Having fun...isn't that the goal and I'm starting now at 70, so simple is a good thing and so many people in Thailand ride scooters and that's fine for town navagating but to explore Thailand with the Forza 300, now that sounds perfect...I guess we'll see and Thailand is where I'm heading...

I'm in my late 40s and have been riding big bikes from the age of 16. My last bike was a BMWR1200GS adventure. I down-sized to a used Suzuki Burgman 200 and have never looked back! It's not the size or status of the bike that matters but how you connect with it. I can carry twice as much stuff on the scooter (for a fraction of the cost) too!!

I totally agree. I went to this year's motorcycle show in February and sat on about a thousand bikes. Some were my "dream" bikes. In the end I still liked what I already had and at most would probably only opt to buying a newer model.
