You forgot to mention that it is very important to know what climate zone you live in. For example my channel 'Woodcrest Bonsai" deals with many tropical trees because I live in zone 10 in Florida. At least half the trees that Brussels sell will not grow here. So please, if you're new to bonsai, realize that your best success will come growing trees that are adapted to you area.
@@TrainingBonsai I've been to Brussels way back in 1992! It was large even back then. Whenever I do a video on Woodcrest Bonsai, because I grow so many tropicals, I try to let people know that I'm in zone 10 and that the trees will need some winter protection if they're grown farter north. Good luck on the growth of your channel!
Awesome! I was really tempted by the Kotohime Maples and the Sekka Hinokis, but I had to remind myself that I already have three Sekkas that I'm growing. I need to have patience and focus on them for now and enjoy the process.
“Bonsai” is pronounced as “bone-sigh” (bohn-sai). The emphasis is on the first syllable, with “bon” rhyming with “bone” and “sai” sounding like “sigh.” Banzai” (万歳), a traditional Japanese cheer. “Banzai” roughly means “ten thousand years” and is often used to express celebration, encouragement, or respect.
What's the name of the Nursery!!! Where is i t?? Why do you people always leave out the most obvious questions 🙄 that people what to know. First 3 trees I saw were junk!
Perhaps you should qualify your statement with the word "year round." Not everyone has a greenhouse. Winter protection in our homes is necessary in same locales.
Good 👍
Thanks
I didn’t realize there was a nursery this large that specializes in Bonsai! And thanks for your suggestions for a newbie!
Amazing! Thanks for sharing the tour. Keep growing

Very surprised that Crape Myrtles make good Bonsai..! They grow great here in South Fla. Thanks…!
I have another video on my channel where we repot a large crepe myrtle, in case you're interested.

I apologize for the confusion. Olive Branch, MS, is in climate zone 7b, while I'm located in climate zone 8a/b.
