great video, one on reducing warping would be great 4656 tend to suffer a lot from it, also beer cars/refrigerated of the 4600 series. And one video on unlocking rotors of locos would be great, some people recommend hair dryer but i dont find it efficient.

Another great video. Those couplers on the self-unloading wagons are quite different from what we are used to seeing on rolling stock. Also your collection is growing by leaps and bounds. Love that collection management software application you're using. I use it as well. #wink

the "wax" did not isolate against current?

@@fernlenkerTrack Magic is more a UK thing. Any track cleaner will do the same job or SR24. You can even use a drop of smoke fluid... Most of it is pretty much the same stuff: paraffin... And it won't hurt the conductivity.

Wow, what a fantastic collection. We have just started out with a Märklin analogue lay out and do agree that these type of videos are most appealing and educational. Although we are not into collecting M we must admit that doing so can become quite alluring, but we do try to restrain ourselves. Such a pity that M in the UK is such a niche since OO there is the thing. Hence, as it seems M has little, if any, British rolling stock to offer, except the Hogwarts express which seems to be a converted Hornby model scaled towards OO. Not that we are into British locos but we would have liked to add a few, converting them ourselves but then there is the scale issue, sadly. But that aside, what an impressive and most enjoyable collection 🙂

M used to produce a lot of British outline stuff in its early days, unfortuntately the 1st world war dampened the appetite for German toys in the UK and the adoption of a slightly larger scale for 00 finished the job. Hornby conversions don't run well on Märklin track in my opinion, I did a few in my digital days, and was never satisfied with result. Thanks for spending some of your valuable time on the channel, I am glad you enjoyed the video.
