super Mario 64 2 would have been amazing! Too bad we didn’t get to see it
Don't worry. It was later released for the DS in 2004.
Masahiro Sakurai that is just a remake
@@GameDomain oof.
Yeah, they really could've done a lot with a 3D Mario on the N64, real shame that they didn't do it.
This video is going to be really big for this channel
