When it comes to motorcycle content either through photo or videos, most times you are only given the good news or the BEST version of something. Here at Proven Power Cycles, we've chosen a different approach with our motorcycle shop vlogs. And that is to show you a REAL behind the scenes look at what we go through, the issues we are faced and how we overcome those issues. Today is no different. Now it wasn't a total loss of a day as we did take delivery of a Suzuki GSXR1000 and a ZX14r. The GSXR1000 came in for some maintenance, so relatively simple, but the ZX14r have in with a spun bearing which means it'll be getting a factory spec engine rebuild. We are going to see if he'd like to do some performance upgrades since we'll already be in there, but we'll touch base on that in a later video. ALSO, the Brand new zx14r with the brocks exhaust is finally finished which we'll upload a video on that build here shortly so you guys can see how much power performance upgrades can give you on a gen 3 zx14r. Anyways, we have a long week ahead of us with some awesome bikes in the shop and we can't wait to show you it all! Thanks for watching out shop vlog and we'll see you again on Thursday with more motorcycle dyno runs and awesome exhaust sound clips!! oh yes, and we got in an evil swing arm for the turbo gsxr1000, but more on that later!

What would cause the spun bearing? Oiling problem? Overrevving? I thought these inline 4 engines were fairly bulletproof.

Low oil level or contaminated oil (dirt, old broken down oil, etc). Most of the time on the zx14r platform it's low oil level. You HAVE to keep oil level on the higher side on those bikes. It is pretty common to see #3 spun bearing on these bikes.

All this talking… you’re losing me. If you do too much talking, people are just gonna skip through parts of your videos. Break up some of that talking into different sections of the video.
