- This is a message from the heart to all those that are going through a struggle of some sort and are reaching out for help.
So many times we are lost for words on how to respond to someone going through a hardship and we don't know what to say or how to act. We can offer as many words of support as possible to make them feel better, but the truth is just being there is what matters the most.
May Allah make it easy for all those going through difficulty in their life. Never forget Allah is always with you - stay patient and keep going strong.

I suffer from deep depression from my previous life before I became I Muslim. It's very hard to overcome certain things but Alhamdulillah I try my best & put everything in Allah swt hands. Khalas

@@footballpsycho7155 - I converted and now my closet brother doesn't speak to me. I was shot in 2006 and have had 15 surgeries (2 complete ankle replacements with 4 major surgeries scheduled for 2019 & 2020) live with severe chronic pain. Had to medically retire from my dream job due to injuries. No longer can do physical activities like basketball, hiking, mountain climbing & even cooking a simple meal wears me down etc (I'm 39 yr old) and just walking to the store is a huge challenge due to the pain in foot and knee. What I've seen in war still haunts me. There are more but those are the main things that stick out most times. But Alhamdulillah. I know my condition is bad but I also know there are at least 2 billion people who have it worse than I. Alhamdulillah for all the good. Alhamdulillah for all bad.

I've felt this so many times but when I get hit again I fall again. With every wave that hits it feels as though I'm getting weaker. No matter how many times I am reminded I still feel so broken at times.

EDIT: Those of you who are going through hardship, just know there is always light at the end of the tunnel. You may not believe that it’s exists because you don’t feel it. But it does. You gotta fight the Battle within yourself and turn to Allah. There are resources out there , that could help you

I was so depressed that I became suicidal, and then one day I remembered that I should put all my trust in Allah and now I'm better, and getting better by each day with every Salah and every dua that I make,

You see Gods plan, its the best. Allah did this to you so you get closer to him, its a recurring theme to many Muslims. Remember "it is Allah who we belong to and it is Allah who we return to". Meaning we belong to him he owns ourselves and everything, if he decided in his infinite wisdom to cause us struggle then we accept and its Allah who we return to is a timely bomb. We will return to our Lord so we need to gains high spirituality we need to get as close as possible to Allah.

Ways to reduce: -
1 / Uninstall all the unnecessary apps on the mobile.
2 / Uninstall all the types of games (delete with information, data and achievement of the game so that even if you install the game again, you have to play from the beginning again)
3 / Uninstall all the types of social apps. And if you can't do that, do not enter every day for 15-20 days or after 1 month, enter once and do all the work (such as uploading photo, video, inviting to Islam and if you want to do any other work) and uninstall after working.
4 / Keep mobile data and Wi-Fi off as much as possible.
5 / Bring the use of TH-cam within the limitation (for example, by clicking on the download option on youtube, download some videos, watch them, turn off mobile data and Wi-Fi).
6/ Timely 5 time prayeing Salaah.
7 / First of all, there should be a desire to reduce the use of mobile phones.

let me tell a story i was crying and making dua in isha prayer i begged Allah that if he cant get me out of depression plz send someone who can and he listened to me i have a friend who i opened up to ... opening up to someone was really had cuz i kept my depression and suicidal nature a secret for 2 years but now i got someone that someone is sent by Allah there are times i just wanns leave that person but deep down i feel like if i leave that person it means im rejecting Allahs help

@@megas5343 Well that is your test brother! I had depression last year and suicide was always on my but I always remembered what Allah will do to me if I suicide and stopped. Kept making dua for the depression to go. I did not usually do my 5 prayers but when I started to do them I swear the depression started to go away. Just remember when you are doing salat when in sujud postion do Dua and surely your life will be a lot better. Put all your trust in Allah like me and your life will be a lot better.

He is stronger than stress and depression so it's basically depression side of him that left him after reminding himself to rely on Allah swt but you only realise he was talking to himself at the end

Even the days all you do is the basics. Some days thats all we can do and alhamdulliah thats ok. If you wanna give up and you don't have a reason to stay think of this. In'sha'Allah it helps.
One day you meet Allah and He grants you Jannah Al-Firdaus. You walk in and forget all the pain you ever felt and then you see His face. Yes all that time he was talking to him self, his grief and depression was consuming him but he overcomes and motivates them with His faith and teachings of the Quran. His mental torment played out as two people arguing like our mind does all the time, but for some people one side of the Nafs can over power the other.

It all started to surface in 2012, the panic attacks the social anxiety, feeling of failure, the intrusive thoughts, I couldn't take it sought medication.they numbed me the mind went silent I thought I was finally at peace. How wrong was I the numness sent me into deep depression. My memory, my emotions, my energy, my drive any ambition everything gone, I can't even cry if I tried. I'm just an shell of my old self, I discarded the meds a longtime ago but the numbness is still there. Pray that Allah end this test and lift this sickness from me. Ameen

Look into Islam. As the brother said "Verily in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest". Everyone goes through depression including Muslims, but turning back to God helps ease things off our chests. When you feel like you have no one to talk to, you need to turn to Allah, since He is always listening and always hearing. When we commit sins, we feel guilty knowing we're doing wrong, and we turn back to Allah in repentance...no matter how many times you commit the same sins over and over again...never lose hope in Allah's mercy. This last bit I'm saying for myself cuz i commit too many sins :(

You've already made it this far just a little bit more, when i was suicidal a few years ago i didnt know what ease in life was, i had never tasted the light and real life like others because before that point i had basically lived all my life abused by my dad who has narcissistic personality disorder but then at about 17 god made everything better, he fixed up everything and cured me, i never thought this was possible, for everything to get better but i swear to god it did, its possible trust me, just hold on a bit longer :)

Wow I’m currently always feeling depressed and this came to my feed 😭 I break down almost everyday I cry my heart aches and I run home from work I’ve become so weak that I always have suicidal thoughts but my faith in allah is what has kept me alive.
Always remember that Allah test those he love most just to get you closer to him. And always thank him for everything. May Allah protect and guide you sister❤

I'm only 12 and almost 1/5 of the 30 students in my class suffer from depression or anxiety. Or even lack of self esteem. And I go to a pretty "regular" middle school in NYC. Its so sad to see so many people affected by others and life at home.

Go look at the ones who are happy and you'll come to find that Dhikr has a powerful effect on the heart and is a direct cure for depression. Not just merely saying "Subhan Allah" but actually feeling it. Example looking at the sunrise and than saying "Subhan Allah" Allah has given me another day to live. Or pondering over the beauty of the birds and thinking how amazing Allah Is (this is the remembrance of Allah as well and it just has an amazing effect on the mind, body and soul. The problem is that most games etc... today push away people from remembering Allah truly and we are stuck basically in our own worlds. Living fast - eating unhealthy - dying young. Allah is all knowing he is the greatest of planners whatever happens is according to his and just his will. Think about it your Lord, your creator whose love is 70 times more than a mothers love for her child, he is doing it for a reason, it is Allah who you belong to, if in his infinite wisdom decided to put you through unimaginable pain then you accept it, and strive to get closer to Allah for it he who you will return to. Allah has put the Holy Prophet SAW through the absolute upmost pain, pain experienced by no one on this earth. But why, isn't the Holy Prophet the greatest prophet most loved by Allah. Allah tests those who he loves. You need to trust your creator, the Lord of all the worlds, the master of the 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐣𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, Allah.

One of the righteous deeds during these days is to remember Allaah by reciting takbeer (saying “Allaahu akbar”) and tahleel (saying “Laa ilaaha ill-Allaah”)
One form of the Takbeer.
Allaahu akbar, Allaahu akbar, laa ilaaha ill-Allaah, Allaahu akbar, Allaahu akbar, wa lillaahi’l-hamd (Allaah is Most Great, Allaah is Most Great, there is no god but Allaah, Allaah is Most Great, Allaah is Most Great, and to Allaah be praise).
The takbeer is divided into two categories:
1 - Takbeer at any time. This is takbeer that is not limited to a specific time, and it is Sunnah to say it all the time, morning and evening, before prayer and after prayer, at all times.
2 - Takbeer at certain times. This is takbeer that is limited to the time immediately after prayer.
It is Sunnah to recite takbeer at any time during the first ten days of Dhu’l-Hijjah and all the days of Tashreeq, starting from the beginning of the month of Dhu’l-Hijjah (i.e., from sunset on the last day of Dhu’l-Qa’dah) until the end of the days of al-Tashreeq, which is when the sun sets on the thirteenth day of Dhu’l-Hijjah).

But before I became Muslim (Christian/atheist) my 2 sons and I traveled North Africa and Middle East for 2 years (2006 - 2008) with out going back to America. Then we came back to the Middle East and stayed in Syria for 6 months (2009).... my sons converted to Islam in Syria.
In 2010 I converted to Islam in Las Vegas and in 2011 we all came back to the Middle East and North Africa (choosing Egypt even tho you guys had your revolution against Mubarak)
I have stayed in Egypt and this part of the world because I feel at home here. More at home here than I do in America. But I love America. Wallahi I do. America you can wear what you want, pray to whoever you want. We have our issues but only 1 time have we felt discriminated against because we are Muslim and we had people behind us in line stick up for us.
Alhamdulillah. I always recommend America (I'm biased because I'm American) but Australia has a great Muslim community.

Today's Umma is a difficult one. I was in a toxic environment at work. It was my first few years in a work environment. There were Muslim brothers in my area who could see what was happening. But no one gave me any support or help even though I was looking for it. It taught me to be more supportive of each other for the sake of Allah (SWT) and I think today's Ummah we could do more to help each other out, even for the sake of Allah.

I was diagnosed with chronic depression three years ago. Nothing worked but following the path to Allah I swear I still have this cruel illness but I'm a different person no matter how bad it gets I stand strong in my prayers on time no matter how down I am. I cry to him only and I talk and talk till I feel comfort
Now I'm 13 years, I used to suffer from depression even if nobody from my family noticed. I was so weak to increase my deen, when i was praying my mind was white. But then I realised, I have Allaah I have the Quran. I just need to be conscious about the prayer. And even now I'm still struggling about my Imaan but I just can say Alhamdulillah
I'm so depressed now. This video was like a breath of fresh air. I should try to be closer to Allah. And the ending is awesome.

I support my friends with their depression in order to forget any sorrow of my own but it all unleashes when I’m alone with my thoughts in the night but I know there’s light at the end of the tunnel and that light is Allah the most merciful❤️
I have completed my studies from Uk university and became a forensic scientist. When i read the Quran it changed my perception and now i realised science in the Quran. Yesterday i was in illusion that im scientist but today im actually a scientist after reading the Holy Quran. Love you Allah the creator of everything

Allah tests those who he loves. You need to trust your creator, the Lord of all the worlds, the master of the 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐣𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, Allah. This life is temporary, trust me you don't want to face the severity of Hell because indeed Allah is Severe in punishment. But in the Quran he always right after tells you, he is the most 𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐟𝐮𝐥, he loves you so much. If you don't believe me then test for yourself by emerging yourself in good deeds and staying away from evil. The absolute fundamental and the best possible thing you could do is to pray your 5 daily prayers on time. If you haven't been praying start with one or 2 then slowly increase it, but be consistent that's most important. Wallahi, if you pray with correct intention and heart, watch the change in your life. Prayer is the starting block and then you gradually build on that, it is the fundamental block for comfort. One thing additionally that works it to remember Allah consistently. It works soo well. "Surely in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find comfort". Whenever you "fail" or slip up just remember that Allah is most Forgiving and Merciful. He forgives all sin. If Allah forgave a man who killed 100 people, why cant he forgive humanity and you. (Assuming you aren't a lunatic serial killer). In regards of your thought mental health mindset addictions pray to your Lord your Creator have belief and trust in him, this will occur through consistent prayers and good deeds. Allah loves those who does good deeds . "Allah loves the doers of good."

Ive been deppresion lately, cuz i am still have no job, and i am still have struggle with this "feeling interact with someone ""same"", unhealthy" i feel that way since i was little about 3 YO. But allhammdulillah i never do such a terrible things such sinss about building bad unhealthy forbidden relation. Iam still gratefull, thank god allhammdulillah and bissmillah its gonna be my diamond one day in akhirah.
