What about putting in a system that allows you the owner only let the cars do a certain speed and say if they want to go to the track or somewhere you recommend to could turn it off so they could get the full experience? Also what about putting in a breathalyzer in the cars like some courts do for people who gotten DWI or DUI? I couldn’t imagine what that would cost per car but maybe something to look into

You noticed the K rail in the parking lot of the of the Jack in The Box? Why because the owners in that bar have been hit so many times by speeding and drunk drivers when they loss it. @@Globbs 100% correct, but any lazy FTC employee could make the argument talking about “prices” looks suspicious when even he points out there is only a couple rental companies in Vegas and you can’t really start one up… again, not trying to insinuate anything, but words like that are open to a lot of interpretation within the FTC.

Something like this happened in Bangalore last month. 7 people were travelling in an Audi q3(5 seater) at a high rate of speed in a 2 lane road and crashed into a building. The video looked like it is straight out of a movie. Impact was so hard that rear of car lifted up in the air and fell, motor split in half and went inside the cabin and killed all 7.

Ill be honest. Not big into Houston but respect his game. Not only that, it's commendable the role you are taking to actually improve on safety. Its great that you can open doors to see what goes on behind the scenes and the legal side of these issues. This definitely changes my perception and I'm interested in seeing what happens in the near future with this. Good on you Houston for just not sitting back on this serious aspects if rental business.

Your gonna end up seeing these exotic rental car companys start to install speed limiters in their cars. I think a company should come out with some sort of gps system that will shut a rental car down when doing excessive speed. Maybe this would help save lives, reduce injury, and ensure everyone can enjoy the exotic car community within limits.

Well suprise, suprise.... people do not buy or rent a Lambo or Ferrari to drive 30MPH :-D You can do that in a Camry.
Anyway people are crashing daily and dying in any cars. Any modern car for 20-30k can drive way over 100-120+MPH.
There is not so much difference between drunk idiot in Camry and drunk idiot in Lambo. They can cause pretty much the same damage.
There is no protection in the world against some people's stupidity.
