The best armchair engineering programme on TH-cam. Watching in awe as the tractor is slowly brought back to life. Thanks Jimmy and Gav for sharing the progress.
Theo is a like a friendly uncle that you find his garden shed tinkering away making fantastic stuff, and talking to you straight. Really enjoyed his segment, bring him back.
I’ve read Theo’s articles for years in Practical Classics and Car Mechanics, but this has brought his words to life! The modern age, thanks Guys this is a lovely series and very professionally filmed!
Wow what an episode. Good to see Theo in on the build. I find it amazing how complex that pump was, being designed and built in the 50's. Can wait for the next one!!
Theo Thank you !!! THIS was an amazingly insightful Episode LOVED IT AND HOPE TO see you in further episodes! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK JIMMY AND GAV! YOU have achieved GREATness in the BARN! A Real Cliff Hangar!!!!???
Excellent episode and what a wonderful chap. Loved the way he went Forrest Gump when he said buttocks 😆😆 brilliant loved it even though you and Gav weren't darting arround. Ok that's mainly Gav. P.S don't forget the hot wheels matchbox challenge. Until next time stay safe
Jimmy de Ville's Garage my 15 year old has a TEF20 in garage we are restoring/refurbishing. Thankfully. Injectors ok . We need more content and cake. Inspiration to a younger crew keep it coming.
Got love the inside of a mechanical pump. Another great upload mate I really enjoyed it mate. There's some sort of pleasure watching a man in a shop making a pump work. Thanks mate 👍👍 We also managed to locate a starter for the p3 so hopefully it will be running again soon. It's still Gavs turn to provide Cake be sure and remind him.👍
Really enjoyed this Episode, Lovely man definitely knew his stuff. HOWEVER as you say Jimmy, cost of complete new one or to rebuild, I'll wait and see, Good Luck Guys.
Really enjoyed that, I’m a long term PC subscriber and TG always comes out with some crackers, his article pg50 of December PC is hilarious. Good work team, p.s surely you’re gonna spend a few quid and save it? I’d buy another and use it for parts
Hi JImmy, did you manage to sort some rear wheels for the fergy, if you haven't the farm machinery guy i do work for (google dave/david Rushton Machinery, Uttoxeter) said he has some that should fit, not original Fergusson but if theres nothing else also are the wheels you've got one or two piece (rim with seperate centre plate) if it's two piece can you have just "new" rims instead of whole wheels?
I have P3 Diesel conversion (1947) I changed the diesel pump but can’t get it started. It turns over but the timing seems out to not allow it to fire up. I remember diesel pump place in Sheffield said something about a viewing cover and adjusting. Anyone have any ideas? Found it in another episode “Will it run after 31 years...” 😃
Its in better condition than yours lol. it was running 4 years ago. One or two of the elemnts has stuck with standing. apparently they dont like modern diesel. I had another one on the shelf so i used it. You can have it for the cost of the postage. love the project!

He's a big part of the team!
Theo was bloody unreal. He's the kind of bloke you want to work with in a Garage.
He's the best!
Yeah I could have used his knowledge a few times

Thank you Tim!
Would it have been a bad idea to soak it in paraffin or diesel for a week or two? Just wondering in case I need to rebuild my 35x!
@@timstinson1 He did soak it with penetrating oil I believe.
What a fantastic episode.
Thank you!
You're welcome 👍
Tray with a lamb biryani :D. It's amazing what men in sheds can accomplish.
Bless you sheds!

Loved that, but not enough Gav! Also sounded like Jimmy was trapped in a cupboard. Keep up the good work guys, helping make lockdown bearable.
We are doing all we can do. Thanks.
Super episode, lovely relaxed commentary and fantastic descriptions of the process. Spot on yet again.

We are doing everything we can but parts aren't an easy find. We've tried another. it was worse! We'll see!
@@Torquestamiya pleasure you watch, ps I bought the yellow Tonka t-shirt

Still working to solve the wheel problem. Uttoxeter!!! Brings back memories, an old family stomping ground. Jimmy

can you, and where can you get spare screws, and such like. Please can you help.
learnt a lot from this but #NOGAV no Ice creame or Cake news which is a big let down, see you in two weeks
More to come, don't you worry!
Do parts washers not exist in England?
Shame to go to all that a realise that its not viable to rebuild. Great work stripping it down.
We're still working on a solution. We'll see.
Hi. I have a pump you could have for spares. let me know if you want it.
Interested Andrew. What state is it in? Can you post? Happy to pay.
