Hello Fritz. My name is Arnaldo. Your videos are very good and educational. I gave my son an M240 (2017). I would like more explanations about CASTER x CAMBER. Thank you in advance and also to know why you decided and thought it best to make these changes to these bars and change the STOCK settings. I intend to install the Bilstein B16 EDC as well and lower the STOCK height of the car a little.
@@FritzRamos I'll be doing the chargepipe and IC for preventative maintenance purposes next (will be referring to your vid :D), but yes coilovers eventually for slightly better handling and to get rid of the wheel gap our cars came with.
Did you not take out the axle bolt? I am replacing my thrust arms with stock ones, can I also do it without removing the axle bolt? This would be the best case scenario as the axle bolts from bmw are $40
I was thinking of doing Lemforder with monoballs till I saw this video. Anyone have any opinions on the SPL thrust arm vs the monoball. Now I'm going down the rabbit hole with the lower and tie rod ends. SPL sells the whole kit for $1600. Would it be odd to do the monoball with the spl lower? For a e82 btw.
Hi, I’m planning to go m LCAs and m thrust arm together. Will M thrust keep the caster not going forward on M235? I’m planning to run 255 at front. Idk if M LCA and M thrust will be helpful.
The M sport control arms will move the wheels slightly forward unless you do the msport thrust arms. That's why I went with spl. Also the bushings are better on spl parts You'll also need spacers for the front
@@FritzRamos Thx so much for replying! Do I need spacers on hubs or spacers for Thrust Arm Bushing? I’ve been going through these post, I’ll need 15mil and 2mil spacers on bushings. Will I keep OEM casters after installing both M LCA and M TS? Really struggle😹😹
You're supposed to torque down the bolts when the suspension is under load, not up on a lift. I had to say the same thing when you did the lower control arms. Double checked to make sure that what I said is true and then fire your mechanic. Not joking
I believe this is only true for rubber bushes. Since the monoball bushes operate differently and can rotate freely unlike the rubber bushes they can be torqued down without needing to be loaded.

Mostly for wheel fitment.

Good stuff man. Love the content. Any plans to drop the
ride height?
Thank you. I don't have plans to lower it in the near future, but things could change. Is that next in line for you?

@@pflowing Nice and I'm glad the videos help. Coilovers! Nice pick can't wait to see what you get
Did the SPL trust arms make any noise?
No additional noise. The steering wheel has a bit more resistance

No. I think that's an X drive thing though
Did you reuse all of the torque to yield bolts on these control arms?

Hey, what's the outcome? What is your toughts after 1 year of use

How have these held up over time? Also how do they compare to the VAC monoball option from kies?
Haven't tried those so I wouldn't know. If it's just a bushings then the only difference would be the adjustment portion
@@FritzRamos You refuse to answer the question... HOW IS THE FEELING OF BEING DAILY DRIVEN WITH THE ADJUSTABLES???
Do you have any rubbing issue? I got the same setup as you but the nut of the tie rod link are scrubbing the tension rod.
If I'm just looking to add some camber on my car is the tension rod needed? or can I just run the lower control arm by itself?
bro there are so many bushings in this car
Will this work/fit on Xdrive f30 models ?
Where did your muffler tips go?
The car didn't come with them
