You NEVER agree to pick up a woman from her controlling boyfriend at his house. Any woman who even asked you to do this and who is not your sister, is using you.
I wouldn’t even say using the person, but completely neglecting the fact that they’re putting someone in the middle of harms way because of their mess with an unhinged abusive bf. I was stuck in the middle before but not because I knew. I’m no longer friends with the woman who took me over to her then abusive bf house that was beating in her and I broke it up because I mean, why wouldn’t I? He could’ve killed me, but in the heat of the moment, I’m trying to protect my friend. She never told me before that night he would put his hands on her, otherwise I would’ve never went over there and minded my business. It’s sad.
@wraynephew6838 once upon a time I went through this. The chick said she was just recently single. That's why she still had pics up in the house of her and another man. Didn't find out until 6 months later , after she broke up with me ( claiming she was pregnant and lost the baby due to miscarriage ). That was until I ran into her sister who i never met. But the last name was so unique. I had to ask if they were related. Turns out they were sisters and she knew of me because her sister told her , I was the guy she was cheating on her husband with..... I was young and she was older. Played me like a fiddle.
Never talk to the cops without consulting a lawyer. It doesn't matter what the circumstances are... they aren't your friend. And in the end YOU are the only one who will suffer the consequences.

None of this wouldve happened if she wouldnt have been playing games. So....what happens to her? Also....what were these guys thinking? They went to a guys house, whom they didnt know, whom said he had a gun....to pick up a girl who willingly went with the man? What? Smh. Shes the one person who will leave this shituation unscathed....to go live her life happily. Smh. Disgusting.
She didn’t pull the trigger though. Let’s hold men accountable for their actions instead of always blaming women for the actions of bad men. HE pulled the trigger.
Suppose you encounter an elderly woman who appears to be in a vulnerable situation and is potentially being mistreated. In such a scenario, would you intervene and offer assistance, or would you choose to refrain from getting involved?
@UndisputedChampion-i6g Ah! I’ve seen you before. Walking straight past a woman or child fighting off an abduction. Or walking past an elderly person who collapsed. Or driving right past a child pedestrian involved in a hit and run. Yep. Some champion.
I dunno man, this is why I would stay out of other folks' domestic drama. On again-off again BF, so she keeps going back to him despite his scumbag ways. Even if you "rescue" her that night, she will probably go back yet again.
That and domestic drama and violence calls are even the most dangerous calls for police so it’s likely even worse as a bystander or neighbor etc to get involved
And this is why I save what little empathy I have for children. They are the only ones who have no choice when they are in abusive relationships. They are also the most mentally, physically, and legally vulnerable. I'd step in for a child but not for an adult. Unless you're kidnapped, somewhere along the way, you saw a red flag and should have left before it got worse. As a woman, the trick is to keep him stuck in his fake gentleman persona. The moment he changes, leave.
DV calls are the most dangerous calls cops go on! And they’re fully armed and usually have backup! Never would I go to into a DV situation. My heart bleeds for this man and the family he left behind. A selfless act that ended his life. I hope his child grows up to know that their daddy died trying to help someone 😢
The girl lured that guy to his death by trying to make her BF jealous and didn’t call the cops about the abuse instead. I bet she faces no consequences for getting that guy killed. She played an evil game.
I feel like that's why her identity was kept private because she egged all of this on & if it wasn't for her none of it would have happened. Granted he didn't need to do what he did but I feel like she lured them there to fight over her. She's one of those "pick me" females that enjoys the attention from men, especially when they fight over or for her! Why else would she have called him to pick her up, if she was so afraid & wanted those men to help her get away lol. Hu$$y.
So you admit that you guys have an error in your system that makes this possible. If you males weren't that unhinged there was less violence. It started with the abusive bf...
I've worked security in NYC nightclubs & bars for over 30 years..& the WORST issues I've dealt with are DOMESTIC DISPUTES..i remember early on i made the mistake of getting in-between a boyfriend & girlfriend who were going at it..& the girl IMMEDIATELY cracked me over the head with a BOTTLE,.. after that..i didn't care if a guy was BEATING T F out of his girlfriend..i would tell them BOTH to LEAVE! Bottom line.. being CAPTAIN SAVE A HOE does NOT work out for you in the end.
You NEVER, ever insert yourself in the middle of a domestic dispute. Call the cops and keep it moving. The only people I'm protecting with my life is my family, period. I automatically assume everyone has a gun like me.
This is why my family stayed in Canada even though we were eligible for immigration to the US. Parents saw how much people modified their behaviour in civil society to accommodate unstable people with guns- and hated it.
@@ANO-.-NYM this is a majority American comment section. Be prepared for gun enthusiasts to tell you how wrong you are. They don’t know how sick their society is.
I don’t think I disagree. WHY did she go to his home with the knowledge she had? Why have anything to do with him? She’s not picking up their children. It’s not her home. This was a preference. If she had fear, it makes no sense. It’s one thing to involve yourself in drama. But wholly different to involve someone else by appealing to their kindness.
She didn't have him pick her up. In his line of events, the friend called him and said that the girlfriend DIDN'T want to talk to him. She then told him in which general area they were. Likely, the guy is leaving out a lot of details as to why the friend was the one relaying this message and giving him this information. After hearing that his girlfriend DIDN'T want to talk to him, he decided to get in his car and scout the entire area to find her. That is NOT normal behavior. According to the girlfriend, Roces had been trying to call and text her multiple times that night, and she ignored him. It was only later that she learned that he was driving around, looking for her. After leaving the bar, she and her friends got separated. Roces ended up finding her walking alone and told her to get in his car. The fact that she was intoxicated and alone in the middle of the night likely made her too scared to say no. Women, especially those who are being abused, have trouble saying no when they know it could put them in danger. For her in that moment, the best thing she could do was comply. Roces also said that during the drive, she tried opening the door to get out and told him that she wanted to leave. At the house, the girlfriend went into the bathroom to wait for Fitzgerald. She had texted him before to ask if he could pick her up because she was scared. Considering Roces is capable of murder, it's not weird for her to be afraid in that situation. He has likely given her enough reasons to be afraid of him that we don't know of. She did know this guy had a gun and was jealous. Do you understand why she was afraid? No, she isn't "as guilty if not more". That doesn't make sense. She's a victim of abuse. She was scared. She reached out to someone who she trusted, and someone who knew about the abusive situation and who probably told her that if she needed help, she could reach out to him. You're basically saying "She let him abuse her, so she's just as guilty as he is!" This is major victim blaming.
@@epicXtrollface yah, Nah. She’s definitely as much responsible. There is no such thing as victims when she was “knowingly “ afraid of him. Not too bright. Risks and ends up getting someone else killed. She is DEFINITELY NOT A VICTIM FFS.
@lilnuggetheadd no one is blaming anyone. Intervening without getting law enforcement involved risks everyones' lives. Hence why they said "don't save her".
This woman wanted to get back at her boyfriend by enlisting other men to beat him up. It's sad that one of them was killed. This was set up by the woman, who should have called the cops in the first place. What a terrible person, and she will face no consequences.
I agree. It also sounds like the murderer was stalking, threatening, and abusive towards the woman. The murderer could've been hurting her and not letting her leave. That's probably what she told the innocent guys who came to her "rescue".
My thoughts on this are that this guy is a murderer. Obviously. He is guilty for his own actions. He deserves his punishment for that. No excuses. And this girl sounds like a troublemaker. If she was being held against her will to the point where she felt like someone needed to intervene she wouldn't have text some random guy. She would have called the cops. She knew the players involved. She wanted trouble. She orchestrated it. And it happened.
The dude wasn't "some random guy". And no, she wouldn't have called the cops. Unless you have firsthand experience as a domestic violence survivor, you don't KNOW what a victim would do. As a victim of both childhood and partner abuse, the police is just about the last thing you think to call because of the repercussions. If every person who is being abused calls the cops on their abusers, and if all the cops take these victims as seriously as they should, abusive relationships wouldn't be a thing. People wouldn't be abused. Abusive relationships don't work like regular ones.
@@epicXtrollface nah, even though you are right about some victims, the woman in this case is obviously a manipulative person, didn’t you hear all what she did? She played them like fools, all of them, so, you’re absolutely wrong in this case.

Honestly, this is exactly why I’d steer clear of other people's domestic issues. If she’s got an on-again, off-again thing with her boyfriend and keeps going back despite his toxic behavior, chances are even if you "save" her that night, she'll just end up right back with him later.
Who? The guy in the interrogation room? Don't be so gullible dude. That man stalked her for hours before he finally got his hands on her. She only agreed to go with him because she was afraid of what would happen if she didn't, given she knew he packs a weapon and now he was angry and within eyesight. Maybe going with him saved other people's lives in that busy nightlife area? Who knows what he might have done had she rejected him in a public area like that. But she most definitely wanted those two men to save her when back at his place, and they bravely tried. One man didn't make it. He now has his Angel Wings for the hero he was for doing the right thing that night. She is alive and her abuser will be in prison long enough to save others from him.

He looked for her for 45 minutes. He found her when she was alone (got separated from the group) and drunk in the middle of the night and he told her to get in his car. In the car, she literally tries to open the door and escape while they were driving. According to the girlfriend's statement, she didn't have contact with him before he found her that night. He tried to text and call her, but she ignored him. He also said that her friend told him the GF didn't want to talk to him. She only went with him because she felt threatened, which is why she also asked Fitzgerald if he could pick her up since she was afraid. She didn't call an Uber at the house because Roces obviously wouldn't just let her go. He was basically keeping her hostage. If you believe the narrative told by an abusive murderer, then yeah, the woman and the victim were both responsible for what happened. Whose the say he was even going to fatally harm her? This could’ve been a common thing for them.
There are conflicting stories here. It sounds like the girl in question was at the epicenter of a fire storm. She didn’t want to be with him and the victim was trying to extricate her from this guys house who obviously has control issues. His statement that he was trying to be her Saviour falls flat because she was texting the other guy probably telling him to come get her. Our perpetrator is getting more and more wound up resulting in the altercation when our victim comes to the house to “rescue” the girl in question. The argument of self defence is stretching the law as the altercation was pre planned and the victim was challenged to come to the house by the perpetrator. The use of a gun has become second nature in American culture and to claim it was self defence is a bogus get out clause. What this guy did was to feed on the adrenaline pumping around his body. When the victim came to the house it was premeditated murder. The perpetrator had every intention of shooting even if he thought he would only wound his victim. In the act of pulling the trigger he broke the law and was unlucky enough to cause a fatality. The victim is not without blame but if he had called 911 all this could have been avoided. The law is meant to protect society from illegal acts of commission. In this case it is not even manslaughter. He cold heartedly discharged his weapon knowing it was a potentially lethal force he used even if he maintains it was for the purposes of defending himself. Ignorance of the law is not an excuse and possessing a firearm implies it could cause bodily harm and even death.
Another witness (the girlfriend) said she met Fitzgerald at his house and they drove to Dart Bar on King Street to meet another friend. The woman said she received several text messages and calls from Roces, *_which she ignored._* As the night went on, she learned that Roces was searching the Riverside area for her, according to the police report. She said that she and the group left the bar but got separated. Roces approached her as she was walking alone and he told her to get in his car, according to the police report. She then got in the car, and he took her back to his family’s house on River Road. She told investigators she texted Fitzgerald and asked him to pick her up from Roces’ house because she was afraid of him. The police report said she went into a bathroom in the house and waited for Fitzgerald to pick her up, and Roces stayed in the bathroom with her. The next thing she sees, according to the report, is Roces leaving the bathroom. Then he starts arguing with Fitzgerald once he arrived at the front door of the house. The police report said she left through the front door while they were arguing and went to Fitzgerald’s car which was parked two doors down from Roces’ house. As they were preparing to leave, Roces went over to the vehicle and another argument began as he and Fitzgerald were walking towards each other, the police report said. Investigators said that at some point during that argument, a gun was pulled out and Fitzgerald was shot. ------------------------------------------ Murderers lie. Abusers lie. People who are guilty and are being questioned LIE. Fitzgerald and the woman were trying to leave, so the claim of self-defense falls completely flat. Especially since Roces is the instigator.

I agree so much w this
I don’t think I disagree.
You're basically saying "She let him abuse her, so she's just as guilty as he is!"

And no, she wouldn't have called the cops. Unless you have firsthand experience as a domestic violence survivor, you don't KNOW what a victim would do. As a victim of both childhood and partner abuse, the police is just about the last thing you think to call because of the repercussions.

The woman said she received several text messages and calls from Roces, *_which she ignored._*
As the night went on, she learned that Roces was searching the Riverside area for her, according to the police report.
------------------------------------------
Murderers lie. Abusers lie. People who are guilty and are being questioned LIE. Fitzgerald and the woman were trying to leave, so the claim of self-defense falls completely flat. Especially since Roces is the instigator.

Idk if I should speak to a lawyer, is not the same thing as I am not speaking without a lawyer present. He continued to talk.
That’s how you do an in-video advertisement
Captain SaveAH03 looses his life over a female. Leave them alone its not your business.
Then she goes back to the guy.
That's exactly how women feel when men complain about women's behavior. 😊
Story like this happen and some women still expect men to always step in and put line on line for them when they are not your sister, mother, etc
They trust believe they deserve protection from any random man just by virtue of being a woman. Yet out of the other side of their mouths will talk about how strong and independent they are and how they dont need no man.
@@honestyisadyingvirtuemeet better women, yikes
If you are a little punk like this guy, don't carry a gun.
When not minding your business goes wrong. Most times you injured or not alive and they go right back to them
Absolutely 💯
yeah but i wouldn't be aable to live with myself knowing I could've done something and stood by doing nothing.
Ironically, this "minding my own business" mentality is mostly prevalent in Christian communities, where they idolize a Man who "died for everyone else's sins," was all about never letting your own values get in the way of helping others and made it his life's mission to care about your neighbors. It's as if evangelicals have never even read the Evangels and just chose to ignore what the premise of their entire religion is about. And they'll be surprised when they end in a very unpleasantly hot place for all of eternity... well like, yeah, should have followed His word and lended a helping hand if that's what you believe in!
Yup! I’ve heard so many similar stories to this one.
So do nothing when you see a crime being committed lol what backward assed logic is that 😂

I'm in Eugene Oregon and we have a 5 year old girl missing, I just saw it on a news break.. Say a prayer please.. 🙏

So random.. Are you the one that kidnapped that child? 🤨
Hope she found. That's scary especially now that the weather is getting worse and colder. Let us know if the lil girl was found ok.
Yeah I don’t know if I should talk or not without a lawyer but proceeds to tell every single little detail possible.
That’s so funny to me 😂😂😂
The key to NEVER end up on one of these episodes is to ALWAYS invoke your Fifth amendment right to stay silent and never talk to the cops... Period.
Bad idea. She'll end up back with the guy and you'll be in jail or the grave
Nah. You have a family of your own. Don't get involved in stuff like that.

I'm sorry brother but simple fun loving men don't do home invasions
Or have a lengthy criminal history
@@T-unit8902 the murderer says home invasion, he had 8 hours total to come up with a story. The victim was shot next to his car, so he was leaving and that is murder.
@@cynthiaconnors183 it wasn’t lengthy, mostly traffic and the theft incident ten years ago where he turned himself in. There is no evidence of a home invasion , victim shot by car

I like the way the detectives said I'm gonna read you your Rights "Again" they Clearly never did the First time he wouldn't have to rewrite the time and Date if he had.
No that's not what he said, he said he was going to go over his rights with him again to make sure he understands them. Nothing would suggest he was never advised of his rights. Nice try looking to find the cops doing something wrong, you are not unique.
Detective followed procedure and its all on video, nice try tho
So, the dead guy was being unfaithful to his wife?
That’s what I’m trying to figure out
@ the story and the video are evidently edited to make it seem like the victim was some kind of hero of something like it… there are missing spots in the story, at least for me.
I hope she got charged too - she basically planed it - trapped and played until death came in the middle-
Call the cops, alot of times even officers get killed going to a domestic situation, prayers 🙏.
Got to learn to mind ya own business. How is trading your life for someone else's argument considered "heroic"?
Why was the man that has a kid out with this girl in the first place? Were they friends or lovers? Also, why go over to a man known to have anger issues home? How did they think it will end? The woman needs to be charged as well.
Seems like the people that showed up at someone else’s house to start an altercation aren’t really the victims here

Another witness (the girlfriend) said she met Fitzgerald at his house and they drove to Dart Bar on King Street to meet another friend. The woman said she received several text messages and calls from Roces, *_which she ignored._*
As the night went on, she learned that Roces was searching the Riverside area for her, according to the police report.

So much for Floridas "Stand your ground" law and Castle Doctrine.

When he said he wanted a lawyer they should have stopped interviewing him.
Know your laws before you shot to defend yourself, this happens to a lot of people.
You watch enough of these interrogations and you clearly see the common thread amongst those who are guilty. Involuntarily regurgitating irrelevant information at every step, like mentioning the Packers game several times. I understand that hindsight is 20/20 but if you asked me to act like I was a guilty person trying to look innocent I would just mimic this guy.. As others have mentioned, this is why having a lawyer present is so crucial to a defense.

IF his story is true, it sounds like this lady was playing games with both men and trying to see who would "stand up for/defend her." If true, she's has cost one man his life, and may cost the other his with decades in prison. Yes, he is an adult and made his choices, AND she fed into his control and insecurity,....That said, I don't entirely believe his "I was scared" stand your ground story, especially with the texts and video

Idk how many videos iv seen where people ask for lawyers and the cops never bring one they just let you sit and sit until you crack and talk. Thats unconstitutional but it seems prevalent. Know your rights because knowing is half the battle.
Domestic violence peaks during football season. sadly.
Most of these battered women seek out these types unfortunately. They have that personality trait. It's best to stay away from them and let the police handle it. Most always run back to the abuser.
Notice how abusive relationships be the longest ever
