I am really enjoying your Electribe content... I have never used the Ableton compatibility feature of the ES2.. in fact I've never really used Ableton standalone even though I have had the light version bundled with some of my boxes... I do like the idea of working in the box and finishing off the track in a DAW though... do you have more Korg/Ableton workflow videos?

Hey thanks for watching! I do have all sorts of Electribe / Ableton related content on my channel, so many that I kind of forgot what I've uploaded so far lol
But here is another one in which I am taking a slightly different workflow. Hope you'll enjoy it!

Nice work! Sólo se puede exportar o también se puede importar una sesión de Ableton al Electribe? Saludos desde México

Hello ! How can I sync my electribe with Ableton ? I would like to control it with ableton

Can the Ableton Export only be opened in Ableton or can I drop it in Reaper and have it still come out in a tracked set?

Umm I would assume not since it is an Ableton format, but I don't know for sure.. You could however export it only as wav files, and then you can manually import those into Reaper. But you will have to set the channels and all that manually

the notes around the pads could legit be some kind of special edition :D nice handwriting
e: maybe if you have the time you could help me a bit, im thinking of buying a groove box/ drum machine to jam with in ableton, the export functio nof the electribe is amazing for that as I can optimize the patterns after the jam which is insanely useful, but is there something which makes you wish you had another groove box? a bit downer is that you cant transfer samples via usb , anything else like this?
Thank you very much , have a great week!

Hey thanks for watching! About your question, are you looking to jam always with Ableton and a computer, or jam dawless and then come back to Ableton to complete the track? If you don't mind and plan to jam with the computer, I would suggest maybe looking at Push 2, Novation Launchpad, or the Akai APC40 MK2. I like the export feature of the E2, the problem for me is that you end up with samples loops that you can't really change much and still need to add to it other layers and variations.
I love grove boxes for the tactile and immediate experience, and I usually will try to make the all track on the E2, record it the performance to Live, and add parts and layers on top of it. That way I capture the expression and performance of what is possible on the grove box. I hope this make sense and helpful. You to have a great week!

Would be much more useful if Korg made it so that you could transfer the files from the USB..

@@RandomNoiseMusic thanks for the vid .what lead goes in the computor to connect to electribe can u use midi and the adapter u got free with the electribe?

Adapter you get for free with the Electribe. The cable that goes from the Electribe to the computer is a usb cable. I'm not sure exactly how you call this cable, but is exactly like this one: www.amazon.com/Original-Logitech-Replacement-Charging-Master/dp/B01N178L2T/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=logitech+mouse+cable+charger&qid=1618677244&sr=8-3
