It looks very cool, but I think One Proud Bavarians breakdown on some issues is something you guys should consider looking into. I am thinking about trying to do something similar to William the Marshal. He started life as a younger son of a minor noble with no landed inheritance, became a landless Knight travelling the Tournament circuit until eventually becoming landed through loyal service by Kings Henry II and Richard I and marrying one of the wealthiest heiresses in England, Isabel de Clare, and eventually ended his life as one of the most powerful and wealthiest nobles in England and Regent to the young Henry III. He is there in 867, called something like “Hrofr of Normandy”. In Norway, as a knight of one of the western dukes. So you can play as him once this DLC is out
Regarding raiding : Why not simply create a mandatory return path to the camp for the army after a raid, with a delay before the army disbands? If the enemy army catches you, you lose part of the army and the money. There's no need for the AI to besiege the camp. Moreover, every time the army is raised, the camp should no longer be movable.
The no raiding for adventurers thing didnt make much sense to me for the same reason. I also feel like even raiding a small county that has an army comparable to yours would already be fairly punishing/balanced because as soon as you return to camp you presumably would have to manually spend some of the loot to replenish your army, no?
You can refill your army when sieging which is basically the same as raiding in wartime. And they could potentially add a decision to forcibly seize provisions and gold from a county you are currently in, which would be the same as raiding while at peace. I think they made the correct decision.

Gotta love that music at the beginning. Feels very Spanish. Hope it's Integrated in the game
I can see legends becoming more interesting with adventurers.
What in the world is he saying at 10:28?!
Add a fishing mini game.
If you can’t raid then how does the raid for captives contract work?
So I assume we can only fish at places with water? So not in the middle of the steppe for example without a river or lake?
21:30 Shouldnt there be an option to become an ally with the sponsor instead of vassal? Im pretty sure this happened in history so I wonder why this it the only outcome
holy audio compression batman
is that what it is? I was starting to think they used an AI voice for this ...
Could raiding be implemented via activity, like hunting? There could be random chances at each stage for things to go well for the raiders or poorly, depending on various factors. I agree that loot being carried by the army makes no sense, as the army is the capital.
Can't wait to start as a mercenary band. I will find a great general which can slay 100 man alone to help me then will sleeping with local kings daughters and create my own kingdom.
Looks fresh.
As if my CK 3 addiction wasn't bad enough...another millennium hours it is

I need to swap to play on TV and get snacks...
Question, what happens if your adventurer hasn't come of age yet? Will it be like landed and there will be a regent?
Amazing update, looking forward to the game!
How does language affect contracts? Can I travel as a Viking through lands where I can't speak to the locals?
Can you add the Azores Islands to the Atlantic ocean as an uninhabited region with no inhabitants or culture to claim if we send an army with provisions to discover them. They could make for an awesome region to inhabit given they are European forests mixed with coastal biomes.
Can we travel the continent as a Tourney Knight William Marshal style!?
Yes
Is there a possibility for landless players to join the Varangians? It would be an interesting thing to do if paired with Northern Lords.
