I have one story that’s been bothering me for a while now, the old buffet cabinet that your family member insisted u have, u didn’t want…she brought it to u and while it was in your garage, y’all started hearing voices and laughing. I know u got rid of it quick by donating it. My concern is, did u put a note in it or tell them that it was haunted to warn someone new getting it? Ty 😊 Kelley in North Carolina
@@kelleyhawk6595 I know you aren't asking me. But some furniture isn't as "happy" where it is or who it's with & is fine somewhere else. I just drug out an old high chair & all I hear is laughter. If you listen, they'll sometimes tell you or give you a hint. Plants, birds, critters do the same. I hope it's OK I answered too 😊
@@kelleyhawk6595 well, I never even considered that …the piece belonged to my sister. She’s the one who took it to the thrift store. I’m pretty sure she did not leave a note with it. It definitely is something to consider. I don’t know what I would’ve done if it were me, I’ve had other small things in my life that I did not feel good about and I took them directly to the dumpster, it’s hard to throw away things that are usable that someone else might need but I usually just go buy my gut feeling and there’s been many things that have given me warning signals. I don’t want anyone else to have them either. 🤷🏻♀️

Debi this is Grandma and I’m from Texas. I have watched you since before you painted the couch. I can’t begin to tell you the blessing you are ALWAYS!! There is no one quite like you. Gosh... you got me to tear up with the petticoat story. I needed the reminder of how God will do that evidently. I'm taking notes on your technique and listening, and tears. I love color and texture, and hand made so the way you use color and texture is so inspiring to see. It's cathartic to watch you paint, and then you bust out into the lovely story of God answering your prayer. It just blessed me so much.

Debi just when we thought we’d made it through winter, we had a huge snowstorm yesterday. It was half rain half snow. Oh COME ON!!!! We want warm weather and sunshine in northern Indiana.

Great story. Those of us who love vintage we know the struggle of the prayer. I must say that I do have another prayer when I leave spots. It's that gives me peace for seeing another grab for something I would have loved. I mean it's great for all of us but vintage is truly unique and if u find another of the same item it is rare! . 🏵️🌺 Have a great day.
Debi! You are mastering what you used to say you couldn’t do, this table little tale is BEAUTIFUL. God is so good to us and wants us to have JOY. We can hear the joy when you tell of finding all those petticoats. I’m so happy you found those. By the way, your Mom is well and beautiful now and wouldn’t come back if she could. I have lost very close family members as well as my mom and they are all in heaven. I didn’t want them to go, but I know they are where they longed to be. You are certainly teaching me to look at "ugly" furniture in a whole new light. The furniture piece for this project - I would have probably thought wouldnt work with anything and left it. Turns out it was perfect for what you did to it. I love the potential in most anything so I need to stop looking for the perfect piece to work on and MAKE IT be the perfect piece. Where ii live it's really expensive to get your paint, but I finally got to try some after years of watching you!. I've been painting furniture for 30 years, long before Chalk paint existed, and I have to say that I just love your paint!!! In fact, it's so awesome that I ended up doing an ombré accent wall that I hadn't planned for! I didn't want to stop😅! Thank you so much for creating the most incredible paint!! ❤️🥰

I 100% agree with your explanation to why he answers the prayers he does- I have thought about this a lot myself. I too have had him answer very specific prayers that were purely just some small little joy for me. I believe it’s his way, as you basically said, for proving his existence & love to us - he wants us to be close to him & to rely on him in our lives - it’s his will for us to be close to him & answering prayers like this is the most effective way for us to truly know things without a doubt. For some of the bigger stuff that goes unanswered, I believe his word reveals his plans to solve & undo the bigger problems we have faced, & just that time hasn’t arrived yet. But being able to answer these smaller requests is what can give us the hope, confidence, & patience in him to stick around with him until he undoes all the tragic things that have happened. I love your stories so much!! I’m so glad you’ll have time to make more videos now that you’re back to your smaller shop. ❤

When we live in Austin I did Roundtop both spring and fall every year since it started. Some crazy times with my creative friends. 6 people piling into an RV for 2 weeks. Gypsies all of us. Another masterpiece my friend! am working on a piece for a client and I hit an artistic block. I came here for inspiration and you did not disappoint. She loved this table that I did, but she was looking for a dresser and I didn’t know how to incorporate the elements of the table she liked into the dresser she picked and this video just showed me the way forwarded. Hi Debbie,my name is Lorraine l am from England, l love your videos a tip for you 90 percentage rubbing alcohol strips wax off furniture . You use a scotch bright for doing dishes and alcohol. It strips dirt and wax off the furniture so it makes old furniture look clean again because it cleans it and you can rewax or repaint without fear of painting over wax hope this helps you love you lots Lorraine xxx❤️❤️❤️😘🤗

I’m definitely more of a neutral girl, but I love watching you create with colors. I’m also loving the close-ups and longer clips of the finished pieces. It seems your older videos didn’t give much footage of the end product.

I've used your Anthropology inspiration to make a chest of drawers and your technique for indenting clay with script to cover another chest of drawers. You are so inspiring and watching you grow from strength to strength is beautiful to watch. This piece using colour, shade and highlights is stunning! I thought you had some new super 3d moulds when this video opened but you created the depth with paint. From your furniture to your videos and their stories you are a true artist through and through Debbie, and you are inspiring all of us to no be afraid to channel our inner artists. Your work is just beautiful x
Thank you❤ I did layer some of the moulds on top of each other and I curled the leaves up put tape behind so they would dry 3d and painted with white glue to strengthen them. I forgot to show this much . I will address in a future video. If you go back and watch, you can see parts of me doing this it’s hard to include it all and this is the result of editing at 2 o’clock in the morning. 💜💜💜
