I towed a 37’ boat with my jet ski one time, can’t say it was happy but at last one time didn’t blow it up. 😂 I am always about big/oversized engine displacement on any machinery. Too your point.
Most jet ski motors since 2003 are 155 h.p 3 cyl 4 strokes.the same block design is stock 300 h.p and with out doing anything to the block to strengthen it can be tuned too 400 h.p safely.the same motors are in 20 to 25 ft jet boats.

A 300HP sea-doo would push that no problem!! Think about most 20’ boats they only have 90-200hp outboards!
