The Camaro Z/28 is a badass track capable monster, and despite having a $75,000 MSRP, you can get a very nice one for $45,000 now! What is it like to own one of these? What are the pros and cons? Check out this video to see the ownership perspective!
I bought a 2015 Z/28 with only 700 miles for $45000. The car is awesome!!!

Until my wife got hers I wasn’t a big Camaro fan, I always was in mustangs but I have to admit it’s a hell of a car.

Love the car but when I made my purchase I went with the C6 Z06. I’ve owned several Camaro’s and love them but the corvette is just a step and I’ve always wanted. The black on black Z u bought is nasty though hope u enjoy it. Great video!!

In terms of the stiff suspension”.... Jay Leno said they got the suspension from an F11.5 million $ McLaren” remember I had Steeda suspension on my cobra” Women would say god this thing rides like shit” but then my buddies” would say” God I love the way this rides...
Bluetooth can be streamed. Set the input to AUX then click the center of the dial on right. I think it says menu/config.

The Z28 is gorgeous and that particular body style of Camaro is the nicest one IMO.

I can’t imagine an 18 hour drive. I own a 2018 SS2 and my back is killing me after a 2 hour drive to LA. I love my camaro but those seats suck.

I had a tuned E92 335i manual and much prefer my 17 SS 1LE over it. Z28 is something else with that LS7 though
I have a 2017 SS 1LE and if I'm honest, have to say this Z/28 looks better.... killer car at an amazing price!!!

devnull128 I agree. The 5th gen camaro is the ONLY 5th gen I like as far as looks go. I do like the 6th gen ZL1 as far as looks. I pretty much hate the looks of any other 5th and 6th gen camaros
I have a 17 Black 1LE. This DOES look sooo good ugh. I WANT BOTH haha but seriously...i would have considered a black Z28. I just think that suspension is way too harsh on the road
5th gen looks like crap compared to 6th gen, this is just poor mans envy. 6th gen 1LE obliterates this antiquated garbage on any track

@EddieX you can use bluetooth to stream music from your phone, I have a 2010 Camaro SS and for some reason there are actually two different profiles for the camaro, there is one for making calls and another for music. its called GMusicConnect. you have to go searching through the menu to find it but its definitely there.
Sean That's actually only on the SS trim. Anything below and it doesn't have GMusicConnect
oh i didnt know that, but if the SS has it, it wouldn't make any sense not to put it on the Z/28 as well.
Sean Well keep in mind, this car didn't even come with one in the first place so when you add the option to add one, they probably just throw in the basic one
Hate that these have engine problems though. I like cars stock and I couldn’t feel safe having this car stock. And these are 55-70k now 😂
My 2015 ss can stream bluetooth, i think its because that z28 has a more base level radio
So my 2010 2SS has this radio and I can stream audio from my phone.

The local speed shop has one where a guy bought a '15 Z/28 for his wife to make into a drag car. The carbon ceramic brakes were removed in back and a straight axle was installed. So sad.

Car needs a 200 pwm package and a 50 dollar radio program fee to activate Bluetooth streaming. It is basically adding the gm convenience package to the car. Many of us 2010-20122 1ss owners know this pain.

He can't stream music because he doesn't have MyLink. It's an option. If he must have bluetooth streaming, it's an easy swap to the other Chevy touchscreen MyLink. My 2LT has it.

You absolutely can steam Bluetooth on there. There's a second gm connect you have to setup for the music stream. I owned one and thought the same thing however I found the guide online I'll see if I can link you. It's super non-intuitive

Abraham Romero different engines, suspension,brakes and on the z/28 is NA when the zl1 is supercharged. There are many of things but these are the main ones
That is if you are comparing the same year (2015) the new zl1 is a completely different beast

The valve guides were an issue on the early C6 Zo6's of 2006, 2007...been long fixed by the time the Z28 came out so hammer away!

Lol nowhere near that price. the rotors are harder to find now and have actually gone up in price since the c6 ZR1 ended production but are still found in the 1000-1100 ea range. I use these same rotors on my GTR. on top of the fact for the avg joe they will last the life of the vehicle.

It is their are 500 2014 and 1,228 2015 give or take a few 2015 In 2016 they sold over 40,000 corvettes so they are rare
The 5th Gen Z28 is more rare than a 1970 Superbird 1935 vs 1807 for the Z28 and why their value keeps creeping up.
