    Jillian Acosta:
Jillian Acosta, a registered dietitian/nutritionist, specializes in functional medicine and the psychology of eating. Owner of the nutrition private practice, The Root Cause Method, she guides clients towards health and vitality in unconventional ways. Jillian believes many of the chronic illnesses exacerbated by obesity are deeply rooted in trauma. In her practice, she collaborates with physicians who administer psychedelic medicine, using these powerful tools as a means to help her clients transform their relationship with food, feelings, and Self. Uprooting what shapes our relationship with food is essential, in her experience, for reversing and preventing chronic illness, and can lead to true embodiment, fulfillment, and deeper connection.

Imagine a world where everyone understood how sacred our women our are, how our children look to their mothers for regulation, where our women are so held and protected by our men that they have the ability to step fully into their feminine and love with such power that it sends ripples through time and space and heals our world. That is where my imagination takes me.

    Beautiful talk and valuable information.
I heard you guys ask “I don’t know if you can get this level of healing without medicine”….
From my personal experience I can tell you that is very well possible.
    ❤️Jan

My therapist told me that we have a conference every week, but that the real work happens outside of the conference, i.e. feeling the pain and alchemizing/transmuting it, and I think about that a lot. Talking therapy is powerful and can really bring awareness to how you truly feel about things, even when during the conference, you were so adamant about feeling a certain type of way, you might find in the days afterwards, that you feel differently. It’s been a constant breaking down of beliefs that I’ve held for so long, which actually don’t serve me and aren’t even what I truly feel in my bones. Expressing that and being witnessed, as well as witnessing an external response to the expression, has actually shifted a lot for me and it continues to. It becomes easier to be truthful with myself on the daily and accept how I truly feel, in order to release the old and out of order, and find new ways of functioning in the world that feel more aligned to who I am meant to become.

This episode just blew my mind wide open! So much of what was shared is mirroring similar experiences I am having… I had a profound realisation about a deep ancestral shame pattern and lack of understanding of how to hold big explosive emotion especially for children. Obviously I am going to be deeply working through this now that it has been brought to my awareness so clearly, do you have and suggestions of how to reverse small traumas my young children may have experienced (totally unintentionally) around not feeling safe to release painful emotions? Immensely grateful 🙏

When I say I loved this conversation.... understatement. So much so I went to check out tickets to Awaken. I saw the price. Not happy but also not completely unexpected. But then I saw the "VIP" package/pricing...??? I mean make your money but also why is there even a VIP section? Are we not all here for healing and connection and oneness with source and all others. Idk it felt a bit divisive/special treatment for those who can and for those can't well enjoy the nosebleeds. Also, I went to Reunion's website....I could fucking cry right now. Apparently, healing is only for those who currently have the means, the resources, etc. The rest of us who are so deeply broken and disconnected that we have manifested the reality of poverty are just gonna have to 🤷🏾‍♀️

37:55 Response - I’ve reached a magnanimous level of healing since both of my parents passed away in 2019 & 2021. Not a coincidence.

I was really liking this conversation until the part where you had like this epiphany about hunting, and then she said "that's beautiful"... no. Hell no. We do have a choice now not to kill other beings for our own nourishment. We simply don't have to do that anymore. And trying to romantize it just because it's what our ancestors did, is simply moronic. I'm sorry, I don't mean to be rude but I just found your channel, I watched a previous video and I loved it, and now here I am so disappointed. You've got it all wrong.
