Attempt to See Ravaged Key Bridge - #14

Ever since the Dali took out the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore, I get a feeling of remorse looking at digital maps and just seeing a gap where the bridge once stood. So on this ride, I decided to attempt to go and see it for me self. I'm solo on this ride. Spoiler Alert!!! I didn't see the bridge but it was a decent ride.

Thanks for the shout out Bruce! Keep up the good work, you'll make it to 1K. This was another fun video, very ambitious 'mission'. I didn't know there's a way to view the bridge from the north, or were you going to Ft Armistead? (other than the fort I don't know that area at all). My wife and I drove out to Fort Smallwood to observe the bridge last month. It's just a little south of Riviera Beach, looking at roughly 14-17 miles from your area - or 24 from mine. It's just over 4 miles over the water from the bridge.

Hey Forest, you bet. Thank you so very much. It feels like I'm such a long way from 1K. This route was closer to Ft. Armistead but I was too tight on time to go there. I didn't know the plants and refineries would block my view. I'm sure some locals probably knows of some hidden spots or nooks where I could have seen the bridge. But the roads are as rough as the area, so I probably will avoid it in the future.
