I was going to write the same thing. 4T soy sauce and then salt. So many vegan recipes overdo salt to make up for what they think is lost cuz it's vegan, smh

This recipe is great and i used with 2 different mushrooms each time! The 2nd time i added jalapeño and finely chopped ginger to the onions and peppers. Then i added gochujang sauce to the merinade for a little extra kick

I want to switch off meat n I haven’t found any mushrooms near me so I’m planning on growing them n I’m really excited to invest in my health on a deeper level: )
I would think rehydrating would be better. I haven't tried it either way. But I don't think freezing would be good as mushrooms contain lots of water. Let me know if you try it out
LMAO at "Mother of God." One gets downright religious when you put your (and your neighbor's) foot all in a recipe! Your marinades alone make my mouth water. I plan to replicate this mushroom recipe. Hey, I might be exclaiming, "The blood of Jesus cover me, for it's about to get UNHOLY up in my kitchen!"
Can anyone help me troubleshoot what went wrong? I followed everything to the letter, when I was browning the mushrooms they turned brown after 2 minutes so I turned the burner down as low as it could go and gave it another minute, then put the mushrooms in over heat about halfway between low and medium on my ovens dial and after 15 minutes everything had cooked down and over all it was more black and chunky than deliciously brown looking like in the video, I wanted the crispiness from the oven so I put it in at 425 and after 5 minutes it was already burning/charring. I possibly could have used more mushrooms to soak up more of the marinade. Any insight/tips would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
Hmmm 🤔idk why this happened. I know everyone’s oven is different some are hotter than others. Maybe set oven to 350 next time so it can cook at a lower temperature and mix it half way through to prevent it from burning.
@@LexusIvana Yeah that seems to be the consensus from the googling I’ve done. The mushrooms tasted great, but the charred bits held it back from its full potential. I will give 350 a try next time! Thanks :)
I made this last night with portobello mushrooms. Served with wheat noodles and stir fried vegetables! Wonderful!! SO good!!!

Try brown rice noodles which are gluten free and are better than wheat which has a lot of gluten that is not good for your intestines.
Keep away from wheat, its toxic. Use millet.
