I’ve understood that it was Elvis’s Dad Vernon, that filed everything. Kept great records. Never threw anything a way. That the attic in Graceland held anything replaced. If Elvis purchased new table lamps the old one’s went to the attic and so-on.

I’m a big Elvis fan!!! I’ve been to Graceland 11 times since the first week it opened in. 1982. I have a pic of me and my sister sitting in the pink Jeep he drove in movie Blue Hawaii. My moms best friend got a scarf and a kiss from him when he came to Alabama. One of my friends had his picture made shaking his hand on the train when he came through Decatur, Alabama. I had the privilege of meeting Charlie Hodge who told me so many Elvis stories as well as giving me a ride in the green Cadillac he has that belonged to Elvis. It was one of several cadillacs that he got into after getting off stage in the 70s. I got to go to his house twice and spend the day with him and his mother before she passed away! Charlie is buried in my hometown. I felt like I got a feel of Elvis life from Charlie although I would’ve given anything to meet him! He said Elvis would’ve loved you!! wow I'd never ever seen his army gear up so close like that. Thanks for the privilege of sharing your experiences there, and for your excellent comments/explanations. Yes, I'd heard that story about his shooting the TV when Robert Goulet came on.
Ty for highlighting his military career! I heard recently, that < 1% of US families, have someone who has served, or is serving in the military!! I remembered being glued to the tv to watch that 68 Comeback special. I was so happy ! It was very special, at a time when the Beatles were so popular, Elvis still shined !

Wow the memories. My first Elvis song I heard was it's now or never in 1960. It was played in my house over and ovet. Lol now when I hear it it brings a smile to my face. Yep social security cards were made of metal. And I remember his white jumpsuits from the 70s. A lot of artists wore them back then. Thank you Jordan!!

when i was at Graceland many years ago, that TV was not at the mansion but it was across the street in one of the many little independent "Elvis museums". there were dozens of these strip mall museums that all had just a couple of items of his.

Everything you've shown us so far, for Elvis has been great. But this, seeing all of his clothes from all of his movies and the 68 Special, I'm choked up and I'm not even standing there. Just wow Jordan. I kid you not. Thank you. I did not know about this and it's over the top. I've got tears on my face. I'm so happy they preserved all of this. It's humbling.
I'm amazed they still have the TV that got shot up. LOL... Thought he would have thrown it away afterwards. I guess Elvis, having grown up poor, kept everything including the first bicycle his mother bought him. The bike was restored and stands in the entrance of the museum. The staff got lucky: the store that sold it to his mother still existed so they were able to find old color pictures of it and match the paint. It was then sent to a bike repair shop to be meticulously restored. Due to its age, some of its parts had to be replaced with spares. The only thing different about it is the lack of fenders. Elvis loved to modify and and soup up mechanical things so he took the fenders off.
I could really feel Elvis from the moment you looked at his military uniforms. When you got to his dress blues there were tears in my eyes. I am a relatively new Elvis fan though I was a kid in the 50's. I have been looking at his stull/life on TH-cam. What tragedy his life turned out to be. In this exhibition most of all I could feel his presence. The clothes from his '68 special were gorgeous Thank you once again for your wonderful work, Jordan!

Saw Elvis last concert here in Indianapolis. June 26th, 1977 at Market Square Arena. It was an entertaining concert. Hard to believe he would be gone within a few months later.
Elvis' 1956 Gibson J200 guitar that was customised in 1960 was played by other icon Elvis Costello on the Johnathan Ross show and plays Alison on it, his great ballad. Great TV moment.
When I visited Graceland and saw the TV that he ... well you know. I was shocked to know that it wasn't the only one. He's lucky that he didn't become known as "the guy that shoots out TV's"
There’s no one like Elvis or ever will be. Not only his wonderful talent, but his devotion to his fans and his music. So enjoyed seeing the memorabilia from his private life and dazzling costumes from his concerts. Graceland is a fantastic place! So glad I got to visit via your vlogs! Thank you Jordan. Always the best!
Elvis had so much more to offer this world!! I was 11 months old when he died. It makes me so sad that I didn’t get to experience his talent while he was on earth! I’m about ready for another Graceland fix!! It’ll be my 7th time.
Those jumpsuits are incredible. No one else could pull them off. If a singer today walked into stage in one of those, they'd look ridiculous, but it suited Elvis so much. He looked like the coolest guy ever. The If I Can Dream suit was amazing to see here as that's my favourite song.
Hi Jordan, I loved the movie memorabilia suits and jackets. The 68 concert leather outfit was, by far, the best out the lot. I wonder how much that would be worth. Oh, and how AWESOME to see those famous 70's jumpsuits aswell, you can just see him in them like it was yesterday. Great vlog Jordan.
Elvis Presley was a great American Patriot. He could have quite easily dodged the Army to continue his career but he gambled it to serve his country! What young man onto international stardom and fame would risk it all to sacrifrise nearly 2 years of his young life for his country? I can only think of one.......Elvis Aaron Presley! God bless you, sir!

1977 was a year to never forget for as long as anyone will ever live. Of course we lost the King Elvis Presley and also lost was an one of the most iconic movie legends the world had ever seen dating as far back as 1930 when the "Duke" John Wayne lost his battle with stomach cancer. I was at the ripe age of 13 and too young to feel the pain that my older siblings endured especially my beloved grandmother, my fathers mother. when her son, and my father had also perished. I knew eventually I would sadly feel the loss and pain of losing my father as I got older, because I started to remember a lot of father, son times that were recorded in my head but never reviewed and played until people, places and things would just unleash the sad and painful memories that made me live a depressing, sorrowful lonely life throughout my 55 years in this fragile world we live in. My grandmother loved her son immensely and she took the loss very hard, but she also took the passing of Elvis very hard as well because she adored him so much. My father passed in june 17th 1977 and Elvis left the building never to return in Aug 16th 1977 just 2 months apart. What a year to never forget. RIP Dad,Elvis and The Duke🙏🙏🙏
👍Wow! Been a long time since I visited there, and amazing enough it began to snow when standing in front of the gate ,Thanks Jordan for taking me again!

Jordan this is so good. I am binge watching everything Elvis.
So glad you went back to Graceland and showed us more memorabilia. This has been an absolutely awesome series of vlogs on Elvis. Thanks so much, Jordan and congratulations on hitting 67,000+ subscribers!!
I love your vibe ! You just love being there .. thankyou So much for sharing this amazing experience with us all 🌹
There is so much to see. I'm truly amazed. It feels like we were right there with you. Thank you Jordan!!
unreal man, i visted graceland when i was 9. I loved him but i didnt understand the loving of elvis until reacently. Iconic
Yup! Seen Al that! It took my breath !never be another ELVIS but he lives on in all our hearts! Seeing the meditation garden it's a feeling I just can't describe! Thank you! TCB⚡
What’s crazy is wether it was the original or not jus to see the style and the colors that they were is amazing.... I miss the feeling of those days pretty bad ... just those days were so cool and I’m glad I was part of it ... I’m 49 and was only 7 when Elvis died but that impacted a lot of people’s lives ... thanks for sharing ... did see some things I never have before 👍🏻✌🏼🕺🏻
Wow!!!-Thanx so much for showing all of Elvis’s clothes! That dude knew how to dress up for a night out on the town!
That fan was so loyal giving it back to graceland after his passing
I've learned a lot about Elvis in the last week!! Thanks so much for letting us come along!! 👍💚✌
Saw Elvis last concert here in Indianapolis. June 26th, 1977 at Market Square Arena. It was an entertaining concert. Hard to believe he would be gone within a few months later.
Thank you for your hard work, been singing Elvis tunes in my head all morning.
He did that's one of his lesser known titles
It's funny cause I gotta temper like that,
That's why no guns here.
I'm an Elvis Fan from Elkins Park, Pennsylvania. Please do you know any Doug Church in Pennsylvania?
En effet, il visait bien en plus 😂
in some way he did
Elvis may genuinely have lived one of the most insane lives ever
I agree! So epic there's no reason any movie should have ever needed to change 80% of the facts to make Elvis more interesting..
It’s amazing, that he read the gone with the wind, which is one of my fav books too
Great video! He even dressed like a king!👑
Elvis uncle held my dad my grandma knew him. And we actually just went like 1 day ago. We are from Memphis so we had to go. I recommend!
That was so awesome! I loved seeing all of the artifacts. Thanks for showing us!
Thanks Jordan! , Love love love Elvis ❤️. God bless 🙏
Jordan I love Elvis vlog ,my husband and I love Elvis, next year we plan to go to Graceland, thank u for vlogging Graceland can t wait to go and see it ,thank u again u my favourite vlogger, u are a great guy sending hugs from uk x

@@karenritter3888 Thank you. You must a kind person. Can we be friends?
Loved this tour, and your comments! Elvis is an icon and no one comes close !

I was just there a week ago. So much stuff to see. Did the whole graceland tour and it took all day. My wife cried she was so excited and then sad when we came to the grave site. An amazing place with lots of great things to see.
This tour itself was so fun, but Jordan your enthusiasm makes it TWICE as fun!
I dont get tired from watching all videos of Elvis, loved him dearly... Someday I'll make it to Graceland
Loved Elvis all my life, however I didn't know he held the rank of Sargent. Don't know much about his Army life at all. Long live the King.
My grandfather saw and met with Elvis in Dallas. What a cool experience!!
Went there a few years ago its really changed a lot now. Don't know if it's for the better. They are charging a lot more money now which can put people off going. Great upload keep the good work up especially about Elvis.
How much is it
@@MikeyJMJ i
At the moment its about 41 dollars to go around Graceland. You got to double that to go to the other exhibition across the road from Graceland
I was Elvis' left boot for the comback special in fact you can see me in that photo where hes in full lean 10:32
Good times he was a great man and always kept his foot clean for me
I'll never forget the opportunity he gave me to shine thanks El
I remember the day he died me and all of Elvis' other boots and shoes all got together for a celebration of his life
Tears were shed
Laughs were had and
Memories were shared
it was the first time in a long time that I had seen the right boot of the comback special and we just burst into tears when we saw each other
Elvis was a good man
and an even better boot wearer
Thanks again El
I've been to Graceland twice. Love it.

Hello Linda, I'm an Elvis Fan from Elkins Park, Pennsylvania. Please do you know any Doug Church in Pennsylvania?
Loved Elvis then and now.
As someone who will never get to Graceland I'm living vicariously through these vids ..
All I can say is Awesome thank you for sharing this tour Jordan.
Elvis Presley era talento nato. E um homem honrado e humilde com todo dinheiro e fama que tinha
Thank goodness they thought to preserve all these artifacts.
Loved this video, thanks for this one. I live in Georgia at the Tennessee state line and have yet to drive to Memphis. This may have given me motivation to go by the end of the year. I just got into Elvis and he was such an amazing singer, performer and person. I was born the year b4 he passed 76', so growing up in 80s/90s, by then he was portrayed as a character in Las Vegas, movies &t TV, better late than never that I discovered what he really was.
Wow! So much to see. Thank you for sharing - I won't get to go. But since you've taken us with you I've got to see graceland
