I agree with you about the house and tour but I didn't stay at the Guesthouse. I am 79 and have been a fan since he first started. I’ve actually been upstairs at Graceland and it’s one heck of a story. I’m an electrician and I was working in Memphis in 2002 when I got a call to install an outlet and some wiring needed for a new alarm system at the mansion. I arrived around one o’clock in the afternoon and this lovely woman took me upstairs and showed me what needed to be done and then she left. I was working alone for about ten minutes when the grumbling began. I knew that I had to take a serious dump and quick. I was in what I believe used to be Elvis’ office. I ran across the hall into his bedroom and then straight into his bathroom. I dropped my britches and sat down with mere seconds to spare. It was a surreal moment as I sat there on the King of Rock and Roll’s throne blowing mud. I finished and went back to work. Nobody from Graceland ever knew about it I guess because I never heard any complaints. I really didn’t have any other good options and I did what I had to do. As a side note, I stopped eating Taco Bell for lunch on workdays that day.
@@jessicaparker5896 Lady, I can guarantee you without a doubt that Taco Bell always gives me the most intense case of the wildest, most violent dookies I’ve ever had. It’s so predictable that you can set your watch by it. Nowadays, I don’t even look at a Taco Bell unless I’m on my way straight home. It’s sad, but true. Have a wonderful weekend, Jessica!

I saw all the celebrities like Austin Butler & more. Axle Rose & Alana Morissette singing on the stage at Lisa Marie's service..
If you haven't been to Graceland, then you're not a true Elvis fan.
Hail, hail to the King of Rock n Roll. # 👑.
Ps... Remember there was nothing before Elvis...
You had the founding Fathers of Rock n Roll like Chuck Berry & Little Richard they were the early pioneers of the rock n roll music genre.
But there was no one quite like Elvis Presley & the rest is Rock 'N' Roll history.!!!!
So why show so much of the upstairs now? Have the restrictions not to show anything been lifted?
The mirrors leading up to his bedroom are not one way mirrors, they are just mirrors. On the other side of the stair wall leading up to his bedroom is another set of stairs that leads to the kitchen. The door on your left when you reach the top of the stairs opens up to another staircase that goes down into his kitchen, so those are just regular mirrors and the opposite wall of them mirrors are just painted walls !!
Upstairs is off limits because that’s where Elvis passed away.
Good
Pauvre Elvis..😭😭✝️🙏
Combien de temps Elvis passait au premier étage , en prison dans son salon jungle, pour trouver calme et vie privée??😥😥😪✝️🙏
Depuis 1956 ?? Aucun calme!😪✝️🙏🙏
Aucune vie privée !😪✝️🙏😢✝️🙏.
Rip Elvis❤✝️✝️🙏🌹
For who are they keeping it private? Elvis was just a man like us.
Do you seriously think anyone would believe that?
@@jessicaparker5896 Lady, I can guarantee you without a doubt that Taco Bell always gives me the most intense case of the wildest, most violent dookies I’ve ever had. I don’t know what they put in that stuff, but I’ll swear on a stack of bibles in front of God himself that whenever I eat a couple Supreme Doritos Locos Tacos with extra cheese I will be headed directly to the can to restock the lake with brown trout within no more than one hour. It’s so predictable that you can set your watch by it. Nowadays, I don’t even look at a Taco Bell unless I’m on my way straight home. It’s sad, but true. Have a wonderful weekend, Jessica!
@@Lettuce-and-Tomatoes I was actually referring to you going upstairs at Graceland, not your digestive system.
@@Lettuce-and-Tomatoes So you made the acquaintance of Lisa Marie?
Elvis bedroom at Graceland in the movie with Austin butler was a movie set and not the real thing.
However in some versions of the movie "This is Elvis" they show the real upstairs at Graceland.
Should it be opened to the public? Out of respect no it should not and I hope it never is!
Who knows, maybe it’s haunted up there. It must be a time capsule.
Baz did an incredible job of recreating Graceland and especially the bedroom. Incredible detail
That movie was garbage and a disgrace to Elvis's legacy.
I would not go to Graceland, at night, there is an uneasy, feeling! There, no! I wouldn't go in at night!
Enjoyable Video.
Trust me, Elvis is already being disrespected just by people invading his PRIVATE home. His bedroom was supposed to be part of the tour regardless.
The upper floor should not be opened to visitors, so Elvis will always have a private area.
I think most people should be allowed some privacy in their life, including icons.
This bedroom is from movie Elvis not filmed at Graceland get your facts straight
Thank you
Ich hoffe wird der Obergeschoss eines Tages für die Öffentlichkeit freigegeben
Interesting.
I'm okay with the replica filmed in Queensland, Australia...
Makes you wonder what he was up to in there
Elvis gefällt es bestimmt nicht dass man auch noch sein Schlafzimmer zeigt, Privatsphäre sollte man auch nach dem Tod respektieren 🙄
Elvis had tvs in every room! And I’m sure he shot all of them at least once
At some point there was actually a TV graveyard on the Graceland property. True story!
I bet the grandkids open it up
Piano in the backround? I need the music name
Empty Hearted Man
Je suis sûre que tôt ou tard les appartements privées d'Elvis c'est à dire sa chambre sera ouverte au public
Aí as portas se fecharam 😢😢😢
🕺🕺🕺🕺🎸🎸🎸🕺🕺🕺🎸🎸🎸
Out of respect to Elvis? It’s not like they are displaying his underwear? Just so strange. But if they thought that was a way to respect him then that’s nice ❤. I respect that.
But it was His private verry simpel yes he dead but they still own it and i totally get it hé only would let People Come there if he was ok with it not strangers
Everyone's bedroom is private as should Elvis's no one as the right to Go in bed room. There is no need for it as far as I'm concerned. Would we let strangers walk through our bedroom. Don't think so
You can argue many things the logistics of getting thousands of people up and down the stairs and the structure ....i dont think the publics missing anything ...like seeing a bed and tvs built into the ceiling ...
And no i wouldnt want to see the bathroom even if u could thats as bad as seeing the Elvis unit ambulance from aug 16th 1977 ....
Elvis Presley vive en arkansas benton... Rs el pastor Bob Joyce
You feel as though you shouldn't be in there I wasn't aloud in my parents bedroom
So you were aquiet ? lol.
Allowed*
Open up the upstairs. We should be able to see this area.
There have been photos released by li da Thompson Elvis' EX girlfriend that her friend had taken when Elvis was out if town.
💝Vali, can I contact you with a question?💝
Sure 👍
@@ValiGreceanu Vali, could you make a video with an excerpt from the film?
Would love to see a snippet from the 1967 film Clambake, the date in James J. Jamison's room between him and Dianne Carter, starting with the dialogue between them and ending with Scott Hayward leaving the room.
After this episode, you can make another scene from this movie. There Elvis sings a very beautiful song "The Girl I Never Loved" and continue the scene with a dialogue between Scott Hayward and Dianne Carter, then Dianne Carter leaves and Scott Hayward smiles. With this smile, end the scene. Can I ask you for this?
I will try to do this 😊
@@ValiGreceanu ❤🔥Thank you, thank you very much!❤🔥
@@ValiGreceanu 😁👌...
I don’t believe a word of this.
Unfortunately its actually nothing like he left it in 1977
Can’t go up there. I understand. How about PHOTOS of just the. Bedroom. I ca live with that. Remember he wasn’t. Jesus. Just a man. Canada
Jesus was just a man too...and maybe an amalgamation of several.
@@davidsmock8235 Jesus Is King of Kings even Elvis knew that.
@@jodymitchell1492 It wouldn't be the first time Elvis was mistaken.
@@davidsmock8235 I think you're correct. My bet is people are talking to their spirit guides and just think it's Jesus.
As long as you love God I don't think it matters what name you call him.
@@lorimiller4301 Ummm. I'm atheist.
People were not allowed upstairs wasn't because of his death, the monitors to the cameras in the underground tunnel s were upstairs in his bedroom. U know the ones that don't exist
That was in a movie that's not his real bedroom
The footage from “This Is Elvis” was actually shot in his real bedroom. The others shown are reproductions.
Nicolas cage was up there
Ithink it's 👌privat is privat but the photographer looks in the bedroom 😎😢🌹🇦🇹
Ashley Drew posted a version of This Is Elvis that showed the bedroom and bathroom
This information was about as helpful as ........Well nothing. We all already know this.....
Is this the video of his actual room or where can I find it?!
The downstairs carpet was red in one footage but white in another footage, who redecorated it?? Pricilla???? Ginger?????
Dark & coldy .... brrrrrrrrr🥶
Well up stairs is fixing to be open Don’t know exactly when’ since Riley is in charge now lot of things is coming . But I’m sure you want go all the way in to the bedroom probably Half Way I’m guessing they will have it roped off like. Downstairs
Riley is the sole trustee to Elvis Presley Enterprises, she owns only 15%.
the repilca shown here for the movie is very good for it gives fans an idea of what elvis's bedroom looked like though some things are missing in this scene.
the 2 large round chairs that were on either side are not shown and there is not the tiger figure that was on top of the tv nor is the stereo system above it.also missing is the large wooden cabinet with mirrors that was to the left of the bed.and there may have been just one tv that is up on the ceiling instead of 2.the ceiling itself also may not be accurate.i would agree with whoever posted the idea that an accurate reproduction of the 2nd floor of graceland should be built so fans could see the long since closed off 2nd floor that there has been so much fascination with.the company that owns graceland could charge a separate admission and make a ton of money, earning their investment back very quickly.
Lisa Marie SAW Her DAD DEAD When She walked in with Joe Esposito and Ginger and they had to rush her out...!!!! I would NEVER want to see his ROOM / Upstairs in Respect Of Lisa Marie's Wishes.... Replica or not that's my opinion ( REST IN PEACE LISA MARIE PRESLEY - ELVIS AARON PRESLEY )
The house is still a private residence of the Presley family when they visit they stay in the house that's one of reasons why the upstairs is off limits for privacy and when Lisa Marie would visit she stayed in her childhood bedroom upstairs
@@AnthonyGentry NO She didn't she said many times her most sacred place was in her Dad's room!!! look it up.... and she would go in his room ... all the time she didn't just stay in her room go listen to her interviews and her articles in People etc
