    Perhaps this idea will temp you to add a foot pedal controller to your winch set up (like a sewing machine control or a gas flow for welding) so you can keep two hands on the job and creep a bit of tension with your foot. Regards from Scotland.

    Since you did this video to help trappers without a machine you should do a video using the HAGz tail hook for muskrats. It works GREAT! I learned to skin with 2 guys, 1 holds and 1 cuts. This would be a great video to help beginners or anyone else that wants an easier way to do it. And they are inexpensive to buy!
    Good videos!

    So is the 2x4 just elevated at one end and the rest kind of dangling - one end on the ground and one elevated by the chain?

    • @CrenshawMafia7
      @CrenshawMafia7 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's what it looks like I looked up the item he had wasnt much to it basically a chain hooked to a 2x4 with a metal v notch the chain would catch on. Pull board up step down,pull board up step down. I just skinned out my first otter today wish I had that 3rd hand. Looks like I'll be getting my spare parts together and making one.
