Hey Justin, Great video and review of the new ELRS long-range module. I have just switched to ELRS and I purchased the Boxer radio, I have yet to have a problem with it. Thanks again for the video
Well, thats Not the Problem of the ELRS Guys. The Video Guys need to step Up their game, maybe Look Into OPEN IPC, they are serious about Long range and Open source
Justin what is the best transmitter hd googles to get to get the best penatration through buildings behind trees Etc...worst conditions ... I want something better than dji
Hello, can you help me? I would like to assemble an incredible FPV system for RC model cars that could fly at least 5 miles away with my RC. Could you make a video teaching which parts are best and radio transmitters and receivers, also for FPV videos? Thank you. I would like to equip the car with a safe system.
hi, what receiver should I use with the transmitter you show in the video to reach 100 km? Im going to use it on an RC sailboat (DF 65 ) to sail in the open sea
So I’m new to ELRS and I’m planning to get the Boxer, so… if I get this module, am I covered in both 2.4 and 900 band frequencies since the boxer comes with a built in ELRS module? Will these modules work together incase one fails?
Justin do you understand earth curvature at 8 inches per mile squared as they tell us it is, 100 kilometres or 62 miles is over 2500 feet of Earth curvature drop unless you are flying above this height you have just proved the Earth cannot be a globe of the dimensions they tell us, Is this why they took his video down ?
It’s not 2500ft of curvature drop. It’s 8inches per mile x 62 miles of curvature drop, but that drop requires something to be 2500 feet tall to still have line of sight at that distance. We also don’t know the altitude of the wing that flew the distance, nor where he took off from. It very well could have been from a peak and he flew over a valley. We can clearly see ships or cities disappear over the horizon, making the argument that the earth is flat based off of someone flying a drone 60 miles is… foolish
@@RunFreePK36 It is NOT 8" inches per mile that is a slope if we live on a globe / ball it has got to be 8" inches per mile squared for an exponential curve ie : 8 x 62 x62 divide by 12 gives you the Earth hump curvature between the two points = 2'562 Ft we can only fly upto 400 Ft Do the math yourself ... Ps welcome to flat Earth .. l0l
@@mabbs2757 oh lol I misread, but I still granted that something would need to be over 2500ft tall to have LOS at that range. Still doesn’t show the earth is flat tho. We can fly 400 feet (legally) above where we take off. So if he’s on a 2100ft peak, overlooking a valley, getting to 2500 is not a problem in the slightest. Also he’s definitely breaking LOS laws anyway, so maybe he was just flying really high aswell. The point being when there is a plausible explanation that doesn’t negate something as obvious as a round earth, it is ALWAYS preferable to going “the earth must be flat”.
I looked at the manual online for you, and as sadly usual for Spektrum, it makes mud seem transparant. Seems to have Crossfire add-on available, rear shot item 3, "Crossfire Mounting", but does not look like a std module bay, and I see no way to run a LUA via its OS. Looks like you'll struggle, if at all?
Why this obsession with moar watts? I just want a slim fanless module with 100mw, maybe 250mw max. All this cooling just adds cost and bulk for something 99.something % of pilots will never need. 100mW is good for 30km+, reach that and we can talk again.
I just ordered a Radiomaster Pocket the ELRS version, is there any reason I would need this or is something like it built in already? Thanks for any help!
Whoops forgive me. I left a "cut" in the audio. 😄 dammit I am human again.
I am debating BetaFPV Nano TX V2 ELRS Module VS Ranger Nano 2.4GHZ ELRS Module. Any thoughts?
Just bought one while you were talking, you had me at 2W 😂😂
This is for when you want to fly fpv from your underground bunker😂. Definitely getting one. No worries about connection ever.
lol but the way the world is now we might need one ☝🏻 🥹
@@dronecamps sad but true!
Shit 💩
LoL! Perfect to fly my tinywhoop 100km long range...Dammit I have 4 minutes flight time! 🤦
Rflmao! 🤣 I have been a half mile with a whoop. I could still see it tho. ;)
Now there are 3w, you can do their distance tests.
Mind blowing! Thanks! What video system would pair nicely with this? Been awhile for me...

nice 👍👍👍. What is the best video transmitter with the longest range, and at how many km could it work?
For longest range we do like Tbs Crossfire 915mhz modules.
Can it work as a video transmitter?
No sorry.
I think I might go ahead and bite the bullet on this
Radiomaster ranger can be 2 watt tx power as well right?
so Great. Is this compatible with SPEKTRUM radios? (NX series)
Should be yeah
But now how about a 100km video transmitter?
Look at the 6W analog Vtx.
Actually that could be interesting… I’m always looking to improve video transmission
What brand or who makes it?@@dronecamps
does analog VTX get out and back 100 miles ? I dont understand how you get video out that far ?

Oh, and Miles and Km are Not the Same.
What is the name of the device with a range of up to 100 km?
How can I get this kind of range, without breaking the bank, for a fixed wing drone?

M1A2 Abrams should give you a clear penetration path. 🤔🙄
🤣🤣🤣🤣
I'm wondering what happened to the TV you used to have in the background? Did you have a drone gone wild event?
Ha ha should we bring it back ?
@@dronecamps only if the mini computer comes with it? I remember when you first got a new microphone. That thing was an attention getter.
You mean the SHURE Mic?
What about dji air 2s ? Range extendor

Yes you would have both if you get the 2.4ghz elrs Boxer. 👍🏻

Someone needs to test this vs the ELRS 2.4GHz gemini for long range proximity.
It’s coming
Will this work on my Spektrum NX8 transmitter
It will if you have CRSF protocol and your radio can run the elrsv3.lua script in it.
Does it have a module bay in the back?

I do see how NX8 can attach crossfire module
Hello. Is BetaFPV ELRS NANO TX 868ghz compatible with Radiomaster boxer RC controller 2.4ghz?
Yes. Just make sure you get 869ghz receivers to go with it. 👍🏻
