We literally just bought the 60" glow softbox based on your recommendation and we freaking love it!

Great update on the gear. How do you sell your old gear?

Thanks so much! We have sold most of our gear on Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist. If you want a good price for it you will have to wait for a while, but usually it works out

So very informative your video was. I like how you broke down each one the pros and cons. I have been a Glow softbox user for the past five years and I learned to make sure you store your soft boxes back in the bag it came with. I’ve learned the hard way after i was just tossing everything in the back of my SUV of them getting snagged on stuff and ripped because of my own mistakes. The material they used on their older models would break down and the foil inside with flake off Over the years. but in the past two years glow has came out with their Parasnap line and wow set up time and taking them back down in seconds compared to the EZ-LOCK softboxes that were not so easy to open up on the larger parabolic or beauty dishes. But their line the Parasnap is so much more flexible and durable that it’s definitely a home run. I would highly recommend checking them out. Yes they are a lot more money but they are so well worth it. Love you thanks for sharing

Thanks for the kind words and the feedback! We have kept the softboxes in their bags and always put them on top of gear in the car. So far they have held up great! Thanks for the insights on the Parasnap

This actually WAS a very helpful video. Would love to hear more about your thoughts on the Panasonic S5 IIX. Would love to know how grading the V-LOG out of the S5 IIX is easier to grade than the BRAW out of the BMPCC 4K though? Also would like to know what real world benefits the Red Komodo gives you over the S5 IIX too.

Thanks so much! We have just found that using the Colorspace Transform from V-Log to Rec 709 in Davinci Resolve gets the image much closer to a finished product than that of the BMPCC. So far with the Red Komodo there are a few things. I haven't spent enough time with it to fully review the camera but we have really enjoyed color grading it. The 6k Redraw clips actually edited quite smoothly without being glitchy and there was a lot of leverage in the image. Honestly, there is some of the factor of just feeling like you have a "Cooler" camera as well, that I think somewhat impacts me as a cinematographer but also impresses the clients a little bit.

Was lumens the only reason you picked the nanlite over the amaran 200x? I like having everything in the sidus app for production.

Honestly, we got an incredible deal on the nanlites so I figured they were worth a try!
