100% Danny should be on a speaking circuit, this man is incredible. You can still see the pain in this mans eyes and yet he pushes on. Incredibly well spoken he paints a picture like no other man I’ve ever heard in this genre..literally got to remind myself to breath while listening.

I'm thinking that Danny should become some kind of counselor. Helping ex-cons readjust, and non-cons change their ways before they wind up in prison. He's an intelligent guy with a good attitude, and A LOT of experience in prison. He could really be a positive influence for many people. P.S., Danny, folks in the real world suffer from all kinds of mental/ emotional issues, too. Your advice was spot on. Wish I had known you when I was young and angry, you may have saved me from a lot of trouble. Thanks, APS, you guys rock!

I disagree. That is one of the worst things that anyone can do. He is this guy's friend. Better to continue just being a friend than go into pseudoscience and quackery. I say that as a survivor from dealing with modern snakeoil pseudomedical/pseudoscience salespeople - aka psychologists, psychiatrists, "mental therapists", counselors, and social workers (dealing with the aforementioned quackery). His friend is better off without it, as is Danny.

Id have never guessed. Our prison system is seriously fucked up and im sure most of the ones who make bank from all of it sit there and say they're Christians doing Gods work. This was never in the Bible to treat people like animals and its not doing 1 bit of good for our country as a whole.

Man reason I wont play card games. Example got into playing spades got into it with a cat we was playing against dude got mad cuz he didnt like the fact I could memorize the deck or cards played count books etc etc. I'm a dam good spades player too almost perfect. Anyway had to lay hands on his ass for the disrespect. This same cat is one id chop it up with and make cook ups with. My first mistake was misjudging his character. He was a live wire. Anyway I learned quick to read people and stop homeboy in his tracks. Dude checked in.

I have worked beside guys out of prison for a long time now and so I think this show is one of the best on TH-cam. I am really concerned about the type of support that guys and girls receive when they are released Danny thank you for this interview. You have been very real and I appreciate all of the information you have passed on. There is a place for you in the community..'Community Development' or 'Service' or 'Welfare' and I honestly think you would be perfect in these industries. During my studies one of the things we realised was that there were not enough males with the type of experience that you display. You guys are really really valuable. God bless all of you completely.. and again thank you Danny. .

I used Danny's vinegar suggestion for cooking meat. My wife hates meat but she liked how delicious and tender the meat had become using the vinegar and water over a slow fire. Better than any restaurant steak or roast I have ever had. I would work for Danny in any restaurant he wanted to run.
It was hard too adapt after 5 years, couldn't imagine trying to find your place after 40 years

Arriving back into the free world filled with Apple iPods, iPhones, iPads and the Internet's social networks must have been very difficult for Danny to grasp at first!

Danny you know what I got mad respect for you man, I'm only 17 but my boyfriend recently got locked up and for the next 3 months I'm gonna have no contact with him or nothing, just information that his family pass on to me and I'm mad curious about what it's like being locked up and I'm just trying to understand how he feels. You really opened up my eyes to the prison life and I really appreciate it, you can tell a good person from a bad one and I'm just glad you had a helping hand from Joe and the crew cause in the end we're all people and we all deserve a second chance. Ya know I rub shoulders with some serious people. And I would be so much more appreciative of a conversation with Danny than any college professor or professional gunfighter or who ever. i have hired work release folks for many years. Some of the nicest, hardest working people ive ever met. has given me a new perspective on second chances. Many of them have become good friends over the years. And that is coming from someone who has never been arrested and has no criminal history. This is a great channel which makes those who have lived in this underworld a person again

prison preserves u trust me i know I've been down before and they do get sunlight just not as much it's lack of all the pollution and all the chemicals we are putting on pur bodies and being soaked up with our skin yes d.o.c can b stressful but a hell of allot less stressful then the outside world would b belive it or not I'm sure that also has alot to do with it plus we tend to take care of ourselves alot more incarserated because what else is there to do (working out sleeping more not drinking and drugs or doing as many harmful things etc..)

What do you say about the American prison system? I’m from Europe and for me it’s ridiculous how the system punishes. I cannot imagine a prison with death penalty, life sentences or such a long time in prison. In general such high sentence for little crimes.
In America they punish instead of rehabilitate. They just throw people away. So wrong.
Europe has an interrogatory court system. America has an adversarial system.
America is fucked
Hi Danny, I've been watching you from the beginning. I know you have a lot of challenges but you do look better, a little healthier & your weight gain looks good on you, too. I hope someone has helped to get the ball rolling to apply for social security disability for you, b/c you need to rest rather than push yourself to work. Also, I hope someone is helping you to apply for anything you are eligible for to help you financial. Most of all I pray that you will find the Living God's mercy, love, forgiveness & acceptance for you. If you have a bible the book of John & David's open transparency w/ God may help you, too.
I have never been to prison, but I would like to meet Danny and shake his hand. He has so much knowledge to share with people. His story should be a lesson for those that are heading down a dark road.

Danny is literally my motivation to do better for myself ever since I started watching these vids and Payin attention to certain things he says I’ve turned my life around, on 6 year felony parole and the way I was going I was definitely gonna be going back and I’m only 19 at the time but I’ve realized that there is so much more to life than the criminal lifestyle been completely sober and started working with a roofing company here recently and getting my own place this weekend much love to you Danny and the whole aps crew have a great Christmas everyone sending positive vibes!
