- I’m very very excited to test out Igloohome’s latest product, it’s the push-pull mortise door lock. I really enjoy using it. It’s so effortless to enter a home without keys or turning handles. Now I can just the unlock and push the door - all in the one motion.
And it never occured to me that igloohome is a Singapore home grown brand. Because it has such a global presence. Even airbnb app works with this door lock.

Is your gate lock also by Igloohome? Do both pair such that the door one unlocks when you unlock the gate one? How does it integrate within your Homekit set up? Thanks!

They have both metal and wooden door lock. I understand there is a fob key to unlock both door at the same time. But does not do what PY L is asking.

@@madsncakes thanks! I believe you are referring to the Rim Lock, which has no wifi capability. Whilst I understand this is a sponsored post, what do you recommend for a gate lock that has wifi capability and is compatible with google home apps? You can PM if not convenient to share publicly.
@@Pauche1212 I did review a doorlock with wifi capabilities but functions less than what igloohome offers..Especially how dynamic the access is here.
The only difference through wifi is it can unlock remotely through the app. Igloohome is developing the bridge now and it will achieve the same wifi capabilities.
could you also comment on the material that the lock is made from? is the back full metal or is it made of plastic? i know of some other brands and models where the back of the digital lock is composed of plastic and cracks easily after some time of use.
Here’s the answer
The lock material exterior is plastic housing, it has undergone stringent testing, there shouldn’t be any cracks after normal usage.
Thing is, if I move out in future, I don't think I can remove this and revert the door to a conventional key lock, can I?
Possibly with new lock and patch work
In the future u might want a newer technology door lock

Nope it isn’t suitable for outdoors. More for sheltered areas with light rain conditions

6 months. Use Energizer batteries

It has so many great new features. I've always been a fan of igloohome but the design on this one is simply horrible. Love the idea of the push pull handle but should've put a little more effort on the design.
Anyways there is nowhere to buy it
why shouldn't Singapore be able to do it... I mean you have Plantronics :-P
