I used a #10 screw that was 2 1/2 inches long. They are 'Premium Construction Screws' from Grip Right. They have the T25 star bit heads and the head is oversized which gives better grip on the wood than a typical wood screw.
If you are an "intergenerational family" that means you all come from something in between generations. But there is nothing between generations, therefore you come from nothing. I think you meant multigenerational family. But all families are multigenerational. Never try to use a fancy word when you mean something simple, Like me and my family built this.
I Googled 'What does it mean to be intergenerational?' and it came back with this: Dictionary Definitions from Oxford Languages · Learn more in·ter·gen·er·a·tion·al /ˌin(t)ərˌjenəˈrāSH(ə)nəl/ adjective adjective: intergenerational; adjective: inter-generational relating to, involving, or affecting several generations. "the intergenerational conflict and political turmoil of the 1960s" I think the way I used the word fits with the way Oxford Dictionary describes -- our channel is a project that relates/involves/affects several generations. I get what you're saying but perhaps both ways of saying it -- "intergenerational" or "multi-generational" -- would communicate what I was meaning to convey.
Thanks for taking us along.
