Thanks for watching !
How did the test go ?
@@screwsnutsandbolts a fail unfortunately😅but it wasn't my lack of knowledge under the hood I'll tell you that👍
This is genius thank you
Thanks for watching !
Super sehr sehr sehr gut gemacht
Thank you !
mate i just want to say that you're an absolute life saver, I'm working on my micra at the moment as I cannot afford to take it to the garage today i just changed my brake pads, and would be doing my engine oil, spark plugs and aux belt soon. thanks for the tutorial. also just a question does the micra have a steering fluid? as I havent seen that
You're welcome. No this model has electric power assisted steering.
@@screwsnutsandbolts can you do a guide on oil changing and changine the filter from the bottom perspective?
I already did: th-cam.com/video/ndPvBxXo7GM/w-d-xo.html
My micra has a rubber seal that i cant remove on the brake fluid reservoir
Thanks alot for your video, spetialy for this one.👌
You're welcome !
Even I can follow this
bester mann
Well done
Thanks !
Thank you
Lovely
Thanks !
Very helpful my engine seem to shake abit but everything else ok its normal for this engine ?
Now my screen washer is empty I wanted to top up it and check the oil level.
For the screen washer, there's no cap over the recipient so thanks to your video I know where to find it.
Can you tell me if I can fullfil it and drive without having a cap ?
+ I wish I had the document with all the cars information, but sadly on internet it is hard to find it free, because the car is old, and the few that are available are like $20 but I don't want to pay it because it seems to don't be the document I search. I search a user manual, principally for having a plan of the emplacement of elements,.like where are all the fluids, because I struggle to find them without your video :/
Yes it should be ok to drive without the screen washer cap but maybe you could cover it with something else.
@@screwsnutsandbolts You are a great person, THANK YOU ! 😁
You're very welcome !
Hi there, do you know where I can top up the hydraulic oil for the roof?
Actually, I couldn't find where is the steering wheel fluid exactly. When I rotate the wheel, it squeaks and I was gonna buy ATF II to fix it, but I couldn't find where is the fluid.
The Micra K12 has electric power steering, not hydraulic
I got it but how to fix squeaking
amazing video i just subscribed to your channel - one question. on my micra when checking the engine coolant i cannot see if there is anything as coolant in there must be same colour as plastic (white) I'm in a dilemma
Thanks, are you sure the expansion tank isn't empty ?
Does the Nissan Micra k12 have power steering fluid reservoir?.
No it has electric power steering
Sorry bro if i dont know which cooling refrigerant they put can i top up with others? I just bought a car a few days ago
Refrigerant is only used for the air conditioning system, if it is installed. If you're talking about the radiator coolant like in this video, it's not a good idea to mix different types of coolant. I would advise having the system drained and refilled with new coolant.
Спасибо , не мог найти омывайку
You're welcome !
I want to change the oil in my Nissan Micra 2005 Benzin , two door, what oil should I put in please?
You can get the details at 6:22 in this video: th-cam.com/video/ndPvBxXo7GM/w-d-xo.html
@@screwsnutsandbolts 5W30 ?
Yes I think 5W30 is the recommended oil
The cap off my windscreen wiper fluid fell off! Do I need to replace it or can I still refill and then drive without it?😭just realised it was gone after I took it for a service.
If you're not going to replace it I would cover it with something to stop dirt or debris from possibly getting in there, but make sure it's not completely airtight. The original cap would have had a small little hole for air to get in.
hi, where is the power steering fluid?
This car has electric power steering, not hydraulic :)
What about gearbox oil
It's not really a standard fluid service for most people so I made a separate video for that here: th-cam.com/video/0wfNRjdeh18/w-d-xo.html
Hi my clutch pedal is floppy can it be the fluid?
If it's a hydraulic clutch then it's possible. Check this link: www.chloesautorepair.com/why-does-my-clutch-pedal-feel-soft
@@screwsnutsandbolts yeah check and it's leaking from the slave cylinder...😔
Does the radiator get fiiled with the same antifreeze coolant
The same antifreeze coolant as what ?
Hi, I wanted to ask you, I also have this car, mine is a 1.2 16v 80hp, after changing the oil, I see that it consumes a little too much petrol, what do you recommend me to do, put in some engine oil additives. HI.
I don't think changing the oil should have any impact on fuel comsumption unless you used oil that's thicker than recomended.
@@screwsnutsandbolts I don't use your recommended 5w30 oil from the house
Hi how do you check the gear oil level, please?
There's a filler plug on the front face of the gearbox. You can see it here: th-cam.com/video/0wfNRjdeh18/w-d-xo.html
With the car on level ground, remove the plug and the oil level should reach the bottom of the hole
@@screwsnutsandbolts thankyou
Can you tell me why is my temperature gauge in the car dash illuminated as a blue colour then changes to a red colour 👍
The red light usually only illuminates when the engine is over-heating
And what does the blue mean ? Thanks for your help
The blue light means the engine is cold but it usually turns off after the engine runs and warms up for a few minutes.
@@screwsnutsandbolts thanks for your help 🇮🇪👍
Hi, I just checked my engine coolant tank level and it’s well above the max marker, almost at the top. what should I do about this?
Is it like that when the engine is cold ?
@@screwsnutsandbolts yes when it’s cold
If it has been over-filled, you could drain some of the fluid by removing the reservoir cap and then disconnecting the black hose that connects below the radiator filler cap and lowering it down to let it drain out into a container.
@@screwsnutsandbolts great appreciate the advice! Could I also use a suction pipe?
Yes you could indeed, if it fits down into the reservoir
How do u replace it.
I try to pull it but it doesn't come out
What doesn't come out ?
