Naturia traptrix works really well I've found, I made a deck with it recently and I really enjoy it despite it living or dying on what starting hand you draw and if they negate your floodgate or not. Especially the fact you can work in forest crown beetle and vernusylph.
So true what he says about Ariseheart. Joschua Schmidt just said in a video how he lost to Ariseheart alone with Labrynth, even tho he used Ash and Evenly and had 4 hand cards left. Ariseheart defintely needs to get banned sooner or later, no discussion about, its way too strong for a single card. Same with Kahstira Birth.

Honestly? For a 250th YCS the wide open anything can happen kind of format is really hype. Im personally just glad that only a few of these decks have super unfair interactions. No scythe lock/barrier statue or archlord krystia deck being around makes it really enjoyable. The unfair decks out there have clear counters as well. Despia does not gimmick lock you game 1. For kash combo there are Lancea, Droll & Nib, and there is shifter in case of Dark world. If you play a good versatile deck you don’t need dedicated preparation for everything if you know what the ~15+ decks do. I like that.
If they really wanted to go that route for gate guardian, I feel like they could’ve just made them unions. There’s lots of good union support, exsisting archetypes and established combo lines, having the mix of newer gate guardians that can tag in and out of different union variations would’ve been really cool

Not really just hit diablosis and then semi limit the frenrir and limit the unicorn if you ban there boss monster the deck literally serves no purpose
