    Stop sending billions of pounds abroad if you can’t afford it. It’s fucking obvious.

    Higher tax, higher inflation, higher borrowing, higher unemployment, higher crime, higher illegal immigration all in one hundred days. Imagine what Labour could achieve in five years.

    Once the farmers have been forced to sell land, their businesses will be less viable and many will leave the industry. Well done, Labour.

    Don't remember Derbyshire ever being this critical of a Tory budget outside of Truss' tbh. Think Jones handled himself excellently here, hope he winds up leading the party one day as he says it as it is unlike so many other politicians.

    Can someone please breakdown this £22billion black hole? Or a ref/source to an official resource detailing this black hole. Moreover, didn’t labour say their plan is fully costed and now they find a black hole? I’m not any political side but do seek official data about this £22billion black hole.

    Lots of these jobs will be gone by the end of this forecast. Look at one company for example...Meta will be investing 50 or 60 billion just on AI. Next year.

    What an idiot this guy is! His investment is in non revenue earring services and crazy green projects that are somewhat dubious at best, whilst he’s screwing private working sectors.

    • @KyaColosseum
      @KyaColosseum 16 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      Should he have brought all the many graphs he as treasury secretary looks at on a daily basis just in case he had to refute the one that Victoria had in front of her?
      She had one for 6 years and that specific graph very well may have been showing the isolated effect of the businesss NI increase on growth. When put alongside the other measures the government is taking, it shows clearly there is going to be growth, and this is only on the assumptions of budget #1. There are 4 more budgets for this government to make, each one will effect those OBR predictions, and as any economist worth their salt will tell you, economists are not forturne tellers.
