if this was the case, he could have made this clear from the get go. He only made this VAGUELY clear after he got thousands of dollars from Joe and Donations and a ring on his finger. Transparency is very important and Danny has been everything BUT transparent over the last few months. His attitude and actions scream "HUSTLE" not "innocent and just want privacy".

I see both sides of this situation. Danny admits he no longer wants to be behind the camera. Joe wants to keep making this money thru views. Joe is a business man. Joe wants to continue to put money in Danny's pocket. But Joe has to realize that Danny is not built like Joe. Danny wants to live with his family and catch up with what he missed out on. With out the camera on him. Danny continues to give Joe his respect. For all his help. For Joe I believe the right thing to do is to find someone else who needs help and continue the legacy. Danny is satisfied with what you have done for him and he is ready to be on his own. That was the whole point from the beginning. Help him get on his feet. Which you did and he is grateful. the issue is that it looked like people Donated money to, Danny had a few videos showing him visiting family and stuff, then Danny suddenly wanted his "privacy" out of the blue and gave no real hint as to his return, what was going on, etc.
Contrast this with Dave who recently made a video with Joe and Rabbit on this channel showing his wife's party+ Dave proposing to her. Dave seems genuinely happy that Joe and Rabbit are there and constantly thanks them+ the fans for the love and support that has helped him get to where he currently is in his life. Dave also implies that including the audience in an event they basically helped happen (since we've given him so much support and encouragement over the years to do better) was just the right thing to do.
There is such a gap in gratefulness between these two that it's staggering.

It’s not a trend. People are pissed for giving him money and then him all of a sudden up and leaving with no sign of return. Regardless of the reason he gave, it looked suspicious. That’s why people are upset with him. Now he’s playing the victim. He could just accept that he fucked up and ask for forgiveness. End of story

To be honest it’s not Danny fault, the people have changed, the world has changed. The day he was locked up his life never progressed. His mindset is back 40 years ago. The only thing you have to be careful not to cross a person like Danny
or make him feel disrespected or he will revert to what he knows and be perfectly happy in prison.
I’m sure he is a genuine good man but prison was his home most of his life.

Im sorry but i was a die hard Danny supporter until he started to show his true colors. He acts like a entitled child. The fact that he thinks that the government or APS owes him anything is absurd! He committed horrendous crimes! His CHOICES put him in his situation. Not the government. Period! The fact that Joe and the APS army found you and got behind you is a position in life that so many people getting out of prison would do anything to have! For him to then turn around and behave like he did and make Joe, the crew and his fans feel like they somehow did something wrong is beyond mind blowing! APS doesn't owe Danny anything, I think it's the APS viewers that expected so much out of Danny that when he asked for his privacy everyone took it as a "peace ya'll" or a "later, i'm outta here" - when he really just didn't want to be a reality tv show.

You need to think in terms of years with getting prison out of your head. There is no secret to quickly getting prison out of ones head. The harder you work for the future, the more that helps to forget about the past. Hard work on creating a successful life. This is the therapy. It took me ten years to get prison out of my head and I only did 6.25yrs. I worked 60 to 80 hours a week for ten years. Prison became a distant memory for me.
I never liked Yanni. He always seemed shady to me. Like a sleazy used car salesmen
He spent most of his life in prison of course he will be shady. People can change.. but after 40 years in prison and in his 50s you can't expect miracles overnight.

To put this in perspective, Danny went into prison during the Iranian hostage crisis, before cellphones, before social media, when trolls were something that hung out under bridges.
