- Ebike makers are constantly making extraordinary claims of how far their ebikes will go on a single charge. Because of a bike tour I have in the future, I needed to know the exact limitations of the ebike that I will be riding. This is a long video but it tackles the question of how far my ebike will go on one charge at pedal assist 2 @ 15 mph.

It is Glorious...start singing too....
I love the Benjamin Banneker history. He was the first Black Presidential Appointee.
Awesome ride for a range test! Great talk on Benjamin Banneker, I see you too are a student of history! He was one of the great men from our area. Speaking of great men, I see that around 16:30-19:00 you were getting near BigTeedo_EV's home turf!
Thank you Forest. So you watch Big Teedo too? lol. Watching Big Teedo last fall is what got me into ebikes. He gave the Ariel Rider so many props, I almost bought one - but I needed something with smaller wheels that would fit in my car. Benjamin Banneker was a great man. As I said, I portrayed him in a living history, so I had to learn as much as I could about him and the era that he lived.
@@brucethomas3929 Oh yeah Big T is a favorite. I was watching him and Rus while on my exercise bike during Cardio Rehab. I liked that he does his missions in our area of HC, so things are familiar. That Red Robin he visits is right near where we're going to meet up, and only a couple miles from my home (if you know the trails ;-) ).
@@ebikeengineer Is that the Red Robin beside that Longhorn Steak joint and across the lot from REI? I haven't seen that video. He was near me when he was on the BWI trail and took the wrong turn onto the B&A trail. I was yelling at the screen saying, "Turn right... Turn right!!" LOL.
Bruce I was looking over the tech info on your bike. You could easily add a second 48v battery to that rear rack if you wanted. A generic 48v battery with a blender and at most a conversion dongle for the main battery to interface with the blender. Easy Peasy I did that with my bike this year.
Well that's great to know. I actually have a space in the bike's frame for an extra battery, so maybe I could even add a 3rd battery. 😁
Awesome ride! Super cool seeing you right around the corner from my house ! It's so many food options near the McDonald's up and down Rt 40 lol
Big Teedo! Thanks a lot man! So you're from around that area. You know, from your earlier rides, I guessed you must be from the Bowie area. You've done some riding! I hadn't eaten that day so McDonald's was a sight for sore eyes. Don't think I didn't consider some ribs from The Canopy though. You're right, I've eaten from up and down Rt 40 for the past 25 years!
@brucethomas3929 😅 ok yeah I figured you had to know about all the food spots because you knew about Korean town and the Ellicott City history! I'm praying 🙏 you guys have a wonderful and safe ride to Fredrick and back 👊🏾👍🏾
@@bigteedo_ev4905 Thanks so much! I'm excited and nervous at the same time. But it should be a lot of fun.
I just mentioned he was in your turf, I didn't realize you were also a fan of Bruce. Super cool!
@@ebikeengineer Bruce replied to one of my TH-cam rides with Lori that was near his stomping ground. The rest is history Forest. LOL. It's going to be great hooking up with you guys!
Love Ellicott City and Oella....rich history
I love the EC area too. I always thought that I'd love to shoot a movie there. Imagine my surprise when I saw a Hollywood produced movie shot there in the 1940's.
@@brucethomas3929 Really!? What was the movie, I'd love to look it up and watch it.
@@ebikeengineer Here it is. You'll love this! th-cam.com/video/lqbOrXsi5tY/w-d-xo.html
@@brucethomas3929 Thanks Bruce!
@@ebikeengineer You're welcome!
Hello Bruce I just found your channel and have watched a couple today of your bike adventures. Nice rides brother. May I ask which model Wallke you own because in a video I watched from 3 months ago I believe you had the original H6 750 and in this video you mention max which is the 1000 watt H6 . Did you get a newer one or or is it max range on your original? I have the H6S model myself and like it a lot.
Hi there, thanks so much for checking out the videos. I have two Wallkes. Wallke gave me the H6 750 watt that I won in a contest and the second is the H6 Max ST that is actually 1200 watts. I haven't done a range test on the H6 750 watt yet. Although I like both bikes, there's a lot to like about the 750w. I hope you've subscribed so you can see upcoming videos. Keep the comments coming brother. Thank you!
@@brucethomas3929 I wonder why Wallke stopped making the H6 series bikes. I'm kind of worried that parts and batteries won't be available now. As soon as they put out the dual motor bikes they discontinued the H6 models.
@@acerkrt That's a concern of mine also and I've posted that on their page. I just bought my ST last October and they stopped selling the front battery to it already. But they did tell me where I could buy it though.
Car pulled right out in front of you..
Yeah, you've always got to be on your P's and Q's. Considering all the inept and distracted drivers, we really do need to be thankful that God is watching over us.
2.parts....🤔😂🤣
I was going to do 2 parts but based on past "two part episodes", only a fraction of the people ever watch Part 2.
The directions blocked your town's name
What part are you referring to?
@@brucethomas3929 ...within the first minute....heard it again at the end.... Frederick
Really....McDonald's.....holy cow...$10.78....$6.55...a.little better...😂🤣
😂
@@brucethomas3929 My friend, why did you go to McDonalds when there is a Canopy litterally next door. Pit Beef (or my favorite Turkey) beats a McDonalds burger any day of the week!
