Awesome video! I love the passion you have for what you are doing but more importantly the respect you have for the animals. Growing up I lived across the street from a well known and respected trapper. His name was Harry Thompson. As a kid I would spend hours on his basement stairs watching him skin animals. He too had the same passion and respect that you do. True sportsman!
I got hooked on your ice fishing videos, even though I've experienced some ice fishing horrors. Now you got me hooked on your trapping videos, damn it!!! Wish I were forty years younger! Donny gives me hope! Thanks for your passion!
Very interesting video Joe. Thank you for showing us amateurs how it's done. Really appreciate your respect for the animals. Thank you again for making these videos.
Awesome thanks for the video, super interesting to watch the process! Looking good joe! Seems the trap lines whipping you into shape for the upcoming fishing season. Definitely would be interested in a longer video of you skinning and just telling stories. Also would love to see some beaver trapping go down! Thanks as always.
Looks like you're losing some LBs and building muscle. It's always easiest to exercise while you're having fun doing something you love. Great job Joe! We're all proud of you.
Probably yes leave them fur in for tanning, I can always turn them back inside out but I like them ready for market and seeing them for their colors for now.
COOL never seen the skinning in a long time, here it was musk rats you are one of a kind my friend. You know if i was not in northern Wisconsin, Maine is the only two states i would ever want to be in.
Out friggin standing , Joe. Always wanted to see it done and explained. By the way, was watching a trapper in Alaska that uses fish for bait. I remember a few videos ago you tossed one in and not sure if it was used. One guy does, lol.
Thank you! I get them either from my local trapping store SOS Set on Sign in Maine , I can make them, and there's a good pace in MN called Top Lot Stretcher Co.
If making one I use a band saw mill then a planer then a band saw then a sander. Otherwise I just buy them. Top Lot Stretcher Co makes a great stretcher board.
