I completely agree. I know that he came from a very different environment, but that said he is not a child either. While the money was flowing and he was part of APS, he welcomed all the money and attention. It would seem now that he's no longer part of everything (his decision) he now wants everything scrubbed. This is APS, not the journal of Danny. He was compensated for his involvement. This is a VERY common reaction of a lot of reality stars (for lack of a better word). They're all in until it ends and they they want everything undone and keep the money they made.

I think that getting married is a very legitimate reason for Danny to take a step back temporarily. It’s wise of him to try to minimize any potential interference with his new marriage. Social media has interfered with many relationships, and I understand why someone like Danny would feel especially vulnerable. Now he must think about his wife before himself. What family man cannot understand that?

He’s not famous or even internet famous not by any stretch of the imagination but he is acting like paparazzi is stalking him or something lol he made all this shit up because once he got paid he wanted to chill and blow everybody’s money they donated to him. Let’s break this down mathematically and see who made more money off who here. We know Danny cashed in $28k or so just from gofundme not to mention random checks and gifts here and there from joe. Now let’s overestimate and say Danny’s videos pulled in a total of 20million views. Current polls say generally Adsense pays roughly $2000 per million views and TH-cam takes 45% of that. So we are at 40k x .45% and joe IF he gets paid the highest amount ad revenue can pay walked with 18k. All of that’s being really generous. I’d say Danny’s videos never made over 10k for aps. Most of joes money comes from merch sales, patreon, and random endorsement deals he does here and there.
Nice breakdown but to point out the gofundme was not contributed by Joe. If people were happy to give Danny money then it should be kept completely separate to earnings from the videos. I expect Joe paid Danny for his contribution for each vid, but Danny rightly suggests that his contribution was valuable and earned Joe a fair amount of money. On the low end 1 million views generates around $3,000 but these vids must be classed as high interaction so maybe anywhere between 10-20k for that one video alone with the 3 mill. Danny did ok and has opted out and fair enough, we don't own him, but Joe has done alright from Danny's input. I don't like the way it ended and I guess most feel the same, but that's life.

He documented his visit with his family and put it up on this channel. He allowed Joe to put up videos of him talking about his life. He also made money from these videos. I donated 10$ to danny on go fund me. Ive been in his situation, out of jail with no job or money, not able to get myself out of the streets. But now after all this time and after those videos changed danny life for the best he wants them down. Joe deserves revenue from those videos. Its his job to make videos. Once a performer does a show and it is recorded, unless it was in the contract don't get royalties or privacy. Take for example Katie Sagal and Married with CHILDREN, she actually BOUGHT the episodes that showed her real life pregnancy and loss after it 2as written into the show. The rest of the episodes are shown in syndication, some where she was pregnant and the viewers did not know, but she does and has to deal with people always asking about it. Kids who did TV have to deal with seeing the childhood relived as seen on TV even if they never signed the contract, but the parents did.

This was a great conversation between men, and many lessons to take from it. I applaud Joe for his accountability and humility in admitting his wrongs. I applaud Danny for rising above his emotions and what he felt was disrespect to have this conversation publicly. I respect and agree with what was said on both sides. Unfortunately, some former “supporters” can’t help but vilify Danny for needing more space, privacy and respect, and that is unfair. Supporting someone does not mean that you own them. Danny is his own man, and has always (even now) shown genuine gratitude for all support received from APS. No amount of financial support can make a man tolerate disrespect, and ignoring a man is disrespectful. I’m glad that Joe has acknowledged this, and that Danny forgave in his usual calm and humble spirit. As of today, I still see several videos of Danny up, and watched about 5 of them.
I agree, I am upset at the amount of negativity towards Danny. People will love the man until something happens that they dont agree with, even after him being as respectful as he can be, then they want to practically burn him at the stake.. it's unfortunate to watch. Joe went on to express worry and paranoia for his safety. APS gave him $18K and he repays it with death threats.

I completely agree. I know that he came from a very different environment, but that said he is not a child either. While the money was flowing and he was part of APS, he welcomed all the money and attention. It would seem now that he's no longer part of everything (his decision) he now wants everything scrubbed. This is APS, not the journal of Danny. He was compensated for his involvement. This is a VERY common reaction of a lot of reality stars (for lack of a better word). They're all in until it ends and they they want everything undone and keep the money they made.

Let’s break this down mathematically and see who made more money off who here. We know Danny cashed in $28k or so just from gofundme not to mention random checks and gifts here and there from joe. Now let’s overestimate and say Danny’s videos pulled in a total of 20million views. Current polls say generally Adsense pays roughly $2000 per million views and TH-cam takes 45% of that. So we are at 40k x .45% and joe IF he gets paid the highest amount ad revenue can pay walked with 18k. All of that’s being really generous. I’d say Danny’s videos never made over 10k for aps. Most of joes money comes from merch sales, patreon, and random endorsement deals he does here and there.
Nice breakdown but to point out the gofundme was not contributed by Joe. If people were happy to give Danny money then it should be kept completely separate to earnings from the videos. I expect Joe paid Danny for his contribution for each vid, but Danny rightly suggests that his contribution was valuable and earned Joe a fair amount of money. On the low end 1 million views generates around $3,000 but these vids must be classed as high interaction so maybe anywhere between 10-20k for that one video alone with the 3 mill. Danny did ok and has opted out and fair enough, we don't own him, but Joe has done alright from Danny's input. I don't like the way it ended and I guess most feel the same, but that's life.

Once a performer does a show and it is recorded, unless it was in the contract don't get royalties or privacy.
Take for example Katie Sagal and Married with CHILDREN, she actually BOUGHT the episodes that showed her real life pregnancy and loss after it 2as written into the show. The rest of the episodes are shown in syndication, some where she was pregnant and the viewers did not know, but she does and has to deal with people always asking about it.
Kids who did TV have to deal with seeing the childhood relived as seen on TV even if they never signed the contract, but the parents did.
They both got payed.

This was a great conversation between men, and many lessons to take from it. I applaud Joe for his accountability and humility in admitting his wrongs. I applaud Danny for rising above his emotions and what he felt was disrespect to have this conversation publicly. I respect and agree with what was said on both sides. Unfortunately, some former “supporters” can’t help but vilify Danny for needing more space, privacy and respect, and that is unfair. Supporting someone does not mean that you own them. Danny is his own man, and has always (even now) shown genuine gratitude for all support received from APS. No amount of financial support can make a man tolerate disrespect, and ignoring a man is disrespectful. I’m glad that Joe has acknowledged this, and that Danny forgave in his usual calm and humble spirit.
