I have a craftsman . T1600 my problem is I put my drive belt on now I have no brakes and no clutch ..been trying to find a video on how to adjust brake or clutch can't find one the manual tells me to call service tech no tech's 😖 I you seen anything on them
@@BenLewis603 There is a set of push style pins on the bottom of the mower that you can loosen the arms that hold the deck on (2-5, just look for pin instead of a bolt). Make sure you have the mower in the lowest setting for the deck (Usually 1) and you probably have to remove the clutch cable, then the deck will just slide out from the side and you can put your belt on. Slide everything back in, line up your pins for your arms and then you are good to go. You should not have loosen any bolts on the mower. There are other videos for this out there, and even if it isn't your mower chances are it is made very similar. Hope this helps.

Some people do things the hard way.
Did he do it the hard way or was this the easy way? I have to change both of my drive belts.

I believe that’s called a “drive belt” and not a “transmission belt”.
