Can’t they both, Alec and Hanna be held accountable?
I remember when John Morgan was just a big time local florida laywer "For the People"
@@leonidas6134 oh yes im sure there will be a civil suit following any verdict here
Personally I still think that Hannah was innocent. It is very important in my opinion to realize that somehow live arms instead of blanks ended up evidently more than once on the set of the filming. Something was wrong with the supplier of the blanks in my opinion and the rushed filming certainly did not help the situation in making this more problematic. If anything, Hannah should have investigated the ammo to ensure it was blanks and if she did and it was not investigated a second time to double check. In this case whoever was in charge of the set budget and employment is at fault. In this case I believe it was Alec Baldwin. So where did the live rounds still come from? I don't believe it would have been the supplier itself because the ammunition doesn't match production. However, it ended up in a container like the blanks on the set. Something was wrong without question and I'm not sure the defense did the best job digging evidence to that effect. Of course this is only to my knowledge if she investigated the ammo.
@CiciAngel696 It could be Hannah's fault if she did not check the ammunition. It without doubt is Baldwin's fault though more than anyone's because he was in charge of the filming being the producer as well as lead actor on the Rust set. You deeply overlooked the fact that Alec Baldwin was the Producer and in charge of the entire situation. If Hannah checked the ammunition, she is innocent in my opinion, and Baldwin should be prosecuted. Otherwise Hannah should be as had now happened. Baldwin regardless is in trouble due to his unethical management of the filming which as a producer he should have known better but in my opinion only one of these two should receive the involuntary manslaughter charge and not both. My opinion though is I think Hannah might have been innocent because I doubt she did not inspect the bullets unless there was evidence I'm not aware of that she brought real bullets onto the set of filming where she again should be found guilty. Also my comments get deleted a lot as well, you're not alone.
The worst part is that there are so many lifes ruined over a movie that nobody was going to watch in the first place
True. When was the last time Baldwin was relevant?
You hit the nail on the head..
Might watch it now
How do u know mate?
@@swann433SNL
Her pulling cartridges out of her fanny pack is how live rounds got into that gun. There shouldn't have even been live ammunition on the property let alone on the set
The live rounds are a mystery. Fanny packs don't create live rounds.
This is really the crux of the incident. There never should have been any live ammunition on set, period.
They found real bullets in a Fanny pack when they went and searched. There were 6 real bullets found in the search, and one was there
Obviously not. Apparently she and other members of her team were shooting the gun earlier in the day, that's how the live ammunition got in the pouch. I've done security on movie sets before. Prop firearms and ammunition are supposed to be secured until actually used on the set not out being played with. This accident was like most other accidents. A series of events that end in a bad way.
This is why these procedures are practiced. Unfortunately there have been many such accidents on movie sets all because safety protocols weren't followed.
She also let Baldwin bully and scare her. That's obvious in the film footage. He's by nature a large type A hole. His conduct is well known both in and out of the industry. There were also apparently several other accidents involving guns on the set. Bottom line is both She and her staff were careless and unprofessional ending in a tragedy
I understand that Hannah never intentionally meant for the shooting to happen, but this trial has highlighted her many inadequacies as an armorer. She just failed in her responsibilities in many ways. The safety walkout was a red flag, the misfires were red flags, the disrespect of the weapons seen by others randomly waving them around, the live rounds, the poor storage of ammunition, and ofc the fact that a live round killed one and injured another; she is responsible. Not solely responsible. But if she did her job right, everyone would still be alive and uninjured today.
Facts. If she'd simply shaken the rounds before she loaded them into the gun Halyna would still be alive.
She’s definitely guilty of involuntary manslaughter imo. Baldwin is also though, considering how aggressive he was on set in that one scene that was recorded.
Baldwin violated 5 rules of firearms safety. He is responsible.@@snowwhite2524
She's guilty before the fact, not after it. She's being tried instead of the actual trigger puller.
@@skipperclinton1087 Not really 'instead of,' Alec Baldwin's trial will be in July, if I understand what was said in the video correctly.
she's 24 and inexperienced. HOW tf did she get this job over countless more qualified people in the industry? Whoever hired her should face consequences too.
her dad is a seasoned armor, she got the job through her dad, was her second movie set, and this was a verrrrrrry low budget movie

To me this demonstrates Hollywood disstain of US Citizen 2nd Amendment right is based on their own inability to understand the personal accountability US Citizens readily accept as part of their second amendment responsability. Alex Baldwin continues to demonstrate his inability to maintain any sense of personal accountability for his actions in either his personal, public, or professional life. That is the real shame of this entire situation. Actors are not the characters they portray!
Absolutely correct! She's a mere child who was way in over her head. Unfortunately, the fish stinks from the head and Baldwin and Co. created a work environment that allowed the real adults in the room, IATSE, to abandon ship. Right there the game was lost. Baldwin is a super self-centered creep who has no business running a film crew as he can't think beyond his immediate infantile needs. He gives off very negative and violent vibes. He is Mr. Bad Energy. They will try to hang this girl and may succeed, but Baldwin is the reason why historically actors were denied the right to vote. He and his wife are pure garbage. He will continued to do well in Hollywood.
I once worked at a small company where the boss's young son had a high level position. He had such a low level of competence combined with a sense of entitlement that was really annoying to me, a young contemporary of his. Im sure he eventually had a rude awakening once his dad retired. But since this was the advertising business, no one died.
so like a real life pete campbell? (mad men)
31:07 _He says the gun was empty!_ - Empty guns don't fire anything - what is going on here! - how did neither the defence or prosecution catch that one.
He then describes that Hannah decided to load blanks
ya, halls testimony was questionable. I thought this was an open and shut case until he spoke.
when did he say that? whats the time stamp@@EatHere
@@moedark4390 Same.
It got edited but he admitted he only really saw that three chambers were empty instead of checking them all. That's why he pleaded no contest and got 6 months of probation.
Those weren't accidental discharges, they were negligent discharges. An AD is caused by a weapon malfunctioning whereas a ND is caused by someone pulling a trigger when they shouldn't have. There's a BIG difference.
The issue they have to clarify is that if she presented herself as a firearms expert and was hired based on an that, and agreed to take a job on the set, then the expectation is 100% on her that she would do her job as advertised and agreed upon. If she lied to get a job, then that's a problem.
The documentary of this movie will be 1000x more watched than the actual movie.
Seems that the production company tried to make too many budget cuts 😵🤨
Not seems like, they did cut cost of everything else coz baldwin insisted his own salary need to be over 250k. The armorer was only paid $7000
Rust had to skimp in order pay the government in fines.
That's what Baldwin said.
No kidding they even fired the cinematographer
I think it's pretty clear at this point one single person shouldn't be blamed for this the entire production fail.
The armorer did it purposely. Its on her.
Alec Baldwin violated all Industry safety rules as well as the 4 basic rules of firearms safety. Had he obeyed one rule, Rule #2, nothing Guttierrez did would have mattered.
At the end of the day, it was Hannah’s responsibility to keep this from happening. She chose to work that job & she chose to stay despite knowing the set conditions. The producers sucked but Hannah failed.
@@Leatherhead4Hire It could be plausible that Baldwin put the live ammo in the gun
@@burntsky64why? What motive would he have to do that? How would he have done it without being seen, after he was handed the gun, after it was checked and he was on film? That makes no sense.
Not seeing these videos makes it easier to believe Baldwin was less involved than he actually was. It appears that his status as producer empowered him to cross boundaries that he had previously respected as an actor or just a wiser man. This is so sad.
On a movie set an actor is not allowed to point a gun at anyone even if there are blanks in it. He pointed the gun at someone on the set and pulled the trigger. He is definitely at fault.
@@palace927he's not being found guilty of involuntary manslaughter. No chance. The charge doesn't even make sense. He'll be found not guilty in a matter of minutes.

Her murder trial glow up is really well done 👍 I’ve been sitting here trying to figure out if she’s getting her hair and makeup professionally done every day for court, or did she do it herself? These are the important things I spend my time pondering lol
@@Patsanford220 Her lawyers hook her up with some pros, no doubt

She said before being an armored she was considering modeling & acting 😂
If it is impossible to do your job as armorer, you quit. You say, "Im here for safety or Im not here at all!" She wasnt a slave, she was an employee.
Yup! She chose to take that job & she chose to stay after knowing it was too much for her. If only she had chosen to do her job correctly. This was her responsibility & her fault.
And if she'd done that she'd never work in Hollywood again.
@@jlo7770 maybe you havent noticed, but that ship has sailed even though she stayed. Besides, if you ask those involved if they would have preferred she quit or be in this position, I think you would be hard pressed to find anyone rallying for her to stay. (You REALLY think those in Hollywood have NEVER quit a job? LOL)
@@jlo7770 same argument rogue cops use for "just following orders"
The problem with work culture though, is that in many workplaces, employees are regarded - and essentially regard themselves - as slaves. It seems to me that Alec Baldwin was the producer - he was the big boss, and it seems like he ran the set in a way that didn't make it easy for the armorer to assert authority over him. That's not to say the armorer wasn't majorly at fault, but I think Baldwin's attitude on set contributed to the tragedy.
LOOK who is singing Hannah’s praises- Sarah Zachry who knew ZERO,ZILCH-NOTHING about guns, ammo much less the care & handling of them.
Just at the beginning of this video. Please tell me you have the defenses expert gun witness pointing the gun at the judge today. That was insane, like the worst witness the defense could have called on.
The judge telling him he did not show them if the gun is unloaded. I think the jurors realized how Hannah did.
@@daveaver Baldwin is an actor and was a movie. That gentleman is a gun expert in court for the defense, and he point the gun to people including the judge, and celling, huge difference and shows to the jurors a point of this trial.
@@carinabarros135Baldwin was actor and executive producer, and his father was a shooting coach, who I hope would instill the same level of gun safety that would be taught to boy scouts.
@@ingiford175 that theory of if the father is an expert on something the son or daughter will be the same is false.
How do you hold a gun when you're sitting against a wall and people are 180degrees around him? You gotta point it at someone... and multiple people at that if you move your hands at all
Halls is lying rapidly, blinking to close himself off from the question of him hanging the gun to boldwin and the fearful shaking in his hand when he goes for a sip of water.
the gun expert says that to control baldwins unsafe pointing of the gun he would tell baldwin "IF YOU COULD" try not to point the gun at people meaning that the perfect gun expert was already making a compromise by not telling baldwin to not point the gun like that at all
Originally it was said that assistant director handed Alec the gun and that Hannah wasn't even in the church when this happened. Supposedly she was told to go do another job, from what I remember. So many unknowns and stories changing.
Bryan Carpenter was the best witness for the prosecution .
Definitely the most likeable. Also the one who sounded most dedicated to getting things right.
Why can’t lawyers act civil in court? I don’t want someone representing me that exudes pettiness and contempt
How is this woman an armor? A certificate from daddy is not a qualification.
Because there were zero "requirements" thats the biggest underlying issue IMO.. There needs to be actual industry qualifications.. Some kind of industry standards and regulations put into place instead of allowing a literal free for all with no set expectations for training in this field..
This is the epitome of “diversity hiring” at its worst. 2 girls who know almost nothing about firearms. Sarah had NEVER handled a firearm in her life until shortly before this movie set.
Welcome to the era of everyone is a self claimed professional
Qualifications are bought or favored into place all the time. Especially for offspring of people who’ve been in that position
It's the film industry. Nepotism is king.
Next time spend the money on seasoned safety personnel instead of a 24 year old just out of college.
The biggest crime here is the way Alec Baldwin raises his pistol each time he shoots a blank. It's like a kid playing cowboy.
If anyone thinks that Alec Baldwin would have listened to a 24 yr old woman on this set , well I’ve got some good swamp land to sell you
I feel like I shouldn't be an outsider by thinking, Whoever brought the live ammunition to the set is responsible. Who brought the live ammo?
They haven't proved who brought the live ammo one way or the other although IMO I think it's most likely that the live ammo came from PDQ props..
I think it was Hannah
I’m confused as to why they didn’t track the rounds. Are they not traceable?
@@mandolyn just the fact we are still debating it means the state didn't prove that element beyond a reasonable doubt..
They are trying to pin it on Hannah with no proof makes me think someone is trying to cover their tracks
In his plea deal Halls said HE handed the gun to Baldwin. Then, during Hannah's trial, he changes his mind and says Hannah handed the gun to him. Which is it? How do you get "confused" over something like that?
Outrageous!
Baldwin also said he never pulled the trigger. Sounds like their all lying
Passing the buck on the blame. Lowest person on the totem pole gets the worst charge and takes the most heat. I blame Baldwin. He's been on multiple movies where guns were used. He's had experience as an actor and more on how guns and ammunition should be treated--yet he did everything wrong!
Doesn’t matter. Her responsibility was to check the bullets as she loaded them. That’s what the trail is/was about.
@@Loliolla I don't disagree. I didn't say she's not guilty. I was only commenting on Halls' conflicting comments about who handed Baldwin the gun.
Guilty and alec holds responsibility as well for hostile work environment
im trying to figure out why you would ever have real rounds on set. Theres no reason for it. 100% her fault
What? Cmon man, people wanna shoot cans in between shooting the movie...who cares if idiots could mix up real ammo with blanks and people could get shot?
And the other producers
Law is so unnecessarily convoluted. Things are so abstracted and disconnected that they become their own talking points without context.
There should have been only 2 questions:
1. Why were there live rounds on the set (no, internet experts, live rounds are NEVER necessary on a movie set).
2. Who loaded those rounds into the gun at whose request?

😂😂😂😂
I feel like she’s taking the fall for a lot of people that are also responsible for this horrible incident
That's kind of her job though. As the armorer she is predominantly responsible for the weapons and ammunition on set. She should have been the last line of defense before anything bad happened and she wasn't. Simply shaking the rounds before putting them in the gun would have prevented this.
If you are going to beep things out because you are afraid of TH-cam, please try to make them the same sound level as the rest of your audio
There has been NO PROOF of where the live rounds came from. HG was clearly unqualified, but she was hired for the job and was never corrected or put on notice.
He says "Halyna get out of the" ... way, in that one video.
"Prop Guns" that fire live ammunition are called "Firearms"
Yeah, many use wrong terminology. It's like talking about accidental discharges on set, when all those discharges were negligent discharges, not accidental discharges.
Some Hollywood actors don’t want people to own guns yet they use real guns to make a movie. They are such hypocrites.
Kinda shows that people with no gun safety shouldn't use guns. Unless the lesson you get is that this woman should absolutely still have the right to handle guns
Alec Baldwin is a big proponent of this!!
Not sure if this comment is serious. 😆
The entire crew should be here accountable and to act like she was the only one on that set to have smoke or inhaled weed is Ludacris.
Hannah was under qualified and overworked. However, I don’t think anyone really saw that as a risk (including Hannah) because a live round being on set is frankly unimaginable. A true tragedy, RIP Halyna.
BS. She had three additional free hours that day prior to the incident to check those bullets to make sure they were safe. There's no excuse.
I've tuned out of the livestreams just because I knew this video was coming. THANK YOU for saving me from the past week of proceedings.

She's guilty for sure, but I hope she's not only one who pays a high price for what was the easiest death to avoid ever. AB should never be allowed to make a movie again at the minimum.
I hope this movie has been shut down permanently. I also hope that all these people never ever get a job on another movie set again. I couldn't believe what I was hearing at first because surely no one would be that tactless...... 🙃
At the end of the day, the armorer is responsible for making sure the firearm was as it should be BEFORE handing it to the actor, so it's the armorier's fault, plain & simple. The producer is probably at fault for hiring a very inexperienced armorer for an extremely important role.
Agreed. Hannah trying to misplace the blame by saying her job being too hard is a ridiculous defense. She chose to accept it & still stayed despite knowing the conditions. It was her responsibility & I would be shocked if she is found not guilty lol.

She may be guilty of manslaughter in a technical sense but it is entirely the ego of Alec Baldwin that led to the shooting.

"...he was handling a prop gun..."
NO. A PROP gun would be incapable of firing a bullet. They were handling REAL guns
How does Alec Baldwin not remember who handed him the gun ?
Maybe everyone except the director and other actors are "unimportant people," to him and one of those "unimportant people" handed him the gun.
Simple. He didn’t know he was about to shoot a woman. Why would he need to remember that detail if it was routine? You’re assuming he was noting every detail for future court testimony. Life doesn’t work like that. You forget certain details when you don’t know the importance they’ll have later.
Thanks for covering this in detail. I never get to see full stories in detail due working nights💜gotta love TH-cam. Subbed.
This case is over!!! The damning testimony against the prosecutions case by OSHA is brutal! OSHA determined that the defendant was not guilty at all, and Rust management was completely responsible. Wow I havnt seen this kind of damning testimony to a case ever! Jury heard the testimony of OSHA and it’s a humdinger !!!
Even if you don’t like Alec Baldwin, he was handed what he was told was a cold gun. If they armor had done her job, right, the gun would’ve been cold, but apparently a lot of people had access to the gun and it was a hot load. The fact that other people tried to cover up evidence is very telling. Why is the prosecutor giving some people immunity?
Excuses, excuses excuses for everybody but Baldwin. Doesn’t seem right to me.
If the armorer was doing cocaine, could that be why she couldn’t do her job, right? Excuses excuses excuses but the truth is she was impaired by drugs and put a heart load of the gun handed it off involved and was told it was a cold gun and it’s her fault.
Basic gun safety, is, check any gun you pick up or one that Is handed to you! Period!
Every Court has a different way of behaving and applying rules. I personally think this court is incredibly permissive, already crossing the line in the jury's eyes.

[From private investigator] Sarah also brought more rounds onto set (from Seth). Sarah had very little training.
It's always a bad thing when your armorer is also a drug dealer.
STOP calling her an "armorer" its derogatory and insulting to properly trained professionals ...
Agreed.
As an Australian ex Cash-in-Transit Armed Security Guard, so many basic gun safety standards were either bypassed or overlooked by "Professionals" on this set, the mind boggles.
If you are a specialist in weapons is it possible to notice whether a bullet is a blank or a lie bullet?
Of course
Yes. It's harder for an untrained actor tho
While the armorer loaded the gun, the fail safe of it being checked by another on the set is what actually caused the accident. She made a mistake, but the bigger mistake was not checking her work as is industry standard. Not guilty.
This was a set of Russian roulette… 6 live bullets in random places.
Such bad cross examination of the ammunition guy. He had previously been deposed, and said he didn’t know how the live ammunition got to set. Should have asked him, “when you were deposed under oath, you said you had no idea where the live ammunition came from, correct?”

I don't really get this. Was there supposed to be live ammo on the set? If it wasn't supposed to be there, who brought it in the set?
no there was never supposed to be live ammo on set, or any movie set for that matter. it’s not industry practice. they have never been able to establish how it got on set. some think from Seth Kenny, others think Hannah brought it herself to shoot for fun after hours. no one knows.
14 minutes in.. when she smiled at Hannah I couldn't help but to fist bump the air. That was her way of saying, "This is the last time I'll ever see you in person!"
Not sure Hannah is entirely culpable here. What I've seen of Alec Baldwin's behavior on set is very concerning.
Agreed. There seems to be incompetence everywhere, not just the armourer.
As the armorer, hannah is reaponsible for the ammunition on set. If she didnt think she was capable of handling the workload, and responsibilities of armorer for this movie, then she should have quit. She is responsible for giving loaded weapons to actors, reprimanding bad behaviour for those not following safe gun practices, and keeping ammunition away from all others apart from those authorised. That is her responsibility as armorer. Baldwin has his own responsibility for even aiming it at people, regardless of loaded with ammo or empty. He also fired it
but one has a job to make sure the bullets were blanks and not real....and one just follows a script .....he is still responsible @@Nothingness00000-o
That's covered in a separate case.
I don’t think that was ever asserted. Different individuals get separate trials here.
She's the movie sets armorer. That is her job. Her job to MAKE SURE, ABSOLUTELY SURE that all the Guns are safe, with NO live bullets.(Or any other weapons) 100% sure. The actors or anyone else should NOT have to check and make sure their prop gun is safe as they are handed the prop. The actor is an actor. She is the armorer. Period. Why pay her to do that if they have to check her work? And why are there live bullets at a movie set anyway? She's 100% at fault. Not Alec Baldwin. This is just MY opinion.
Hannah has sure made a turn for the better in her personal appearance , good for her .
Now she needs to work on tattoo removal and drug rehab...but keep going!
She will look better in her jump suit....
@@6stringcodger450 OMG, Now yinz picking on her tattoo? None of this has anything to do with this trial.
@@PhxDesertGal
Obviously.
Her physical appearance is irrelevant to this trial but that's what they're discussing.
She will gain 80lbs in prison. The only thing women do in prison is watch T.V., eat commissary, and munch box.
She’s a real piece of work ( prosecutor) her court behaviour needs to be addressed by the judge. Her behaviour is unacceptable for court decorum.
That photo of Seth Kenny's business. Oof.
I find him insufferable and surely, the jury does too. He is suspicious, as he never directly answers questions.
You've been talking to the jury I see👌
Baldwin pulled the trigger that killed HH. He’s guilty period.
Oh no…she doesn’t get an out for supposedly doing two jobs. The armorers job was number one due to safety…anyone doing a job if not on drugs especially would know that imo
Maybe Alec Baldwin used live ammunition to give the scene some realism?
Perhaps, it certainly got very real. I wonder if he ever secretly wanted to kill someone? Make it look like an accident? He knew the gun was real, it’s claimed people were shooting the firearm out the back having target practice so everyone knew that there were live rounds at the film set.
