    Great review. Very detailed and accurate. I really like this machine. Its my first Nespresso product. Very easy to use, great tasting coffee too. Bought it on special for AUD $499 "saving" $200. There is a hidden wand cleaning tool under the water canister to clean the 4 steam wand holes.

      Truly appreciate the feedback, thank you. I was lucky to pick up the same deal with the cash back and pod credit so great value for money. I actually recorded cleaning of the steam wand but the video was getting a little too long. The machine has great tutorials that is very helpful. Thanks again for the positive feedback

    Can you make a long black by running the machine without a capsule and then inserting a capsule and doing an espresso? Or should I get the creatista pro which has a separate water circuit and a dedicated long black option in the menu? Do you think the result would differ greatly? I like long black and americano coffee but also would like the option to froth milk. Thank you

    Now that its been a few months, do you still like your machine? Any issues with it? Is it easy to clean? Thx for the review.

    • @t-moreviews
      @t-moreviews  6 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Hi RoRo, Yeah I still like the machine and it is performing well. I have been having at least one coffee a day so have put it through its paces. I am still enjoying the machine and there is no real issues that I have had with it. Cleaning is quick and easy and have not had any issues with the steam wand blocking up but as i do a rinse (put through a milk cycle with fresh water) each time I find it clear out any milk before it hardens. Also the machine does remind you to go through the steam wand detailed cleaning cycle after a set amount of uses.
      The one thing that I am finding is sometime the milk temp can differ but I think sometimes it depends on the milk you have or temp of it. It does not spoil the experience it just sometimes means its a little hotter then I would like.
      I would still highly recommend this machine to anyone that enjoys Nespresso and wants to step the quality up, especially for milk based coffees.

    Thanks a lot, this is a great review. I have bought the Creatista Plus (by Sage) this month. Until now the steam wand performs excellently. However it takes two cups of espresso to reach the ideal temperature of the coffee in my preheated cup (73 - 74 celsius). This can be fixed by running hot water (lungo) without a pod in advance, or by inserting a used pod to heat up the internal of the machine. I assume this is normal for Nespresso machines and not a failure of my Creatista Plus. Any tips? Best wishes from The Netherlands!

      @@Raptors0524 for convenience and the other model of creatista was like $1.2k AUD I got my creatista on a great bargain because the box it came in was a bit damaged that’s all so for value it was great. I am a fan of the pod system and the many different flavours and drink options (iced and hot for example) I can have with those flavours. Also I use the steam wand for hot chocolate sometimes also

    Hi, I am looking into buying this machine but have cabinets above my kitchen top. My question is, how easy is it to refill the water reservoir since it's located in the back? Thank you so much!

    • @jrbees929
      @jrbees929 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You have to slide the machine around and take the reservoir completely out no matter what to fill the water. You somewhat pull the water reservoir towards you at an angle from the top then up and away from the machine.

  • @Spritzbau
    @Spritzbau 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    I loved the review! I just purchased one and want to make sure I want it until I unpack it. Good facts and I believe you know your way around the art of coffee-making so that made it easy to listen to. Love your accent :)
    I bought it today in Sweden and as you said, there are a lot of special prices going on with Nespresso so I paid USD 320 / AUD 417,50 for it so it’s a solid winner.
    How easy is it to make scratches on it? It looks fine when new and I wonder where to place it in the kitchen: far away from hazards that can give scratches during daily cooking or up-front in the middle of it all?

    • @t-moreviews
      @t-moreviews  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Spritzbau thank you very much, you won’t go wrong with the machine, I hope you do enjoy it. One suggestion I would try a few different type of milks to see which is best for your taste.
      With relation to your comment on scratches I have had for a number of months now and the only thing it seems to be attracting is finger prints. I use a microfiber cloth like an ENYO one so no scratches at all. I would suggest putting the Creatista near the corner if you have the space and not need to move around. It is a beautiful machine so one I’m sure you would prefer to show off.
      Once again thank you for your kind words. If you have any other questions don’t be afraid to ask.
      I hope you enjoy your machine

    Thank you very much for your detailed review. You mentioned that you had issues with the wand after a week of use. Would you please elaborate on the issues? Also, what type of milk ameliorates this problem? Thanks!

    • @t-moreviews
      @t-moreviews  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Xiang, I did not have a problem with the steam wand as per say it was more trying to find the right milk to suit my tastes. I quickly found out that the milk that was extra creamy (cream on top) did not produce the froth i was looking for. I found that full cream milk was best for my needs. The hilo milk wasn't bad either but i prefer full cream milk. In Australia (WA) the best milk I found was (Bannister downs full cream) a local supplier as well as the Pauls full cream milk. My suggestion would be to see what milk your favourite local coffee shop uses and if you enjoy the coffee the chances are that you will enjoy it on your own machine.

    Great review. Say can u use the milk frothing function with a cup instead of the jug? I know the jug temperature is measured but is there a setting to just use a cup without measuring temp? Cause sometimes in the morning when I don’t have time I would like to froth in a paper cup and then add coffee so I don’t have to clean anything....

      So if anyone can suggest any much appreciated. As well found our espresso cold...we like it hot. Anything specific we need to do?

    Hi ,can you use the water tank on the machine without putting a pod in?

    • @t-moreviews
      @t-moreviews  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Marty Southernwood it will pass water through without a pod so you can use for hot water but do keep in mind that the water temp seems to be around 70 degrees (160f) so not ideal for some types of tea. Can be used for multiple uses if trying to convince the other half/ or yourself. 😁

      T-mo Reviews I like to run water through after I’ve made coffee to clean the brew head so it doesn’t contaminate the next one. Nice review btw. I’m in Western Australia and got mine through The Good Guys. Good deal, cash back and coffee pods included. The young guy was great, showed me everything. I was going to get the top of the range Latissima, but when he ran through the Creatista plus, with it’s temperature control I was sold.

    Can you control the milk temperature? I like mine a little warmer...thanks

    • @t-moreviews
      @t-moreviews  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      HI David, the one thing I wish is that you could control is the temp of the milk by the actual degrees so you know exactly how hot it is. I believe the milk is hot. Personally I prefer it on the warm setting which is just under the ideal setting. To me that’s hot enough but if you want hotter there are a few choices above that. I am happy to take a temp of the hottest setting in the morning when I make my next coffee if you would like to let you know if the machine would suit your needs

    • @ulsterscot
      @ulsterscot 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      T-mo Reviews no need Sir. I use the aerocinno..but it’s not warm enough. As long as the creatista is much warmer...that’s all I need to know. Thanks very much for the help.

      @t-moreviews  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      David G just to let you know, I was interested to see how hot very hot was on the machine and the Milk came out at 96c / 204.8f so I think that the machine should give you the temp that would suit your needs.

      Not sure if this is true, I've seen alternating takes on this. Most say the Plus has 11 milk temperature settings instead of 3, 8 texture settings instead of 4 and heats up faster.
      That said, if the buttons are programmable for temperature and length of froth, etc., is there really that much advantage to it?
