Coming from someone who owns a 2014 GT500 making 882 rwhp, this Z28 is absolutely beautiful and tastefully built. Great job fellas!
We appreciate the positive feedback- some real salty haters out there…it’s nice to have people
Who appreciate what we built. Stay safe out there and enjoy the GT500!
@@floridahighperformance
Haters are everywhere ya go, can't escape em no matter how hard ya try. It's all about appreciation and looking past the brand.
the day i make my camaro have this kind of potential is the day i'll be happy.
i got a 2014 2ss. fixed it all myself after snagging it from auction, and i'm still young and all but i'm slowly but surely getting everything done responsibly.
.. the main thing is trying to save up money these days with how expensive everything's gotten. someday i'll get there, i already got the hardest part out of the way and thats getting my hands on a camaro.
Thank for watching!
You guys are the leaders at reliable builds and anytime I see some of your products down here in Texas you guys really go out of your way to make everything look presentable and customers love your work! Keep up the amazing work guys
We appreciate that very much thank you Sir
That cam is beautiful ❤ asmr
Thank you- we agree! Car is still on the road, running strong!
Love this Z28 build guys, also great content and editing, subscribed!
Thank you for the positive comment. We appreciate it very much and will keep putting out quality content!
Great video, thorough, and great explanation on why you went with a less LSA cam due to the blower. You want to not let all that compressed air bleed past the exhaust valve from the combustion chamber with a blown example. At that point you’re just wasting compressed air. And great bottom end build especially with keeping the factory displacement. Many do go to a 6.2 because it’s boost friendly but then the 7.0 is lost.
👍🦅🇺🇸💪
Geeez, this thing is so awesome!!! Insane the amount of work put into that engine. Badass
Thanks for the kind words....appreciate it!
That’s a healthy daily! Nice work FLHP!
Thanks baby!
Man that car sounds good
Thank you, I agree
Impressive horsepower and torque without E85 or Meth! A truly great machine! Thanks for the video!
Thanks!
Wow beautiful Camaro Wicked sound and sounds really strong thank you for sharing
Thanks a lot
Outstanding!
Glad you like it!
Looking good brother 🍻
Thanks so much!
Hardest working and most attention-to-detail GM performance builder in Florida...PERIOD.
Thank you brother! I appreciate that coming from you.
Great Build
Thanks brother. I appreciate that very much.
Beautiful camaro, awesome build!
Thank you for the compliment we appreciate it
This is the gaurd this is sick very nice put together video
Hey buddy- names Erik- sorry, rude of me not to introduce myself. HIT THAT SUBSCRIBE BUTTON MORE GOOD SHIT COMING! Thanks for working the guard gate man we appreciate it.
Yessir! Aside from the lifter failure, I f*cking love the LS7 427 engine, I like it even better in Camaro vs the C6 ZO6 'Vette.
Agreed
Sweet! Now that’s a Z/28!
thank you!
Damn I love that build that’s the only way I would pass up on a zo6 if I can get my hands on one of those
I will own a red z28 one day for sure
Nice Z28 hope to get a Z28 one day
ME TOO! Red one...
That car was built with really reliable parts. I wouldn't doubt that car seeing 100k miles.
He drives it almost daily...all I have done are oil changes and a belt tensioner...literally that is it since the video was shot...thing is NASTY awesome
Got my sub just for having my dream car and my favorite available color from the factory and I shared it on Facebook
Thanks for the love 🍺🍺👊👊
Amazing
Thanks for the positive reply! We appreciate it
Not a huge fan of the Darren sleeves in the 5.3 block cool yes but not factory 427 I would have went LSX 427
LSX 427 Is a stout unit…way way overkill for this vehicle. Not to mention HEAVY. Funny you mention the 427 LSX…this guy also owns a 13 ZL1 that’s getting a 427 LSX :). Thanks for checking out the video
Thanks, you seem like a really cool guy!!
I try to connect with the viewer and put good content out with the BS…just tell it like it is- I appreciate you
@@floridahighperformance Thanks, I have a 22 ZL1 1 LE with a mag,104, cam, heads on and and on .... l LOVE that Z28!! 427 as a 63 year old .... love that number!!!!!!!
@@davidciesielski8251 sounds like a beast - check out our ZL1 1LE bad Punkn…episode 2 drops next week- we throw more boost and race gas at her
Beautiful car badass built 🔥🔥🔥 how much $$$?
Thank you! About 40k to build this parts and labor
F^%KING Beautiful. Guys!!!!!
Thanks!
Would this car be daily driveable if I used to 800 miles per month? Mainly highway miles
Absolutely- 100% reliable
Stock rear end?
Yes
Sounds amazing 👏
Thanks!
Curious..does your company work with 4th gen Z28s??
Absolutely
@@floridahighperformance I may have to look further into this. I have a 98Z28 6M that I would like to eventually one day have some NA upgrades done to it
98 is the toughest year to mod...I wouldn't mess with it unless its a 99+....just being honest,
Why is it hard to build @@floridahighperformance
What was the compression on that 427?
10-1
I’m currently planning out a similar build in my head except I’d like to replace the heads with ported LS3/LSA heads so a zl1 Kong 2650 blower can sit nicely on top. Will it work? No clue. Is it worth it? Probably not. Is it badass? Hell ya!
Check out Brodix BR7 Series Rec Port heads- they’re designed to work with 4.125 bore.
I take 2 Please! ;)/ Sweet...
It might just be me but I would of thought the horse power and torque #'s to be higher than that.. 🤔🤔??🤷🤷
You’re not far off- this is a 93 only car on low boost. We could throw a fuel system at it- maybe some meth an e85, make 20 lbs of boost and it would be 1000 rwhp all day long. Owner didn’t want that- just nice basic modest set up that he drives anywhere anytime. We are building him an LSX 427 for his 13 ZL1 which will be featured here as well- that’ll make some juice. Thanks for checking the video out.
Lawd have mercy!
YESSSS
Hey what the cam spec on this monster cam
I don't have them in front of me. It was a custom grind we put together for the boosted 427.
What rear end is in it? Gear ratio?
Stock
3.91
Would it have been easier & cheaper to have started w/ a ZL1 platform?
ZL1 isn’t a Z28….not sure why you’d compared the two as to the cost and difficulty to mod.
Actually you ruined the Z28 by superchargering it. The true heritage of the Z28 is naturally aspirated.
@@mikewarren6774 well Mike, I’m sorry you’re so bitter about the car. Heritage? Sure- NA LS7 is standard in the car- but I’d say it’s a far cry from RUINED. Cheer up Pal!
@Florida High Performance Dude I own a 2015 Z28 and I'm always disappointed when people trash the heritage of this car just to make it a burn out machine
@@mikewarren6774 I hear you- but to each their own. If it makes you feel better, I don’t disagree with you…I’d keep my z28 NA too…but nothing wrong with what my client did- it’s still a Z28
Just devalued the
Z/28 by replacing the original motor.
Value is relative. Enjoying your vehicle is not.
how much to build something like this????
About 25-30k
WOW 🥺 don't take this the wrong way but for business since the Hellcats out the box seems like a safer buy.... never for me I'm Chevy til I die.... lastly you guys do amazing jobs and you'll should find away to work the numbers down and sell to GM and offer a similar car for $60-75 out the box ✌🏾
@@tonyyoung6738 💀 you can’t be serious no way you’re serious 😂 Nobody is thinking abt a damn hellcat when owning a Z28
@@isiahgomez6860 I said I'm a Chevy guy...if given a hellcat I'd trade it in ok...I was simply saying for the price to beef up a z28 or camaro the cat made more since sad to say but it's facts given its factory Hp
@@tonyyoung6738I mean you have the zl1. There is more to it than hp hellcats are heavy as shit and really the slowest of the big 3s top muscle cars.
Yeah everything made for the track except for those all season tires 😂
Never sees the track, and drives in all seasons...CHECK MATE
