I will forever love him for his time in Real Madrid, some of the most fun, exciting and entertaining moments with so many amazing goals and matches. The rivalry was incredible, many great moments and one of the greatest times to have ever been invested in the sport, so much passion, fight and hunger to win with such a direct and lethal team. I was not even that much of a Real Madrid fan before he arrived, but it was hard to not love that direct style of play. Mourinho's Real Madrid will forever be my favourite team I have ever watched. I will never forget that Ramos penalty that landed in Pakistan... People love to bash how his team plays but first if you don't concede you don't lose, once that is secured, play in a way that gets the best out of your creative and clinical players as these relationships develop creating moments of brilliance. In Real Madrid no players were missing, a great cover in front of the defense, he had that solid defensive structure, but on top of that he had those creative and lethal players who he was able to get the best out off. Xabi Alonso, Ozil, Di María, Marcelo, Benzema, Higuain, Ronaldo, he got the best out of all of them. When you look at Roma, who was the creative flare... Dybala, no one else had that magic, so many diciplined but bland players with no budget, thats why Dybala had a free role being allowed to be everywhere on the pitch, they even had to bring in an old Matic from United because they had no proper defensive midfielder, and he is no creative player. If Dybala was not around, usually injured, there was little flare and creativity to get the best out of the limited attacking options, it was soulless, having to rely on that defensive structure. In most teams he managed since Real Madrid they lacked players somewhere to allow his defensive wall or his creative attack flourish, but he still won everywhere even while lacking the tools he needed. I know Bayern fans will not like this but that team feels like a rare case of a team available where all the tools he would want are there to replicate that deadly Real Madrid clinical creative attack, as well as all the defensive assets, they just need that hunger, desire and confidence back, Mourinho feels ideal... caotic but ideal. It would be really fun to see Mourinho join a team that for once that has all pieces he would need to compete once again.

Mou's Inter was an offensive machine, not that he had competition after he lest but his offensive records were only matched by Conte and then Inzaghi. I would argue Mou's Inter was more impressive that his Real Madrid.
@@Jozua86 Again, it was more an offensive machine than anything else. People mostly remember their semis against Barca and the final against Bayern but, and i repeat myself, he held the best offensive records until Conte and Inzaghi finally caught on. This included number of goals and goal average (Mou's Inter average 2,7 goals per match), percentage of won games over the total coached, best trophies to game ratio and although Zlatan and then Milito were far ahead as a strikers every player except for the GK scored a goal in both of the seasons he stayed at Inter (considering all competitions), even average possession was close to 50% over all games and it was Mou's Inter the first team to score 3 goals against Pep's Barca. That first semis was a masterclass in offensive and aggressive play but people remember the second leg at Camp Nou. I know you are not trying to diminish Mou's tenure at Inter by calling it a defensive machine but it is just incorrect. Unlike with Man Utd, Tottenham or Rome, he would be managing the most financially powerful club of the country with arguably the best squad and could pick the transfers he'd want (within reason, of course) and would have a great academy full of talents at his disposal. Internally he would have every reason to succeed and bring his mentality to tournament style football like the UCL without much pressure.

Not sure if Benfica will sign him, but he is interested in it... and a lil detail that probably you missed (or not), was his Assistant manager went to watch the Benfica's under 23 at Seixal. (not sure if he watched a B team game too. So, he could be watching games from the main team and send his assistant manager to watch the younger guys for future prospects (MAYBE... (that was one of the problems, Derlei, Paulo Ferreira and so on, werent good enough for benfica, status wise i guess) or maybe he is just trolling us XDDD
I said that to my friend Eduardo a month ago… as you said and very well it’s strange to see Mourinho at the estádio da Luz… and the funny thing is Mourinho assistant was in February watching the Benfica u23 to add to your suspicion… good work rabona 👍✌️
Porto fan here. I understand him going to Luz and Alvalade to see some matches. If he takes any of those jobs, it will be the darkest day in my football fan life. It will just suck
Not talking about the Porto job is, for me, a crucial point not covered. With Pinto da Costa constantly tying Conceição's continuation to him winning the election and the poorest of performances Porto has fielded in living memory, the Porto job is more than open. And although Mourinho is not a portista ( he has only one true love, Vitória FC), he holds the club dear and has lots of simpathy for Porto. And, of course, Mourinho is legendary at Porto, even having a statue in the museum. Also, he could be at the Luz all the time to spy and prepare for the Porto job next season, who knows?
The board fucked Nagelsmann and Tuchel - and even Pep was always unhappy with them. Mourinho would be fucked also. What Bayern needs to decide is what it wants to do strategically as a club and cut out the egos in their administration - not hire managers and change their minds after half a season or a year.
@thehorde4868 bayern doesn't play defensive football, nor should they. Bayern is one of the only clubs with a strong identity, which is weakening in recent years, but if Tuchel isn't working, Mourinho definitely wouldn't. The "Mia San Mia" identity is to dominate and not to care what anyone else thinks. It translates to "we are who we are"
I´m benfica fan and a mourinho fan, with all his flaws i admire his drive and football. That said, he always does that when sacked, comes to portugal sees a few games, the man like football it would be very dificult to hire him

nothing is impossible, but i think that mourihno is looking for the next big job. in this summer some big clubs will need a new coach, like chelsea. and national teams. so he is probably waiting to see how things play out.
Do we think there's any chance he is angling for the Portuguese national team, and just building up his profile back in the country as a first step? I agree that Benfica seems the more obvious subject of his interest, but he's always left the door open to managing the national team one day!
If Mourinho ever manages Portugal seleccion team ir Will BE the sart of a sad era até Portuguese nacional team. He Will BE focused at Benfica and Porto players. best nacional Youth team Sporting Will BE forgothen.

How old are you? I'd be very surprised if you were old enough to watch Madrid in 2011. They may have played some decent stuff as they had some fantastic players but those adjectives you used makes me think you only know this stuff from some articles you read
Mourinho was also spotted in the Riyadh season watching AJ Vs Ngannou, and was also spotted at the NASCAR 🤔. Maybe he is also planning to take over in those sports.
Seems that the guy is enjoying his free time and going to the matches. People really like to speculate everything nowadays xD Leave the man alone... jesus... why would he even go to any Portuguese Club? He has Bayern in desperate need for a coach...
If he wanted to enjoy his free time, he wouldn't go watch Benfica right now.😂 Nah but honestly, anything can happen. While Bayern could be possible, I really can't see it happening for the reasons I listed in this video.
The evidence that he is willing to become Benfica's manager is solid, but I'm not really sure it is the best option. Sporting has been doing a very consistent work since 2021 and though this season's Gyokere's effect did exist, I don't think it explains it all. If I were him I'd probably prefer becoming the Sporting manager. Benfica may have more resources, but it seems to be a much more shaky structure.
Mourinho is kinda burned everywhere else, and i feel like Portugal somehow, could potencially make sense for Mourinho again. Both Sporting and Benfica will be in the champions league next season, both are very well structured clubs, with great players and bunch of talented youngsters. Mourinho could easily be part of a great champions league campaign, just enough to be on the giants lists again. Having said that, Mourinho does have a reputation to keep, i can see him taking the position in the national team in the future, not sure if he wants to risk his unanimity amongst his fellow contrymen. But i´m sure Sporting and Benfica will try hard to sign him next season.
Considering that Mourinho won an European trophy everywhere he went and with Benfica still being cursed out of any. Him ending up there would be perfect IMO.
Alan Shields Hamilton South Lanarkshire Scotland. Personally I think Mourinho will be @ Newcastle United next season, even though as a Chelsea fan I am despite for him to come back to The Bridge. I think he is looking at transfer targets for Newcastle United in Portugal that can fit in with his football philosophy. I am a fan of Jose Mourinho, as a person he is confident without being arrogant in my view, though for sure he walks very close to that line at times. I always felt at my club Chelsea he had a good balance between structured football & entertainment I am happy to win 1 - 0 or 2 - 1 if the game dictates that as a nesasery evil as sometimes in football will happen. Personally, I think Jose Mourinho has lost something along the way ever since he was at Real Madrid, I dont know why ar times at Manchester United & Spurs I thought he looked like he was on the verge of a metal crackdown I did not see loads of him af press conferences at A.S Roma so I cant comment on that. In terms of Newcastle United I fully expect when the final whistle goes in the final game of Newcastle United's season for Eddie Howe to be given his P 45 & told there is the door use it Eddie, the guy, is just not up to the standard now required at Saint James Park in my view. The only other possibility in my view is after The Euro's Jose Mourinho becomes Portugal manger in his last big job in football. Keep Safe.

Benfica would be an excellent job for him. A winnable division and cup, European football and while Benfica are a massive club they're out of the spotlight enough for Jose to rebuild himself a bit. Would be box office stuff
Imagine he was actually scouting his main opponents for next season, as he prepares to take Conceição's job at F.C.Porto.. 🤯
I don’t know why but i always love hearing your videos while playing fifa it’s like a good competition!!! Need more videos!! Keep it up bro
Mourinho will be the manager of FC Porto again if André Villas Boas sucsefully gets elected
Awesome coverage.
I think having someone as high profile as Mourinho in the league will be great. Our football federation will come under the spotlight a bit more and have to improve. I hope anyway!
Mourinho scheeming is something I will never get tired of.
Mourinho's just chilling man
Mou's Inter was an offensive machine, not that he had competition after he lest but his offensive records were only matched by Conte and then Inzaghi. I would argue Mou's Inter was more impressive that his Real Madrid.
More like a defensive machine with a best passer in the world in midfield and a deadly striker finish it.
I was way more than that on a consistent manner although it was exactly what you said in the most important and memorable games.
Mourinho deserves a renaissance 🤌
You're damn right!
Imagine him taking over Benfica and winning the UCL with them, thus breaking the curse. I bet Rabona TV would take a month-long break to party.
@@freakystley say no to drugs.
Mourenaissance
Damn, I thought Mourinho was just there at the sporting game to support Amorim, as he was once his apprentice
Amorim is not Mourinho's apprentice. Maybe Jorge Jesus's apprentice. :)
@@antoniobrandao7139 well maybe apprentice is the wrong word but he did learn under him at some point
That I am sure of
@@antoniobrandao7139a lot of Mister Jorge Jesus, one of the most underatted manager of all time, i see in him and he learned from his as a player. Especially the pressure and dont let the other team to think and build game
Benfica would be perfect for Mourinho and maybe Mourinho would be perfect for Benfica.
You don't think his ties to Porto would be an issue with that
@@YusufEbr I don’t think so. Too long ago and he didn’t leave Benfica to join Porto, he was fired and 2 years later joined Porto and he always spoke of Benfica with respect.
@YusufEbr Mourinho doesn't care about the Portuguese big 3. He doesn't have a favorite. He took the Porto job then because they had faith in him. He accomplished everything and left with ambitions to never return to a Portuguese club.
why do people hate on Tuchel (not Rabona) , but generally , at Chelsea he won UCL with a struggling team , at PSG he got to the final , at Bayern he won the league last season , as Liverpool fan i would love to see him at Antfield
GREAT VIDEO also Love the costco sweater ❤️❤️❤️
I don’t want Mourinho to go touch the Portuguese national team. Anywhere else would be great. I would like to see him at Torino or USMNT. I think getting him on board USA, with the usual Mourinho run, they might be WC contenders come 2026.
As a Benfica fan, i dont know if he will lead us to success or not. But still, I really want to see him give it a go at Benfica
His wages would be really high, but anyone would he better than Schmidt.
@@Luso00_ He might take a cut but even with that it will probably be a high wage. They’ll just have to manage it
@@Luso00_ you could see that Benfica have more spending power these days. But still they cant mismanage it of course. Like they did with Cabral and and Kokcu... 30 million for each, but turns out Cabral is actually trash. As for Kokcu he is a good player but not being used properly imo. All while signing back Di Maria with a 10million euro salary for the year, who can barely help a broken team to success. He needed the team to be ready when coming back
Mourinho already "learned german" before he went to Roma and I can tell you that the chances of Mourinho in Munich are 0%, that's even an optimistic estimate. He doesn't fit the club. Plain and simple. Bayern would never hire him.
I’ve been waiting for a video on this and you did not disappoint
I'm all for Mourinho managing Benfica. He might finally break our European curse.
I'm mostly waiting for the day he finally accepts a job offer from the national team.
Too young for national team he needs a club job

Great intro, drew me right in!
Glad I’ve subscribed 🤝🏾
If Mourinho goes to Chelsea and wins the league or the champions league within the next 2 years. Mourinho will be the greatest manager ever.
The way Mourinho left Sporting with Sir Bobby Robson was very abrupt. Sporting was in first place and they were fired without any real explanation. Porto took them in and ended up winning the league.
I doubt Mou would go to Sporting
If they paid him enough and promised millions for new players, backed by Banco Espir...Banco Novo, he might consider it !
@@lino222 Mou doesn’t like Sporting, he never bought players from Sporting. Whatever happened back then with Bobby Robson was personal and he never went back
Benfica would be a good move since they atleast have the money to splash abit on transfers
I doubt Mourinho holds grudges like that, especially when there are different board of directors at the club right now.
@@camposnw10Mourinho still calls Sir Bobby "Mr Robson" and speaks nothing but good of him. Where did you get this "personal" nonsense from?
He's just enjoying football and especially life back in his familiar Portugal. It's beautiful to see a guy this age still enjoying the game.
Not everything has to be some Game of Thrones scheme
6:38 Cheers for making me look up "Mandela Effect', that was quite interesting. :)
If he is not taking Portugal to the next world cup, I want him to try doing a Treble for Bayern like he did with Inter. Also, it would make things spicy to see him take on Xabi Alonso's Leverkusen
i hope he comes to porto, i cant bear to watch conceição fuck up and lose to estoril 7 times in a season
conceição Is a good manager what are you talking about. He was able to shut down the best attacking team in Europe( Arsenal) you don’t know what you have till you lose it
@@walterdavies2984 you probably saw just those two games. If the best Porto does in a year is to "shut down Arsenal", then it won't be enough for the fans. They are used to much more than that. Porto has been on a continuous low form in the Portuguese league, that alone is enough for many Portistas to want Conceição out.
@@HomemdaFaina best porto did was beat benfica 5-0 that one's not too bad
@@aurumcaelobro look where we are in the table we might finish 4th

Why isn't he eying the Porto job? Sergio Conceição is also not doing a good job this season and Mou has a history with Porto
Adrian, you missed the greatest title card 'BAYERN MOU-NICH'
Not sure if Benfica will sign him, but he is interested in it... and a lil detail that probably you missed (or not), was his Assistant manager went to watch the Benfica's under 23 at Seixal. (not sure if he watched a B team game too.
So, he could be watching games from the main team and send his assistant manager to watch the younger guys for future prospects (MAYBE... MAYBE)
In another line, he might want to finish where he started (before going with National teams) go to benfica and try to make what he wanted, now benfica has the possibility to get some decent players and not afraid to go get some non famous ones... (that was one of the problems, Derlei, Paulo Ferreira and so on, werent good enough for benfica, status wise i guess)
or maybe he is just trolling us XDDD
Maybe Yes…R.Schmidt to Bayern M. and J.Mourinho to Benfica…Maybe he can finish the Bella Gutman curse
I said that to my friend Eduardo a month ago… as you said and very well it’s strange to see Mourinho at the estádio da Luz… and the funny thing is Mourinho assistant was in February watching the Benfica u23 to add to your suspicion… good work rabona 👍✌️
What about Ajax? Or the turkish national team? Would be a good fit for both imho.
Bayern and Mourinho would be a disaster lol
Why?
Bayern board is a total mess, Im with you on this one. idk if Mourinho would like to work with them.
It translates to "we are who we are"
@@mikexstad1121 then why hire Tuchel though, even before Nagelsmann, they hired a defensive manager who uses 5 at the back
The Special One 🔥
Going to Benfica soon
What abt United? He’s made plenty of comments abt them and ten hag is not quite in a good position
I´m benfica fan and a mourinho fan, with all his flaws i admire his drive and football.
That said, he always does that when sacked, comes to portugal sees a few games, the man like football it would be very dificult to hire him
If it’s true that Amorim is leaving Sporting, I wouldn’t mind giving Mourinho a chance at our club. We would probably go further on the CL or even win it or win the EL 🤷🏻
Absolutely no chance we're taking Mourinho
Deves ser o unico adepto do Sporting que quer o Mourinho a treinar o nosso clube
nothing is impossible, but i think that mourihno is looking for the next big job. in this summer some big clubs will need a new coach, like chelsea. and national teams. so he is probably waiting to see how things play out.
Chelsea, Bayern, possibly Real Madrid, or some Italian. There's also the Euro this summer so maybe a couple sackings as well based on performances
Any chance he could be amorim replacement
Mou at Dortmund would be more him than Bayern. Another underdog success story
Is he going to replace Amorim or Roger?
Why did he rejected Portugal national team job ?
Sure... Mourinho needs to be seen at Benfica's stadium in order to get a job offer.
Could you image mourinho goes to benfica and we get Mourinho vs Conceicao
PSG, Bayern, Newcastle.
Would love to deems him at a Portuguese club and repeat what he did at Porto. If he happens to do that, he’s be considered the undisputed most legendary manager of all time.
Love Mourinho, love my beloved Sporting.. I have no clue what to decide right now
I think he’ll end up in Newcastle
Mourinho has something incomplete to do in Benfica!
You are forgetting that Porto coach did say he’s not going to stay. So he might be a option there , it’s a bit odd that wasn’t mentioned
There were some unresolved issues last time so I think that bridge may have been burned.
When Mbappe leaves for Real, maybe PSG go for him for that CL
How old are you? I'd be very surprised if you were old enough to watch Madrid in 2011.
They may have played some decent stuff as they had some fantastic players but those adjectives you used makes me think you only know this stuff from some articles you read
He clearly wants a shot at a world cup with Portugal.
And what about the Seleção this summer? Given the fact that (rumors or facts?) Roberto Martinez is likely to manage a spanish team next year...
Mourinho was also spotted in the Riyadh season watching AJ Vs Ngannou, and was also spotted at the NASCAR 🤔.
Maybe he is also planning to take over in those sports.
His character would fit Beşiktaş perfectly
🤣
Too many top young coaches with no baggage to choose from.
I see a drought of top level managers
If he joins Benfica, it’s about 24 years too late.
Mourinho also watched sporting vs braga, and another matches
Adrian did Tottenham dirty lol
He should go to Chelsea he would trim the squad and kill the laziness and ego
Seems that the guy is enjoying his free time and going to the matches. People really like to speculate everything nowadays xD Leave the man alone... jesus... why would he even go to any Portuguese Club? He has Bayern in desperate need for a coach...
If he wanted to enjoy his free time, he wouldn't go watch Benfica right now.😂
Nah but honestly, anything can happen.
BENFICA!!! its my dream for quite a while!
Considering that Mourinho won an European trophy everywhere he went and with Benfica still being cursed out of any. Him ending up there would be perfect IMO.
Acho que é o momento do Mourinho fazer o que ficou por fazer no Benfica.

Personally
I think
Mourinho will be
@ Newcastle United
next season, even though as a Chelsea fan I am despite for him to come back to The Bridge.
I think he is looking at transfer targets for
Newcastle United in
Portugal that can fit in with his football philosophy.
I am a fan of
Jose Mourinho, as a person he is confident without being arrogant in my view, though for sure he walks very close to that line at times.
I always felt at my club
Chelsea he had a good balance between
structured football & entertainment I am happy to win 1 - 0 or 2 - 1 if the game dictates that as a nesasery evil as sometimes in football will happen.
Personally, I think
Jose Mourinho has lost
something along the way ever since he was at
Real Madrid, I dont know
why ar times at
Manchester United & Spurs I thought he looked like he was on the verge of a metal crackdown
I did not see loads of him
af press conferences at
A.S Roma so I cant comment on that.
In terms of
Newcastle United
I fully expect when the final whistle goes
in the final game of
Newcastle United's
season for Eddie Howe
to be given his P 45 & told there is the door use it
Eddie, the guy, is just not up to the standard now
required at
Saint James Park
in my view.
The only other possibility in my view is after
The Euro's Jose Mourinho
becomes Portugal manger in his last big job in football.
Keep Safe.
Since Amorim will be leaving Sporting, Mourinho could possibly go to Sporting.
Agree totally, I think it makes sense!
He also attended the Egypt super cup between Al ahly and Zamalek in Saudi Arabia
There’s no fan of any club in the world that can’t say shit! About him. He’s capable (and has win) everywhere! In the best clubs and leagues in the world! You don’t have to like him! Although you should… but he does what some clubs, millions of fans wish: to win something.
Wouldn’t mind seeing him at PSG, Liverpool, Bayern, or Porto
he was at vitoria setubal jose home town club he wont be benfica manager trust me the toxic portugal league wont be good for him because he cant handle it...
He was in Saudi a few weeks ago as well
Sporting??
Something on Ragnick will be in order
I’d love to see him at Newcastle to try to take them to the next level
Benfica are not trophyless they won the most important cup this season.. THE SUPER TACA
That would be the least valuable.
