Disabled Opossum Lucky Girl being woken up for breakfast.

Lucky Girl, our disabled Opossum, being woken up for breakfast. I rescued her from a hawk attack, by accidentally placing my pickup truck between the diving hawk and Lucky Girl. Her disability is from nerve damage, from an unknown cause. She does have an issue with her spine, according to the vet who examined and x-rayed her. She also had bite marks on her neck that were healing when I found her.

I love how she watches her mom coming to pick her up. That precious little girl feels every bit of love that you give her💗💗💗

I have a baby opossum sleeping in my shirt right now that I found hung up on a thorn outdoors. The thorn was stuck through her tiny pouch. Love your big baby😊

@@shigella63 oh my goodness! she is shockingly healthy. Her wound is totally healed (as if it never happened). Thank you so much for asking. She is 10 1/2 inches long now, nose to rump (minus her tail). I found her at about 8 weeks and she is 14 weeks old now😊

my ratties sit on my shoulder and help me make breakfast for them. they sneeze and snorf when i pull out the garlic and pepper. they try to warn me that its bad bad no good... but i dont listen.
they do like thier frozen bannanas though. good to see big rodents get spoiled love too.
