Can't believe you survived as long as you did in that first match can't believe you survived that second match at all. Serial Number had a 1625 damage and 973 match score! WOW that is impressive!
Bara's perseverance in fighting without a regular experienced team is phenomenal. I'm so grateful he's doing MWO again, but it's gotta be frustrating at times for him.
This really is a build that screams for single heat sinks, and lots of them. Heat capacity is almost more important than dissipation, as you just can't get dissipation anywhere near how much heat you generate with this thing, so you are most limited by how many shots you can take in a row without overheating.
Baradul is also incorrect. 21 DHS clocks in at 55.5 Heat Capacity and 4.62 heat dissipated per second. 29 single heatsinks is 68.7 heat capacity and a dissipation of 4.65/s. And if you go all-out at 32 SHS, you get a whopping 71.2 capacity and 5.1 heat/s dissipation. So basically, 29+ SHS will start to out perform the usual DHS slot limit in both capacity and dissipation
Yes, but the point was Baradul didn't think it would surpass doubles in heat dissipation - only capacity. But SHS dissipation was buffed a few months back. @@robertagren9360
Heat management level - "godlike" :) great one, this was one of the best videos of this year, and im sure it will be one of the best videos of the year overall :)
Great battles! Both kept me guessing if you would survive. Keep the awesome content coming! Also, love the shirt. I saw The Halo Effect last month. Amazing show!
or better yet, the Cooldown nodes get dropped, as he is only running lasers, the cooldown period is the same as the duration time, and cooldown takes up much more points for the same overall fire rate. Those points could be put into the CoolShot, Skeletal Density, and even Overheat Damage to allow for better uptime.
To get Cool Shots I'd sacrifice most/all of the cooldown, you've only got 0.25 seconds between bursts already, it doesn't drop it enough to be worth the nodes.
Interesting, fun looking build!! That second match...WOW!! OK, got a question for you Baradul. I am on EST, what time do you usually hop on and run matches? Would LOVE to jump in a game or two with ya. The group we usually play with fell off with RL things going on so its been a bunch of random games....(0.o)
The real question was how did Debauchery (AFK guy in last match) manage FIVE assists with only 23 damage before going AKF???? 23 damage! Must have been punching his computer screen pretty hard.
9:31 "Guys there's a push happening" Don't tell us, tell the team. This is my biggest complaint with how Baradul plays, not enough communication. Everything else is great and I really like your content but you almost never key up. It might be TH-camr problems with people spamming voice chat in response, IDK. I hope you're having a good day Bara and know that this is a fairly minor nitpick.
I been paying this game since beta, but now I don't know how I feel about it anymore... I mean like 95% of my games turn into complete one sided stomps now and that's not fun. Anyone else having this problem? Like when I say stomps I mean like 1 to 12, be it win or lose it just kind of sucks...
That's always been the nature of the game. Since the TTK is so low in MWO, you lose a LOT of damage output even if your team loses a single mech. It's not like CoD where a good player can beat half the enemy team alone. You HAVE to have your teammates to win in MWO.
@@Aerowind yea but it never happened nearly this much in the past. Last night I had a game that lasted just over 3 minutes. One lance on my team took out the whole enemy team before I could reach them. I have never seen a game in mwo end so fast before.
That's because a few comp players always group to stomp in quick play, it's always the same people too. They ruin the game, I wish they would quit instead of the rest of us. "Compies" will kill this game by driving off the player base, I have seen this happen in other games.
Legendary Founder from 2012 here. Haven't played in 3 years. Nice to see that all PGI did in that time was changing the font in the game's chat. IMPRESSIVE 👍👍👍 What a time to be a Battletech fan! 💥💥💥😻😻😻
And did YOU completely miss the point of my comment? BTW, did that incompetent pgi balance guy buffed the small pulse lasers he completely ruined years ago? @@kappatalism6969
What an incredibly ignorant comment, the amount of changes in just the last year is quite impressive for a game that should have been dead several years ago
@@fighting2succeed what changes? It's still a repetitive nascar/standing off in the same places grindfest, place your weapons on one side and corner peak joke of a mechwarrior experience.

That's 20 extra heatsinks taking 20 slots weight 20 ton.
Depends if you can carry a big engine, xl350 can fit 4 DHS without using crits and you go faster.

Serial Number in that first match had 1625 damage!! I would love to know what that mechs build was or if they recorded it.
Would appear to be triple LPL and a HAG, most likely a 30.
now i want to know that to :D
And 900+ match score !!
oh my, the Black Knight with shield looks sooooo goooood
The Big cannon. That shoots tiny, tiny lasers. Thanks for the video.

The looks my wife gives me when I'm sitting there shouting "LEGS ON THE RAVEN!!! LEGS, LEGS, LEGS!"
Should drop laser duration, drop 2-3 nodes of cooldown, max range, get that double coolshot, rest in overheat damage
One other factor to consider with single heat sinks is bump in health. Movin
from 20 DHS to 31 SHS is a large increase in health.
Problem I have with the Li Dok To is that almost all of your weapon hardpoints are on that one arm. If you lose that arm, you're screwed.
Yeah, but the arm got more armor quirks in this patch. Your arm basically has a CT's worth of armor now.
@@Aerowindbut the RT doesn't.

I remember the first match...your team highlander got us pin down when were pushing end up getting pincered by your push on the otherside
That was a lot of fun to watch! Love the build!
Reminds me of a certain Quagmire scene from family guy.
Nothing like getting hit with the equivalent of a gauss rifle every half second or so.
You could probably skip the Laser Duration nodes for the 2nd coolshot. They only make the tiniest of a difference with the X-pulse's duration.

Yeah you never go duration on xpulses, its a waste.
It's better to go for over heat reduction for when you slightly go over 100%
Nice build, nice positioning!
low mounts are low...
Ive been there on the second match, allmost useless.Well played, Baradul. Want that mech.
Your energy makes me want to play more MWO
Props to guy in first game 1.7k dmg

Nice shirt, brother. Mikael Stanne is a legend.
This Victor saw a Nova and got _ideas._
I'm excited for the new weapons in March.
This mech will really help a new pilot learn how to torso twist to splash the damage off the arm.
Second game was good stuff!!!
That arm looks like you need to see a doctor ASAP xD
Are you planning on doing any builds for the new black knight? Much love ❤❤❤
Great mech!!!
finally a viable x pulse build
BJ-1X says hello
"What is that?!?!? It is DEAD thats what it is" 😂
A shield left arm would be nice..?
Yeah, I'd stick to running single heat sinks on this one.
So, loosing a torso is death = XL. ;D Lots of crit slots with the multitude of STD HS ^^
The real question was how did Debauchery (AFK guy in last match) manage FIVE assists with only 23 damage before going AKF???? 23 damage! Must have been punching his computer screen pretty hard.
“A talking team is usually a winning team”. Not when two guys are arguing and then kill each other and overheat to death. 🤣
Wow I'm early today!
Not a mech for me. I detest low mounted weapons.
Run it with 10 PPC.
Literally won't fit lol
Mister Fister
I think light engines aren't the way to go with this mech. If you lose the left torso, your cooling is shot and the mech runs to hot without it.
Standard heat sinks, Endo and either XL 325 or Standard 275, gives you about 21 tons to split between heat sinks, sensors and jets.
31.6 dps...
Lol, this build is a bit of a meme. You can overheat in like 4 seconds XD.
