Hanging the beam that supports our main floor! | Also: Installing main floor I-Joists

Welcome back to Building At The Woods 'Hazelwood' edition. In this episode, we start hanging 40 foot long I-Joists (TJIs) for the master bedroom side of the house and laying the subfloor. We also have a crew of friends come over in the evening to help us wrestle a beam made of LVLs into place that will support the great room floor. Say hello to Nick, Levi, Chad, and Graham! The LVLs are 36 feet long and fit into a pocket in the side walls. They are unwieldy at that length and do their best to get away from us as we carry them around the site. In the end, they end up where they were intended and look like they will do the job for us.
