My 2000 R50 got hit in the exact same spot. I accidently went into a tree but thankgod all it needed was the turn signal and headlamp. stay safe out there man
I got the same accident with my 03 pathy and I couldn't drive it for miles so I decided to order the towing truck to take it to workshop and get it back to roads within two days. My fender had little hit which can be fixed in dent and paint. I saved money for getting brand new one.

I picked up a 2011 Impreza for 500 bucks with minor front end damage. A few weeks worth of work and 800 in parts the car is like brand new.
Great video but I'm surprised you didn't get most of your parts from pull-a-part yards, would have cost way less than buying new.
