    • How To Clean Heavy Bra...
    Removing heavy brake dust from wheels can be a difficult task. In this video we show you how to remove heavy brake dust from your rims with an easy to use wheel cleaner. Without proper wheel care, abrasive brake dust and road grime can corrode and damage wheels over time.
    OEM BMW wheels, like many others, are known for having heavy brake dust, luckily Sticky Gel is safe for OEM finish wheels as well as custom aftermarket wheels.

    "Heavy" brake dust means almost black wheels not wheels after a week of daily driving. I remember taking off my wheels from car and the barrel of each wheel was layered in HEAVY black brake dust to where I couldn't see the aluminum finish - just pure blackness.
    Show us wheels like that and I might buy your products. Hell, you could go to the junkyard and get wheels from there and clean those up.

    Clean a genuinely dirty car. Stop cleaning clean cars to show off your products.

    Love this product and your Butter Wax. All I did was spray my rag and clean the brake dust about 4months ago. I haven’t had any brake dust since. Maybe it put some kind of coating and the brake dust is not sticking to it. Love it! Thanks!

    I love this product for my wheels. Ppl that r saying that this wheel is clean n that their products cant handle it r lazy. Im sorry but ive used many of their products n other brand products. Sometimes u just have to find the way of working WITH the product so u can get a good result. My wheels had been seatn for 9months without washing or anything n i used this product n a few of their brushes with some tlc n my wheels came out beautiful!

    It will most likely be a new form of technology that we will use to clean cars in the future. Maybe gravitational, nuclear, thermal motion, laser, elastion or chemical or maybe a combination of those types of potential energy.

    For a expensive car what would be better? Using a brush to clean the rim, or a microfiber cloth?

    • @scmacintyre
      @scmacintyre 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I personally don't think it matters. As long as you're using a medium to soft bristled brush it won't damage your rims. A microfiber cloth would get so dirty you'd need to throw it away after you're finished with it whereas a brush can be reused.

    Need to take the wheels off if you're serious about removing brake dust, regardless of the product.

  • @BillyT531

    Cock and turn the wheels if you are trying to effectively clean the fender liner. Wheel did not look that dirty and I'd be curious to see a video with some REALLY baked on carbon or brake dust.

    • @scmacintyre

    I have to agree with many of the comments. I really wish your videos had actually dirty cars. I’m ordering some of the products, but some of the videos are actually a turn off.

    My God At this rate it would take you a week to detail a car.

    • @ChemicalGuys
      @ChemicalGuys  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for watching the video. A typical detail takes about 2 1/2 hours to complete. Pressure washing the tires and exterior really doesn't take too long, it's more in the set up( preparation is key). You'll get faster the more you do it.

    My wheels were immaculate when I left for work this morning and 22 miles later they looked 10000 times dirtier than those wheels. By the time Wednesday comes when Ill get a chance to clean my car again they will be much worse still. Don't show videos implying very dirty cars are used as they never are.
