People used to make fun of me because of my beard but I just ignorant them and continued following the Sunnah and made dua to Allah AWJ to guide those brothers.
What makes me stop worrying about slander, is because i'm sure, if they don't make tawbah, Allah will make them responsible sooner or later. In this dunya, or in the day of judgement.
But, yes, i agree... praying to Allah to guide them is better. Jazakumullah khairan for making and sharing this video.

This is a *real* piece of advice right here. Growing up as a Malay muslim, I've noticed this phenomenon to be more rampant around our community. Sure, there's bound to be slander and rumours spread in every part of the world, but it feels like this problem is plaguing specifically in ours.
Maybe if your religion didnt take part in killing, raping, and subjugating women and gays.

It really is painful when you experience getting backstabbed or hearing that people talked ill behind you. It's hard to overcome at first but when I experienced it, all I did was to pray at Allah and ask for him to lessen the pain in my heart or desensitize my heart so it wouldn't be to painful. Now most of my problems are solved, all praises to Allah. Every Muslims out there, stay strong and pray to the Almighty.

@@jakel7820 common misconceptions! For the first one, yes that's true with the exception of going out when needed as mentioned in this hadith sunnah.com/bukhari/67/170. As for the second misconception. Unlike the above one which is half true this one is totally wrong because that goes against what allah said in chapter 60 verse 8 and 9 "Allah does not forbid you from those who do not fight you because of religion and do not expel you from your homes - from being righteous toward them and acting justly toward them. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly. Allah only forbids you from those who fight you because of religion and expel you from your homes and aid in your expulsion - [forbids] that you make allies of them. And whoever makes allies of them, then it is those who are the wrongdoers."
And chapter 2 verse 190 suggests we fight those who are mentioned in the previous verse, those who fight us, yet we cannot aggress others "Fight in the way of Allah those who fight you but do not transgress. Indeed. Allah does not like transgressors.". I hope this clears out the misconceptions you heard. Stay open minded for the truth and you'll find it easy to acknowledge and do not easily believe in slander.
