I am just honestly so grateful for your posting this video... I've watched deleted scenes from SotL before, but I've never seen these :) I don't know how! Thank you, thank you, thank you! :)
+Autumn Phillips Yes, me too. It's wonderful to see these scenes, the whole story of Dr. Lecter and Clarice is one of the most memorable and remarkable I've read.
+Mrs. Boucher YES! :D I noticed you said "read", and I actually almost started crying... lol :) Honestly, the "Hannibal" television show has, I'm certain, very nearly killed me... The so-called "fan-art" online and other stories published on FanFiction is even worse though... I just have to remind myself every 10 minutes that WE KNOW HOW THE BOOKS END ;)
+Mrs. Boucher I just try as hard as I can to view Bryan Fuller's television show as nothing but FanFiction itself... It doesn't matter how many quotes from the books he uses (ESPECIALLY considering the fact that he gives the lines to different characters from the ones in the books who originally said them), the "Hannibal" tv show will never be anything more than fanfiction, as it is CLEARLY not the same dear Dr. Lecter from the ORIGINAL BOOKS...
@@autumnphillips151 The tv show was a remake/reboot/reimagining, it was never intended to be cannon with this film so I couldn't call it fan fiction either. It was just another adaptation of the novels.
I get that (at 1:32) that the ambulance scene was cut because it looked 'whacky'. I genuinely think that *that* is how an insane person would drive, especially if they hadn't been in a vehicle (let alone a larger one) for a long time! Plus they would possibly have fun by driving "wherever they wanted" in terms of lanes and against traffic ahaha. It's not a bad scene in my opinion.... but it doesn't fit the tone of the movie overall. I'm glad it was cut, and I'm ALSO glad that we got to see what J. Demme was thinking about when shooting the movie. I like the idea of: 'A crazy person driving an ambulance', but I don't like the way it was executed. So, well done to Demme for leaving it out :) Just my opinion :)
2:08 WHY HIS LAUGH IS SO FREAKIN CUTE I CANT-
This is absolutely wonderful!! Thank you so much for posting this! :) I wish they had kept these scenes in the original movie... THANK YOU!
I'm pleased they deleted the scene of Lecter driving the ambulance and laughing to himself. That scene really is silly.
Too much Anthony Hopkins lol not enough Hannibal
I really like these scenes they could have been kept. Also theirs another one with crawford and a dr at the reassignment hospital i like.

Hannibal humming the Irish song 'a pub with no beer' in the ambulance escape
The first scene makes quite good sense. I also like the second one that gives Barney a little more to do. I´m so glad the rest were cut out
Some of our stars are the same, Clarice.
That wonky ambulance drive was unconvincing.

They were right to leave these out.
I'm glad they got rid of all of these. None of them were really good.
why is this comedy?
