- This is our 4X4 self drive safari van tour. We are a family of 3 travelling on a self drive Africa overland safari. We are on the road in Africa for several months travelling to South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Malawi, Zimbabwe, Lesotho, and Zambia.
We booked this vehicle through the brilliant Bushlore bushlore.com and we couldn’t recommend them enough for amazing customer service, support and an really ace truck.
We are the Newbys, John, Tara, and our two little boys Crusoe and Sawyer. We’re a family who are pursuing an alternative lifestyle, and after two years of full time travel we’ve taken root on an abandoned farm in Northern Portugal which we’re renovating into our dream off-grid homestead. We release new videos every Sunday sharing our story, and we’d love for you to be a part of it with us. We called a company called Bushlore who we hired the car from and they helped with camp site bookings. We found it to be a fairly easy and excellent journey.
