    Materials:
    We will need an old tool handle a small quantity of Sculpey premo polymer clay and a bamboo skewer.
    Procedures:
    1. Cut the tip of the skewer diagonally.
    2. Form the tip into a diamond shape by shaving off its 4 sides.
    3. Smooth out all the edges a little bit using sand paper.
    4. Using 2 parts epoxy, lets adhere a piece of aluminum foil in the tip of the aluminum rod. this may support and help the clay to resist the force that we will going to apply in adding the details.
    5. Wrap it with masking tape to secure the foil from loosing.
    6. And let us now cover it with a sheet of clay and seal both ends flat.
    7. Finally adding the scale details by pressing the tip of the skewer working in alternate pattern. 8. Checking and reworking those scales that are not well registered. 9. And let us now bake it 135 Degree Celsius for 20 minutes.
    10. Done, and ready to use.
    And there it is, its more effective when your snake sculpture has armature on it, the armature resist the force cause by rolling. Hope you like the result and may this tool be helpful to you as well.

    Will Apoxie clay work?

    • @LifeofClay
      @LifeofClay  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Absolutely! You just have to work a little bit faster, because apoxie sets quickly.
