    “Afghanistan will never be Denmark.” - H.R. McMasters
    Brilliant. We have been unrealistically ambitious about the outcome of our presence.

      BS. People are people. We have learned this through history. Once we took out or scattered the Taliban, what was left was Mafia warlords who survived despite the Taliban. We build water supplies, and they Warlords blew it up. We then rather than address them as enemies of their own people addressed them as opinion leaders and began paying them to allow us to build things for the hearts and minds. Billions in bribes and payoffs so we can achieve things they were still capable of blowing up. Years went by and they held even more power. Once we pushed out the Taliban we found even a more entrenched tyranny and decided to try to bribe it into submission. 15 years of lying by the military that they had things under control. We do not know how to invade and submit a country. We apply the Jakarta Method. Unstable and horrendous countries are put in place. Gen MacArthur did. Japan, and South Korea are examples. We lost our chance and need to leave. Secure what minerals and alliances we need for American Industry, but leave we must. We will get our next chance in the next war with Afghanistan and let's hope we are cleared of Generals who believe necessary evils should be left in place.

    I would like to know who McMaster is receiving an income today, and who he plans to drive an income over the next five years. This may explain why he publicly derided the president.

      Thomas S
      The answer is in the interview. He works at the Hoover Institution.

      Ask why he never mentions the role of the military industrial complex in USA's failed policies, our overthrow of elected governments, our scapegoating of Russia. He is a hack and a liar.

      @@mrniusi11 Why be so hostile to someone with a different opinion. He probably doesn't see those things as true or as a minor issue.

      If you had watched the video before commenting you would see that McMaster likes Trump. He just doesn't agree with all the things he's done because he can think for himself.

    I would like to ask all Trump supporters to consider a State Captital event day. This will be Monday October 12, 2020 (Columbus Day.) All trump supporting U.S. citizens from all 50 states meet at their state capital at noon central time for a 3 hour Trump Rally. Please share this so it can grow nation wide. Thank you in advance, and May God Bless America!

    Our approach to China was hijacked by self interest of American capitalists and by state run capitalists of the CCP. I’d like to hear Peter Navarro and Gen. McMaster debate. Why do we overlook slave labor, pollution, intellectual theft, cyber espionage and monetary manipulation?

  • @andrewbaldwin4454

    The discussion of economic rankings in this interview was just brutal. In 2019 Russia did not have an economy smaller than Italy’s. IMF estimates of real GDP on a purchasing power parity basis (PPP) for 2019 show that the Russian economy was 1.74 times the size of its Italian counterpart. Russia had the sixth largest economy in the world and the second largest European economy after Germany. Italy’s economy was the world’s 12th largest and the fifth largest in Europe.
    Pace Peter Robinson, China’s economy will not soon be bigger than America’s. It surpassed the American economy in size in 2014, and in 2019, the same IMF estimates show it was 1.28 times the size of the American economy.
    There are no PPP estimates for defense spending, but it is still obvious that H.R. McMaster’s claim that the US spends 11 times more on defense than Russia in 2019 is way off base. Richard Connolly’s report, “Russian Military Expenditure in Comparative Perspective: A Purchasing Power Parity Estimate”, tried to estimate PPP-like estimates of defense spending for major countries. In 2018, Russia was the fourth largest military spender after US, China and India. Connolly writes: “Even before the rearmament program began in 2011, military expenditure hovered at a level close to 20 percent of the US level. As procurement accelerated between 2012 and 2016, the level of Russian expenditure reached as high as 35 percent of the US level before declining to 25 percent in 2018.” So even more than 10 years ago, when Russian defense expenditures were weaker than they are now compared to America’s, they were still more than double what McMaster claims.

    If we have a strong constructive alliance with Latin and Canadian America we can match China in population and later, exceed it in productivity, if we do it right.

    What about the national security problem of the manufactured riots of the democrat party

    • @BWreSlippySlope
      @BWreSlippySlope 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Manufacturered riots have nothing to do with Russia. It's hard to understand HR McMasters push for this. BLM was funded by our own American Foundations, Namily the Kellog Foundation. The Kellog Foundation gave three Marxist Lesbians 900 thous to set up BLM chapters in Major cities in 2016 and wait for the Spark. The Enemies of the US are the same ones we had in the late '60s and early '70s. Now the Revolutionaires, supported by the CIA are board members of Turney Foundation and BLM Global including convicted terrorists like Susan Roseburg. The link goes to the CIA, not to Russia. He is a deep state player and needs to explain himself for the lies he is telling. Obama's NSA most likely without Obama even knowing led the Ukraine Coup. Then Blamed Russia when it reacts. However, our EU allies are directly buying gas from Russia.

    China and America is the same system. Its capitalism at the bottom with a fancy political system on top. Its the capitalism that drives the economy and cures poverty. The political system is just there as noise. Now the USA has strict limits on the government which has kept the underlying capilastic system intact for a while. In China they just keep the capitalist system intact because they recognize its advantages even tho they could wipe it out with the stroke of a pen. Nobody in america understands the value of capitalism but its protected by the constitution. So the question is who will lose it first? America or China?

    • @mrniusi11
      @mrniusi11 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      America has no capitalism at the bottom. Red tape has made everything illegal.

    Can Peter Robinson look at my poster of Boston 2009-2010 or my video from top of Prudential Center in 2018 and Hooversplain to me why I am delusional about prima facie observations? I usually begin with those as a starting point. When I get bored, I look at my videos of NYC, DC and northern VA from 2017 on dark days. What I am trying to say circuitously is that my prima facie world view has almost no correspondence to Hooverspeak de jure world views. If Hoover can’t get it closer to the photo and video evidence, can anyone? Ever?

    This was recorded in March...a lifetime ago. McMaster's historical posits may hold truths...what ever they are...but his recent position on the Trump Administration is not all that complimentary. And, he totally avoided Russian/Tump financial dealings which have been taking place for over 30 years. They are a factor. His views are...his views. A debate would give viewership a much clearer picture of the militaristic mindset of our country. And, DOD contracts resulting in trillions in frauds and missing funds "are" a major concern. Bloodsport for Billionaires.

      Keep your enemies and possible enemies close. Sometimes you must partner with bad people to achieve what you must achieve.
      Example: Stalin during World War II.

      This is coming from a moderate Trump supporter, and General HR fan.
